  • 원래 오감은 말 그대로 각 감각이 개별적으로 존재하는 것이 아니라 다섯 개의 감각이 때로는 겹치고 보완하고 서로 상승하기도 하면서 우리의 감성구조를 보다 입체적으로 구성한다. 따라서 사람들은 뭔가를 판단할 때 오감을 총동원하게 된다. 그러나 일반적으로 디자인이나 제품개발을 하기 위해 사용하는 의미분별척도는 사물의 성질이나 모양을 묘사하는 이미지 형용사를 사용하기 때문에 이런 감성구조를 파악하기에는 많은 한계를 가질 수 밖에 없다. 본 연구에서는 형용사 이미지어에 의존하는 의미분별척도법(SD법)의 한계를 밝히고, 형태, 색채, 음감, 미감, 후각, 촉감과 같은 오감 정보의 관련기호분석을 바탕으로 보다 입체적으로 감성구조를 파악할 수 있는 감성척도를 개발하였다.

  • 본 연구는 형용사 '크다'를 예로 들어 기존 사전의 의의 기술과 비교하여 실제 코퍼스에서 나타나는 의의를 비교 분석하고자 하였다. 기존 사전들이 기술하고 있는 '크다' 의 의의는 사전마다 다르게 기술되어 있으므로, 공통적인 의의들과 서로 차이가 나는 의의들을 구분하여 비교 제시한다. 이 중에서 조사된 실제 코퍼스를 근거로 하여, '크다'의 의의를 다섯 가지로 설정하였다. 이것은 코퍼스 기반의 의의 구분 방법이 기존의 사전적 구분법보다 더 많은 객관성을 부여해 주는 방법이라 할 수 있다.

Analyzing Vocabulary Characteristics of Colloquial Style Corpus and Automatic Construction of Sentiment Lexicon (구어체 말뭉치의 어휘 사용 특징 분석 및 감정 어휘 사전의 자동 구축)

  • In a mobile environment, communication takes place via SMS text messages. Vocabularies used in SMS texts can be expected to use vocabularies of different classes from those used in general Korean literary style sentence. For example, in the case of a typical literary style, the sentence is correctly initiated or terminated and the sentence is well constructed, while SMS text corpus often replaces the component with an omission and a brief representation. To analyze these vocabulary usage characteristics, the existing colloquial style corpus and the literary style corpus are used. The experiment compares and analyzes the vocabulary use characteristics of the colloquial corpus SMS text corpus and the Naver Sentiment Movie Corpus, and the written Korean written corpus. For the comparison and analysis of vocabulary for each corpus, the part of speech tag adjective (VA) was used as a standard, and a distinctive collexeme analysis method was used to measure collostructural strength. As a result, it was confirmed that adjectives related to emotional expression such as'good-','sorry-', and'joy-' were preferred in the SMS text corpus, while adjectives related to evaluation expressions were preferred in the Naver Sentiment Movie Corpus. The word embedding was used to automatically construct a sentiment lexicon based on the extracted adjectives with high collostructural strength, and a total of 343,603 sentiment representations were automatically built.

Exploring the Style Factors of Light and Lighting (조명의 스타일 요인 탐색)

  • Lightning is increasingly used as a design element that provides emotional experiences and enhances affection. This study analyzes the emotions elicited by light and lighting and proposes new scales for the emotional characteristics of light. Impressive light-related experiences were gathered via a survey, and adjectives were extracted to describe light from each experience. A survey conducted with 47 experienced lighting designers yielded 355 examples of impressive lighting experiences, from which 142 adjectives were extracted, and 43 were chosen as evaluation criteria. Using these criteria, 23 participants rated 221 lighting examples. Factor analysis yielded five factors: "Mystique," "Naturalness," "Excitement," "Elegance," and "Smartness." Each factor is consists of various adjectives representing different emotional characteristics of lighting. The results shall guide product and space designers to effectively convey desired emotions and affections through lighting.

An Analysis of the Visual Characteristics and Preference Factors of Traditional Landscape of Rivers in Kangnam Region of China - With a Case of River in Zhouzhuang, Jiangsu Province of China - (중국 강남 전통 수향(水鄕) 하천 경관의 시각적 특성 및 선호요인 분석 - 중국 강수성 주장(周莊) 하천경관을 중심으로 -)

  • The Study takes the rivers in Zhouzhuang - traditional Chinese Kangnam watery landscape as the object. The purpose of this study is to grasp the relationships between visual characteristics and the preference. The following is the research process: Firstly, the theoretical study of Zhouzhuang, the traditional Kangnam region in China, is conducted, the watery landscape is taken pictures, and 22 photos are selected. Secondly, in order to grasp the visual preference and landscape characteristics of the watery landscape in Zhouzhuang, 22 pictures and 25 pairs of adjectives are adopted for the questionnaire survey. Thirdly, in order to have a better understanding on the physical properties and effects of physical quantity on the preference, the occupation ratios of buildings and sculptures, natural elements, footpaths, bank revetments and other landscape elements are calculated, and the mean analysis, dispersion analysis and regression analysis are conducted. In order to grasp the landscape characteristics and preference factors, 25 pairs of adjectives are used to conduct the factor analysis. In order to grasp the effects of characteristics of visual factors on the preference, the dispersion analysis and regression analysis are carried out. The results are as follows: From the results of the landscape preference analysis, in the No.22 photo with the top preference, 11 pairs of adjectives, namely, "harmonious-disharmonious", "beautiful-ugly", "rural-urban", "soft-rough", "stable-instable", "romantic-realistic", "cheerful-gloomy", "brilliant-simple", "natural-artificial", "familiar-strange", and "clean-dirty" have positive effects on watery landscape. It can be viewed as the relatively important factor in the visual preference. In terms of the results of visual physical quantity analysis of traditional Chinese Kangnam watery landscape, the landscape with high occupation ratio of buildings and sculptures has positive effects on visual preference. The results of analysis of visual physical quantity and preference show that the preference degree increases as the occupation ratio of footpath area increases. The analysis results of visual characteristics of traditional Chinese Kangnam watery landscape identify four factors, namely psychological factor, cultural factor, condition factor and physical factor. It can be concluded from the results of analysis of the relationships between visual preference and visual characteristics that the return coefficient B of the psychological factor is +0.936. It can significantly affect the watery landscape, so it can be identified as the most important factor among the visual preference factors of Chinese Kangnam watery landscape.

