Making a Well-made Story in Choi Dong Hoon's Films with Ten Million Audiences (최동훈 천만 관객 영화의 잘 짜여진 이야기 구성)

  • Choi Dong-hoon's films tend to have not been well treated academically in Korea. But from the point of view that his works have succeeded in box office and survived in the market for some reason, there seems to be new possibilities to treat them. In this paper, the two movies with ten million audiences, and that are Choi's original scenario and caper film genre are tried to examine the success factors in box office on "making well made story". Often, well-made films have both genre-customary and creative aspects. Choi Dong-hoon's movies are the same. and faithfully follow the rules of caper film genre. At the same time, these two films have complex adaptive systematic creativity, in which multiple characters are self-organizing with their story patterns actively. And since there is a proper coexistence of customary and original aspects in the and , these two films are seemed to be at the edge of the chaos, which is the most market adaptable.

Dynamical Analysis of the Mooring Vessel System Under Surge Excitations (선박 계류시스템의 종방향 외력하의 비선형 동적거동 해석)

  • This paper deals with the dynamical analysis of a two-point mooring vessel under surge excitations. The characteristics of nonlinear behaviors are investigated completely including bifurcation and limit cycle according to particular input parameter changes. The strong nonlinearity of the mooring system is mainly caused by linear and cubic terms of restoring force. The numerical simulation is performed based on the fourth order Runge-Kutta algorithm. The bifurcation diagram and several instability phenomena are observed clearly by varying amplitudes as well as frequencies of surge excitations. Stable periodic solutions, called the periodic windows, can be obtained in succession between chaotic clouds of dots in case of frequency ${\omega}=0.4rad/s$. In addition, the chaotic region is unexpectedly increased when external forcing amplitude exceeds 1.0 with the angular frequency of ${\omega}=0.7rad/s$. Compared to the cases for ${\omega}=0.4$, 0.7rad/s, the region of chaotic behavior becomes more fragile than in the case of ${\omega}=1.0rad/s$. Finally, various types of steady states including sub-harmonic motion, limit cycle, and symmetry breaking phenomenon are observed in the two-point mooring system at each parameter value.

  • The primary purpose of this paper is to find out the environmental regulation in our global society with complex system concept. After the industrial revolution, there were working toward solving various problems while there has been an industry advancement. But, there are various issues that a simple international trade or economic technologic levels were not solved. The evolution of technologies through complex systemic thought are not accidental issues. These issues build and provide a predictable technology innovation that system was emergent a new order. With complex systemic thought, the earth that was facing environmental problems was in the phrase edge of chose. These conditions played the trigger role for the solving various problems in environmental regulations but they don't get along well together. There were no causal relationship between structural elements. This paper describes an emergence of new order through these interactions in environmental regulation. These environmental regulations make desperate efforts not only public sectors but also private or/and firms that make an emergence of new order with the critical point reached. Also, we provide the understanding base an environmental regulation with new order for uncertainty.

정규모드 동역학을 활용한 비선형 진동

  • 물리계에서 일어나는 동적 현상들은 선형해석 만으로 설명하기에는 불충분한 점이 많이 있다. 이는 기계구조물과 같은 실제 계의 진동이 기하학적 비선형성, 강성 의 비선형성 또는 경계조건의 비선형성 등의 영향으로 비선형적인 거동을 하기 때문 이다. 비선형 진동을 하는 기계 계는 우리 주변에서 쉽게 찾아 볼 수 있는데, 그 예로써 진자운동을 포함하여 동흡진기, 회전체계, 공작기계의 절삭운동, 건마찰 (dry friction) 관련 기계장치, 치차 및 기차의 바퀴와 레일 간의 접촉에서 볼수 있는 구분적 선형(piecewise linear) 진동계, 충격 진동계 등을 들 수 있다. 비선형 진동 연구는 limit cycle, 준주기운동(quasiperiodic motion), 점프현상(jump phenomena) 등의 인식에서 시작되어, 과거에는 설명이 안되어 회피되 왔던 랜덤(random) 형태의 비주기운동에 대한 연구로 까지 발전하고 있다. 비선형 진동을 다루는데 있어서 정규모드(normal mode)를 이용하는 방법이 있다. 일반적으로 선형계는 선형 정규모드 (linear normal mode)가 존재하는 것과 같이 비선형계에도 이와 유사한 정규모드가 존재한다는 사실이 연구 보고된 바 있다. 비선형계에 존재하는 정규모드는 계의 매개 변수(system parameters)에 따라 그 안정성이 바뀔 수 있으며, 만일 안정한 정규모드 가 어떤 매개변수에서 그 안정성이 바뀐다면 선형이론으로는 설명될 수 없는 새로운 운동이 일어나고 이러한 운동을 분기모드(bifurcation mode)라고 한다. 안정한 정규 모드 및 분기모드를 포함하여 비선형계를 다류는 것을 "정규모드 동역학(normal mode dynamics)"이라고 한다. 정규모드 동역학은 앞에서 언급된 비선형 현상들의 원인규명, 예측, 안정성해석 및 강제진동 해석을 가능하게 한다. 또한 최근에 활발히 연구되고 있는 혼돈운동(chaotic motion)의 해석도 가능하다. 이 글에서는 비선형 진동해석을 위한 정규모드 동역학에 대한 연구동향 및 기본 이론을 살펴 보았고, 그 적용 예를 통하여 실험결과와 비교 고찰 함으로써 정규모드 동역학의 적용성을 서술하여 보았다. 선형이론으로 이해하기 어려운 현상들에 대하여는 비선형의 관점에서 새롭게 접근하 려는 노력이 필요하며 비선형 이론에 대한 연구가 지속적으로 진행되어야 한다. 진행되어야 한다.

