The purpose of this study is to compare the characteristics of research collaborations in the field of LIS. While there are several studies under the unit of analysis of country, there are only a few studies under the unit of analysis of institution in LIS field. For this analysis, we selected eight journals in the KCI (Korea Citation Index) web site, which correspond to the field of LIS through subject classification. The collaborative indices, Collaborative Coefficient, Co-Authorship Index, Local Collaborative Index (LCI), Domestic Collaborative Index (DCI) allowed us to comparatively analyze institutional collaboration patterns in LIS field. In the case of Chung-Ang University, Yonsei University, and Ewha Womans University, collaborative research among professors, graduate students, and professors reflected the fact that collaborations among universities are often performed with professors. In the case of KISTI, which showed a very high index value, the characteristics of project-based research are reflected in the research collaboration pattern.

In recent years, the global financial crisis has worsened the economic environment for small and medium-sized businesses. A great number of South Korean enterprises are having various managerial difficulties, such as insufficient funds, shortage of manpower and lack of market information. To overcome these difficulties, many experts have suggested plans to encourage cooperation among small businesses, and such cooperation has provided diverse services to complement the insufficient capabilities of the individual companies. In spite of the efforts made by government to incite cooperation, however, the businesses themselves have displayed a lack of willingness to such cooperation. Cooperation requires a series of complicated and interdependent processes and, thus, governmental support alone cannot guarantee the necessary willingness to cooperate among small businesses. This research empirically analyzed how cooperative and creative leaderships influence the willingness to cooperate among corporate members. We also empirically studied how relationships among corporate members vary in accordance with their absorptive capacity.

The purpose of this study is to analyze cooperative relationship and information needs using the interlibrary loan (ILL) service data of the academic libraries. This study interprets the ILL service data as information source that including unsolved information problems. Also, this study normalizes the ILL service data using the collaboration index. The results of this study have three aspects. First, col hs-index can be useful tool for analyzing ILL service relationship between different sizes of libraries. Second, this study find out the information needs and the collection characteristics of each library after analyzing ILL data by subjects. Third, by applying col hs-index, we could analysis more objective ILL data and found out possibility of bibliographic index.

인터넷 기반 자원 공유 시스템은 네트워크에 연결된 피어의 자원을 이용하여 고성능의 컴퓨팅 구현을 위한 시스템이다. 인터넷 기반 자원 공유 시스템의 가변적인 환경은 피어의 등록 및 삭제가 자유로워 연산 처리에 대한 신뢰성 문제를 발생시킨다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷 기반 자원 공유 시스템의 신뢰성 향상을 위해서 이기종 시스템간의 협업 그룹을 생성하여 관리하는 협업 관리 시스템을 설계한다. 효율적인 협업 관리를 위해 이기종 피어를 관리하는 협업 그룹을 정의하고 계층 구조의 중간DB서버를 제안한다. 그리고 협업 관리 시스템에서 제공되는 협업 그룹 서비스, 디스커버리 서비스, 작업 관리 서비스를 제안한다.

The need for personalized recommendation is growing due to convenient access and various types of items due to the development of information communication and smartphones. Weather and weather conditions have a great influence on the decision-making of users' places and activities. This weather information can increase users' satisfaction with recommendations. In this paper, we propose a collaborative filtering-based place recommendation system using living index by utilizing living index of users' location information on mobile platform to find users with similar propensity and to recommend places by predicting preferences for places. The proposed system consists of a weather module for analyzing and classifying users' weather, a recommendation module using collaborative filtering for place recommendations, and a management module for user preferences and post-management. Experiments have shown that the proposed system is valid in terms of the convergence of collaborative filtering algorithms and living indices and reflecting individual propensity.

The purpose of this study is to verify the practical effectiveness of the constructivism education theory in building information modeling (BIM)/integrated project delivery (IPD) collaboration education by determining education methods that are most relevant to collaboration in the interaction process. We propose a BIM training model that enhances students' satisfaction in class and collaboration. We aim to identify interrelationships between BIM collaboration education and constructivism theories, examining constructivism methods in BIM/IPD classes to discern which are the most suitable for improving and enhancing collaboration and the proposed education model.

Recently collaboration network is generated to find out experts in their field as potential collaborators in health care sector. In this paper, the co-author network of a National Cancer Center researcher was generated for identifying each researcher's role and collaborative research pattern. The co-author network of 2,437 authors was extracted from 1,194 SCI(E) publications from 2000 to 2010 and author's role was analyzed by author's centrality value. Centrality reflecting only the number of papers and centrality weighted by the paper number, impact factor, and authorship contribution was evaluated. On the comparison with simple degree centrality value and the weighted degree centrality, difference of value was statistically significant(t=11.66, p=0.00). Co-author network considering various variables of the paper provides more objective figure of researcher's role. This suggests that co-author network could be more effective in identifying potential collaborators.

본격적인 국제 사이버 과학기술 R&D 시대를 열어 줄 국제과학기술협업연구망 글로리아드(GLORIAD) 개통을 기념해, 우리 연구원은 지난 9월 5일부터 6일까지 이틀 간 서울롯데호텔(소공동 소재)에서 세계적인 과학기술계 석학들과 함께 '글로벌 첨단 과학기술협업연구망의 발전방안 모색'이라는 주제로 국제 심포지움을 개최했다. 그 첫날인 9월 5일 우리 연구원은 전자신문사와 공동으로 글로리아드 개통의 의의와 앞으로의 발전방향을 진단해 보는 좌담회를 열었다. 좌담회는 우리 연구원 이지수 슈퍼컴퓨팅센터장의 사회로, 미국 글로리아드 사업책임자인 오크릿지 국립연구소(UT-ORNL) 그렉 콜(Greg Cole) 박사, KAIST 전자전산학과 전길남 교수, 세계 핵융합에너지(ITER) 연구의 최고 권위자인 러시아 쿠르차토프연구소(RRC" Kurchatov Institute) 벨리코프(Evegany Velikhov) 소장, 중국 글로리아드 사업 책임자인 중국 전산망정보센터 얀 바오핑(Baopin Yan)센터장, 세계적인 네트워킹 기업 VSNL의 디렉터 빅토르 헤다드(Victor Haddard)가 참가했다.

현재 네트워크 시스템은 유선에서 무선으로 발전하면서 많은 업무가 모바일 기반의 업무로 변화되고 있다. 그 중 대표적인 것이 모바일 오피스 시스템으로 중요 구성요소 중 하나인 커뮤니케이션은 구성원간의 단문 메시지 서비스(SMS)이다. 그러나 최근 무선 환경의 발전으로 단문 메시지 전송 방식이 SMS에서 모바일 메신저로 변화하고 있으나 그에 대처하지 못한 시스템들이 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 모바일 오피스 시스템에서 사용되고 있는 SMS를 대체하여 MQTT(Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) 프로토콜을 이용한 협업 메신저 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다.
