This paper proposes two systems. One is a Home Gateway(HG) which efficiently connects and controls digital appliances in the home network environments. The other is a Management Server(MS) that overcomes the physical limitation of the HG. The HG supports networking modules(TCP/IP for Ethernet, ADSL), home networking functions(HomePNA, IEEE1394 PLC) and telecommunication system(PSTN/SLT, VoIP, Video Communication). The HG is expected to be a core device for the integrated digital home environments. The MS is a dedicated server which manages and controls individual HG, home appliances and HA devices implemented at an area.

가정 내에서의 초고속망 이용이 활성화되면서 가정 내에서의 활동은 매우 다양하고 복잡하며 그에 따른 서비스도 여러 가지 형태가 존재한다. 외부 인터넷망과 연동되는 홈 네트워크의 개념이 생기기 전부터 흠 오토메이션, 홈시큐리티 등의 서비스를 제공하기 위한 고립적인 형태의 망과 서비스 제공 시스템이 있었다. 월드 와이드 웹 서비스를 기본으로 한 인터넷의 폭발적인 활성화와 고속 인터넷망의 확산에 따라 가정 내에서 제공되는 서비스를 인터넷과 연계시키려는 시도가 보편화되었고 가정 내에서 사용되는 독립적인 기기들을 인터넷에 연결하여, 외부의 정보를 이용해서 활용하거나, 가전내의 기기들을 외부에서 액세스할 수 있게 되었다. 이렇게 하여 보다 풍부한 서비스를 제공하고, 사용상의 시간적인 제약을 완화할 수 있다. 예들 들어 인터넷상에서 조리법을 전송받아 전자레인지를 작동할 수 있으며, 외부에서 잘못 켜둔 가스밸브를 잠글 수도 있다. 가정 내에서 wrhd되던 이러한 서비스들은 서로 다른 하드웨어와 통신방법을 사용하고 있어, 이러한 서비스를 통합하여 운영, 관리할 수 있도록 하는 흠 서버의 개념이 대두되었다. 외부 인터넷 망과 연계된 흠 오토메이션, 홈 시큐리티등을 제공할 수 있는 기반이 마련되었고, 가정 내에서 독립적으로 제공되던 서비스들을 단일 홈 서버를 통해서 관리하려는 시도가 진행되었다. 그러나 홈 서버는 개발하는 업체의 보유기술에 따라 중심기능은 약간씩 차이를 보이고 있다. 홈 서버 응용 영역은 전문 지식을 소유한 인력과의 연계가 필요하고, 다양한 서비스 영역 행위가 아주 복잡하기 때문에 이들을 연결해 주는 자치 시스템을 필요로 한다. 또한 홈 서버 서비스 영역에서 정보는 각 영역 전문가가 가진 지식의 전달을 필요로 하기 때문에, 지식을 주고받는 멀티 에이전트의 시스템의 활용 영역으로 적당하다. 멀티 에이전트 시스템은 분산된 환경에서 에이전트간에 에이전트 통신 언어를 사용해서 대화를 하기도 하고, 상호 협력하는 에이전트들로 구성된 시스템을 뜻하며 흠 서버처럼 동적이고 고도의 자치성을 요구하는 영역에 적당하다. 멀티 에이전트 플랫폼으로는 FIPA(Foundation for Intelligent Physical Agents)가 제시한 에이전트 표준 플랫폼이 1997년부터 2000년에 이르기까지, 계속적으로 변화, 발전하고 있다. 본 연구는 FIPA에서 제시하는 플랫폼을 기반으로 홈 서버에 정보가전을 제어하는 에이전트를 두고 외부에서 다른 에이전트가 홈 서버에 위치하는 에이전트와의 통신을 통하기 정보가전을 지능적으로 제어하도록 하였다. 정보가전 에이전트는 가정 내 가전제품을 외부에서 제어하기 위한 에이전트이다. 단순한 관리가 아닌 에이전트로 하여금 지능적으로 가전제품 관리를 하게 한다. 정보가전 에이전트는 홈 서버에서 작동하는 에이전트와 PDA에서 작동하는 에이전트로 구성된다. 정보가전 에이전트는 전력량, 수도 사용량 제어와 가전제품 제어 기능과 보안 관련 서비스를 제공한다. 두 에이전트는 FIPA에서 정의된 규격에 맞게 만들어지기 때문에 FIPA명세서를 따르는 다른 에이전트와 자유로운 통신이 가능하다.

This paper proposes the system model that is more efficient and active than formal home automation system and it can conquer the limits of formal one using intelligent mobile robot. This system uses specialized intelligent mobile robot for home environment and the robot moves around home instead of human. We call the system model to HAuPIRS (Home Automation system using PDA based Intelligent Robot System). HAuPIRS control architecture is composed three parts and each part is User Level, Cognitive Level, Executive Level. It is easy to use system and possible to extend the home apparatus from new technology. We made the PBMoRo System (PDA Based Mobile Robot System) based on HAuPIRS architecture and verified the efficiency of the system model.

Home automation technology combines various devices in home organically with each other to ensure the convenience and improved safety of the home life refers to a technique for improving the human living. Because of the technology needed to make this house before you can act as awareness of your thoughts. In this paper, we implement the system model, such as data collection using a sensor network, and take advantage of the idea that the data itself to the home, and an introduction to the method.