  • 본 연구는 생활 소음이 유발하는 유해성을 객관적으로 평가할 수 있는 감성 척도를 개발하고, 그 척도를 이용하여 생활 소음과 소음에 대한 감성간 관계를 반영하는 감성 지수를 도출하고자 수행되었다. 먼저 소음에 대한 주관적 느낌을 잘 기술해주는 27 개의 형용사를 선정한 뒤, 세 가지의 실제 주거 소음을 들려주며 소음에 대한 감성을 27 개의 형용사에 대해 평가하게 하였다. 이 결과에 대한 요인분석을 실시하여 '지배성', '쾌/불쾌', '각성' 차원의 세 개 차원으로 구성되는 14 개의 최종적 소음 감성 척도를 개발하였다. 다음으로 실제 주거 생활에서 소음과 감성간 관계를 알아보기 위해 실제로 4 가지의 주거 소음을 들으면서 인지적 과제를 수행하게 하여 소음에 대한 느낌을 소음 감성 척도상에 평가하게 하는 실험을 실시하였다. 이 결과 소음의 크기가 증가할수록 소음에 대한 감성이 부정적으로 나타나는 직선적 관계가 얻어졌고. 이를 기초로 일차 방정식 형태의 소음-감성 지수를 도출하였다.

Analysis of Image of Meister High School Students by Industrial HR Managers (마이스터고 학생에 대한 산업체 HR 담당자의 이미지 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the development of school education and employment policy by analyzing the differences between image of meister high school students anticipated by industrial HR managers and image actually perceived. For this, semantic differential method developed by Osgood (1957) was selected as the study tool. To find out images of meister high school students, validity of 50 adjectives suggested by Osgood and 21 additional adjectives used in previous studies was reviewed by 10 experts. Final 20 adjectives were selected by excluding adjectives that fail to satisfy validity of contents. Proportional sampling in metropolitan and non-metropolitan areas was done to select 350 final survey samples. A total of 600 surveys were distributed and 230 were returned. Return rate was 38.3%. The results of this study are as follows. First, image of meister high school students anticipated by industrial HR managers showed average score of 2.49, which indicates a positive image. In addition, factor analysis was performed to classify adjectives into groups, and they were divided into three factors including external factor, way of thinking factor, and internal (personality) factor. Second, image of meister high school students currently perceived by industrial HR managers showed average score of 3.24, which indicates a positive image. Third, image of meister high school students currently perceived by industrial HR managers was not as positive as image they anticipate.

  • 본 연구는 면 편성물의 washing 을 통해 주관적인 질감과 선호도와의 관련성을 총체적으로 파악하여 소비자의 감각과 선호도를 예측하고, 그 결과를 고부가가치 면 소재 개발에 필요한 자료를 제공하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 면 소재의 질감을 나타내는 형용사에는 어떤 것이 있으며, 이러한 감각들은 어떻게 분류될 수 있는지를 알아보고, 면 편성물의 감각구조를 통해 촉감과 선호도를 예측해 보았다. washing 방법을 달리한 면편성물 5종을 대상으로 washing 처리를 한 면편성물의 다양한 질감에 대한 감각을 규명하고자 감각형용사에 대하여 요인 분석과 상관분석을 실시하고, 설문조사를 통하여 주관적인 감각과 촉감 및 선호도를 살펴봄으로써, 면편성물의 활용도를 모색하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to find a valid link between color and tourism experience. We analyzed color that extracted by Aerial photo by IRI Image Scale to find color image. As an indicator of the experience of tourism, a review of the Tripadvisor was selected and analyzed through text mining. Results using text mining results and IRI image scales were generally inconsistent. To identify problems with aerial photo, the results of the analysis using the representative photographs provided by the Tripadvisor in the same way were the same as before. This indicate that details are key of tourism than the image of the overall background. This study presents new research directions by combining color analysis studies with text mining.

Comparative Study on Eye-Tracking Evaluation and Landscape Adjectives Evaluation - Focusing on the Nightscape of a University Campus - (아이트래킹 평가 방법과 경관 형용사 평가 비교 연구 - 대학 캠퍼스 야간경관을 대상으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to improve the understanding of visual perception and to extend the landscape evaluation area by comparing eye-tracking evaluation and landscape adjective evaluation methods towards various type of nightscapes. As a result of the study, it showed that 'blink count', 'fixation duration average', and 'saccade duration average' of eye tracking measurements have a significant correlation with 'beautiful', 'interesting', 'accessible', 'satisfying', and 'safe' regarding landscape adjectives. In addition, there was a tendency toward areas of interests (AOIs) depending on 12 different nightscapes, which showed that the gaze was fixated by focusing on certain landscape elements such as 'door' and 'signs'. These results suggest that the eye-tracking method is an effective tool to specify the evaluation of 'landscape elements' rather than the 'whole landscape' and can be used as a basis to support landscape preference theories, which has been presented as conceptual only. In this way, the results of this study demonstrated the possibility of various applications of eye tracking as an objective landscape evaluation technique, and it is possible to suggest specific implications to landscape planning through the accumulation of continuous research results.
