Vibration Control of the Continuous System Under White Noise Disturbance (백색잡음가진을 받는 연속체의 진동제어)

  • 최근 항공우주 및 생산자동화 분야의 급격한 발달에 따라 정밀도와 효율성을 향상시키기 위해 저중량, 고강도 구조물이 요구된다. 그러나 경량화 추세로 인해 수반되는 구조물의 유연성 증가로 외력에 대한 구조응답의 진폭이 커지고 구조물의 피로 수명이 단축되어 매우 위험한 상황에 이를 수 있다. 이런 바람직하지 않은 진동현상을 제어하기 위해 여러 제어이론을 응용한 진동억제시스템의 연구가 활발하며, 신소재인 압전재료의 개발로 새로운 방향이 제시되고 있다. 압전재료는 유연한 구조물에 부착되어 압전재료의 수축, 팽창 운동에 의해 발생된 에너지를 부착된 구조물에서의 제어력으로 사용되어, 진동 혹은 자세 및 형상 제어에 활용되고 있다. 압전재료에 대한 연구로는 Crawley, de Luis3가 보의 표면 혹은 내부에 압전세라믹을 부착하여 액튜에이터로 사용하는 경우 집중모멘트를 가하는 역할을 함을 밝혔고, Hanagud, obal은 압전재료를 센서와 액튜에이터로 사용해 복합재료 보에 대한 최적 진동제어 알고리즘을 개발, 그 성능에 대한 효과를 조사하였고 임의의 위치에 부착된 센서 및 액튜에이터를 고려한 복합재료 보의 운동방정식을 유한요소법을 이용 유도하였으며 변위율 피드백(rate feedback)과 모달피드백(modal feedback) 제어기를 적용하여 진동제어 효과를 고찰하였다. 그리고 Tomas, James, Hubbard는 압전필름을 액튜에이터로 사용해 복합재료 보에 Liapunov 제어기와 변위율 피드백 제어기를 사용하여 능동감쇠기를 설계하였고, Lee, Chaing, Sullivan은 압전필름을 센서와 액튜에이터로 사용해 평판에 변위율 피드백 제어기를 적용한 능동감쇠기를 설계하고 실험적으로 수행하였다. Base가 백색잡음가진을 지속적으로 받을 때 보끝의 움직임이 최소가 되도록 제어하고자 연구를 수행 중인 바 그 결과로소 본 논문에서는 적용시켰고 F-P-K 방정식을 이용해 확률영역으로 변환하여 LQR 제어기와 pole allocation 제어기를 시스템에 적용시켜 우수한 특성을 갖음을 제어 시뮬레이션의 결과를 통해 입증하였다.

A Design Weighting Polynomial Parameter Tuning of a Self Tuning Controller (자기동조 제어기의 설계 하중다항식 계수 조정)

  • This paper presents the method for the automatic tuning of a design weighting polynomial parameter of a generalized minimum-variance stochastic self tuning controller which adapts to changes in the system parameters with time delays and noises. The self tuning effect is achieved through the recursive least square algorithm at the parameter estimation stage and also through the Robbins-Monro algorithm at the stage of optimizing a design weighting polynomial parameters. The proposed self tuning method is simple and effective compared with other existing self tuning methods. The computer simulation results are presented to illustrate the procedure and to show the performance of the control system.

  • The steam generator water level control system is studied as a class of randomly sampled nonlinear control systems. The sampling interval and the loop amplification factor are considered as random variables in order to take the operator behavior in account. Stochastic stability using Lyapunov method is used without determining such Lyapunov function. The derived stability criterion is verified with time-domain simulation using the data of CANDU type nuclear power plant, Wolsung 1.