가정내 가전기기들은 아날로그 방식에서 디지털 방식으로 전환되고 있으며, 이로 인해 디저털 가전기기들간의 네트워크 환경 구축이 새로운 패러다임으로 굳혀지고 있다. 하지만 가정내 네트워크 관련기술은 유 무선과 같은 다양한 방식으로 발전되고 있으며, 이를 효과적으로 상호 인터페이스하기 위한 소프트웨어 관련 기술이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 유 무선 환경을 고려한 디지털 가전기기나 정보가전기 기들간의 상호 인터페이스와 실행환경을 구성하기 위해 지능형 홈웨어를 구현하였다. 지능형 홈웨어는 다양한 플랫폼을 가진 디지털 가전기기나 정보가전기기에 탑재되어지며 무선 센서 네트워크 환경과 전력선 통신을 사용하여 글로벌 네트워크 환경으로의 연결을 가능하게 하는 유선네트워크 환경을 기반으로 한다. 이들 유선과 무선 환경의 상호 인터페이스를 통해서 가정내 생활환경을 조절할 수 있는 홈 오토메이션 기능을 위한 실행환경을 제공한다.

전력선 가입자망은 그 잠재적인 활용도가 매우 높아 국내외 전력 회사들의 관심도가 매우 높아지고 있다. 기존의 단순한 전력 공급만을 목적으로 하던 수용가의 전력선을 통신망으로 이용하면 전기 이용은 물론 정보가전기기, 컴퓨터 기기 등의 홈 네트워킹, 홈 오토메이션 및 인터넷 통신이 가능하게 됨으로써 관련 업종의 경쟁력 제고와 전력 사용기기를 최적 제어함으로써 가정의 편리성과 에너지 효율을 극대화 할 수 있다. 또한 전력선망을 보유한 전력회사에서는 원격 수요관리, 검침 및 자동화 기술을 통하여 보다 효율적인 전력 운영과 수용가 이익을 증대화 시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 전력선 통신을 이용하여 원격검침, 수요관리, 고객 관리 및 전력 정보 제공, 심야전력 관리 및 감시 등의 다양한 서비스를 경제적으로 제공하기 위하여 우리나라 실정에 맞는 전력부가 서비스 시스템의 주요 기기들을 설계하고 개발한다.

최근 IT분야에서 주목받고 있는 부분은 정보가전분야이다. 특히, 홈오토메이션(HA Home Automation)에서 중심이 되는 시스템은 홈서버라 할 수 있다. 즉, 가정내에 홈서버가 설치되어 이를 중심으로 내부적으로는 정보가전기기들이 네트워킹되어 있고, 밖으로는 인터넷을 기본 통신 환경으로 구성되는 것이 현실이다. 이러한 환경에서 홈시큐리티 방면의 영상감시기능은 핵심분야 중 하나이다. 영상감시기능을 수행하고자 가정의 홈서버상에 영상감시 모듈이 탑재되어진다. 이때, 홈서버는 임베디드 시스템으로 Qplus라고 하는 임베디드 리눅스 계열의 운영체제를 기본으로 하며, 영상감시 모듈은 SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)기반으로 수행된다. SIP은 VoIP(Voice over IP) 분야의 핵심기술로 최근 많이 부각되어 널리 활용되고 있는 응용 계층의 시그널링 프로토콜이다. 한편, 영상코덱은 ITU-T의 H.261표준을 따르고 있으며, 이러한 영상감시기능은 홈서버 뿐만 아니라, PDA와 같은 핸드헬드 장치를 통해서도 제공된다. 본 논문에서는 임베디드 영상가미 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 대해 기술하고 있다.

This paper describes the system that enables users to control the home electronic equipment using mobile phone. The home network industry is setting in network period that grow rapidly and get many interests. And, it is real condition that hailing of existed system is rising too. This paper developed system to make use of mobile phone regarding this and control boiler temperature in home to remote. This paper that serve this used skill of mobile programming, mobile Brew, RF radio communication, etc. for communication with server in an experiment. This paper presented another method that use RF radio communication and mobile device in home automation construction. The result of this paper will be expected to be able to contribute little in development of home network industry.

Generally home networks are based on wired network and wireless network. This makes customers be capable of using electric home appliances and full-duplex multimedia services and controlling the machines without any restrictions of place or time. Now that the scope of home security is being extended, the home networks can be formed with not only personal computer but also home automation, electric home appliances, and etc. But this causes many of attacks of invasion and damages. Therefore in this paper we suggest the SSIP(Secure Session Initiate protocol) model for solving those problems. The SSIP model is able to provide an efficient authentication and reduce the time of session re-establishment and set-up by adding ability of SIP authentication to Cluster-to-Cluster environment performed on home gateway.

The necessity of the home network have been enlarged gradually according to the distribution of ultra-high speed internet, the expansion of a digital information equipment and the change of a life pattern. In this paper, we proposed the embedded ethernet module that could be operate on eight bit system, but it could control home appliance with full ethernet speed. The embedded ethernet module consists of 8051 MCU and Hardware TCP/IP. In this module, we construct simple web server and port remote control program for I/O device control. We verified through internet that the developed embedded ethernet module could control and check home appliances anywhere and anytime. We expect the developed ethernet module can build up niche market at home network. And it will be helpful to activate home network market.