A Union Model of Human and Agent for Processing the Information of the Complex System (복잡계 정보 처리를 위한 사람과 에이전트의 결합 모델)

  • In the large scale B2B transaction like buying ´Express-Train´ or selling ´Daewoo Motor`, a tremendous amount of variables and factors of chaos functionate in it directly or indirectly. To get the effective information processing on the so called complex system like this, it should be possible to unite the human´s ability on the implicit information processing and the agent´s ability on the explicit information processing. In this paper, we suggested a union model for uniting these two heterogeneous abilities and showed how the suggested model can be used for processing the information of such a complex system as B2B negotiation.

Noise Effect in a Nonlinear System Under Harmonic Excitation (불규칙한 외부 교란이 주기적 가진을 받는 비선형계의 동적 특성에 미치는 영향)

  • Dynamic characteristics are investigated when a nonlinear system showing periodic and chaotic responses under harmonic excitation is exposed to random perturbation. Approach for both qulitative and quantitative analysis of the noise effect in a nonlinear system under harmonic excitation is presented. For the qualitative analysis, Lyapunov exponents are calculated and Poincar map is illustrated. For the quatitative analysis. Fokker-Planck equatin is solved numerical by means of a Path-integral solution procedure. Eigenvalue problem obtained from the numerical caculation is solved and the relation of eigenvalue, eigenvector and chaotic motion is investigated.

Chaotic Out-of-Plane Vibration of Curved Pipe Conveying Oscillatory Flow (조화진동유동을 포함한 곡선파이프계의 외평면 혼돈 운동 연구)

  • In this paper the chaotic out-of-plane vibrations of the uniformly curved pipe with pulsating flow are theoretically investigated. The derived equations of motion contain the effects of nonlinear curvature and torsional coupling. The corresponding nonlinear ordinary differential equation is a type of nonhomogenous Hill's equation . this is transformed into the averaged equation by averaging theorem. Bifurcation curves of chaotic motion are obtained by Melnikov's method and plotted in several cases of frequency ratios. The theoretically obtained results are demonstrated by numerical simulation. And strange attractors are shown.

  • 지난 몇 십 년간 한국사회는 급격한 도시화와 시-공간 압축을 겪었다. 이러한 변화는 한편으로는 정체성 혼란을 심화시켰으며, 다른 한편으로는 여가시간의 증대를 초래하고 있다. 이 정체성 혼돈과 여가의 증대 경향이 대중들로 하여금 ‘삶의 질’요구를 제기하게 하였다. 이 논문에서는‘삶의 질’향상이 자연과 장소에 대한 문화적 감수성 회복을 통하여 이루어질수 있다고 주장한다. 여기서 문화적 감수성이란 자연과 장소에 대한 심미를 의미한다. 16세기의 위대한 유학자 퇴계 이황의 경관독해처럼, 유교적 자연미는 숭고미가 아니라 자연합일 감성이다. 유학자들은 이러한 자연에 자신을 합일(정체화)하는 감성을 가지는 것을 최선의 일상적 실천으로 삼았다. 생생불식하는 자연의 모습을 ‘천지의 마음’으로 보고, 그것을 체득하는 것에 자기수양의 궁극적 목적을 두었기 때문이다. 퇴계는 자연합일이 아니라 거주 과정에서 형성된 인간-자연 간이 감성적 연계에 관한 것이다. ‘삶의 질’추구는 인간과 자연생태계 간의 심각한 단절을 극복하기 위한 참된 거주경험에 대한 욕구이다. 우리는 유학자의 ‘자연합일’감성으로부터 진정한 거주경험을 배울 수 있다.

Design of an RFID Authentication Protocol Using Nonlinear Tent-Map (비선형 Tent-Map을 이용한 RFID 인증 프로토콜 설계)

  • The RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) system is a technology to discern things by radio and an epoch-making new method to improve product management such as distribution, transport, mobilization, inventory control. However, RFID, which uses radio, is at risk for information leakage and falsification due to the vulnerability of security of the communication section. We designed the new authentication protocol by applying the tent map, which is the representative complex systems, to the RFID communication system. A more solid and simple authentication system was designed by applying the initial value sensitivity and irregularity, which are the representative characteristics of the complex system, to the reader and tag of RFID. The purpose of this paper is to verify the usability of the RFID authentication protocol design that uses the nonlinear system shown in this thesis by the new system differentiated from the authentication system that depends on the existing hash function or random numbers.

An Analysis of High School Student's Understanding Level about Basic Concepts of Special Relativity through in-depth interview (심층 면담을 통한 고등학생들의 특수 상대론 기초 개념에 대한 이해 수준 분석)

  • The Purpose of this study was an analysis of high school student's understanding level about concepts of special relativity through in-depth interview. The 8 participants were 10th grade students in H high school in Ulsan city, who were interviewed and analyzed in the results of the interview about basic concepts of special relativity using achievement checklist in 6 situations(principle of constancy of light velocity, principle of relativity, relativity of simultaneity, garage paradox, rocket paradox). As results of the checklist, the participants showed high achievement in the content level of simple phenomena and simple concepts related to special relativity. But they showed low achievement in the concept level for fundamental understanding of special relativity. As results of the interview, it was found that the participants decided the order of events depending on their intuition and had a difficulty to apply the coordinate system to real situation, even though they mathematically understood it. In addition, some participants who could not understand the inertial coordinate system explained paradoxes of relativity depending on their intuition and had learner's chaos. Finally, though high school students usually being in formal operational stage, some students had difficulty to draw phenomena of space and time in two dimensional plane.