  • In this paper, I propose Fuzzy Policing Mechanism(FPM) over ATM networks for the control of traffic which is unpredictable and bursty source. The FPM is consist of counter, subtracter and Fuzzy Logic Controller(FLC). The FLC is divided to fuzzifier, inference engine and defuzzifer The output of FLC inputs to the subtractor and it controls the counter. The counter works as a switch in transmission of cells. In simulation, I compared the FPM with the Leaky Bucket algorithm(LBM) in cell loss probability and performance characteristics. As a result, FPM gives lower cell loss probability than that of LBM and has good response behavior The FPM efficiently controls the transmission of packets which are variable traffic source and, it also has good selectivity.

  • In this paper, a robust reduced order adaptive controller is proposed based on Internal Model Control(IMC) structure for stochastic linear stable systems. The concept of gain margin is utilized to make the adaptive IMC controller robust. We prove the stability of the proposed adaptive IMC system for stable plants under the assumption that upper bounds for system orders are known. Simulation results show that the proposed method has good performance and stability robustness.

  • Frame relay is a fast packet switching technology that performs relaying and multiplexing frames with variable lengths over a wide area link at the T1 or E1 speed, by elminating error and flow control in the network. In frame relay networks, congestion control is typically performed through the rate enforcement with a discard eligibility (DE) bit, and the explicit negative feedback meachanisms using explicit congetion notification bits. In this paper, we consider the congestiong control scheme using the rate enforcement mechanism with DE bit for frame relay network. Assuming that each frame with exponentially distributed length arrives according to the Poission fashion, we can treat the frame relay switch as an M/M/1/K priority queueing system with pushout basis. We analyze and present the blocking probabilities and waiting time distributions of frames.

  • 콜 센터에서 CTI(Computer Telephony Integration)서버틀 통해 호(Call)를 제어할 때, 무한 입선 대기식 모델에서는 과잉호에 대한 지연확률이 발생한다. 이 지연 확률이 폴 센터에서 기준으로 삼은 시간 이후에는 호의 손실로 판단하게 되므로 호 접속 실패율을 최소로 하기 위한 노력이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 AVAYA의 트래픽 계산기를 이용한 모의 실험을 통해 시간당 호 량과 대기시간 변화에 따른 호접속 실패를 최소로 하기 위한 trunk 수와 인원수에 대해 제시하였다.

  • This paper discusses a robust stochastic stabilization of uncertain Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy system with Markovian input delay. The finite Markovian process is adopted to model the input delay of the overall control system. It is assumed that the zero and hold devices are used for control input. The continuous-time T-S fuzzy system with the Markovian input delay is discretized for easy handling delay, accordingly, the discretixzd T-S fuzzy system is represented by a uncertain discrete-time T-S fuzy system with jumping parameters. The robust stochastic stabilizibility of the uncertain jump T-S fuzzy system is derived and formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs).

  • This paper presents an implementation and performance analysis of an access channel decoder which exploits a diversity gain due to the independent magnitude of received signals energy at each of antenna elements of a smart antenna BTS (Base-station Transceiver Subsystem) operating in CDMA2000 1X signal environment. Proposed access channel decoder consists of a searcher supporting 4 fingers, Walsh demodulator, and demodulator controller. They have been implemented with 5 of 1 million-gate FPGA's (Field Programmable Gate Array) Altera's APEX EP20K1000EBC652 and TMS320C6203 DSP (digital signal processing). The objective of the proposed access channel decoders is to enhance the data retrieval at co]1-site during the access period, for which the optimal weight vector of the smart antenna BTS is not available. Through experimental tests, we confirmed that the proposed access channel decoder exploitng the diversity technique outperforms the conventional one, which is based on a single antenna channel, in terms of detection probability of access probe, access channel failure probability, and $E_{b/}$ $N_{o}$ in Walsh demodulator.r.r.

  • The network induced transmission delay deteriorates the performance and stability of the real-time distributed control system on LonWorks over IP (LonWorks/IP) virtual device network (VDN). LonWorks/IP virtual device network is an integrated form of LonWorks device network and IP data network. The time delay in servo control on the LonWorks/IP-based VDN has highly stochastic nature. In the real-time distributed servo applications for predictive maintenance on the factory floor, timely response is essential.
