  • 본 논문에서는 로봇을 제작하고 응용함으로써 창의력을 키우고 실험과 제작을 통하여 협동심을 기르도록 하는 공학 과정을 설계하였다. 마이크로프로세서 및 무선 전송 장치 등의 차세대 유비쿼터스 개념을 통하여 이해하고 응용 및 활용하는 과정과, 반도체에 응용 제품인 컴퓨터에 대한 이론을 배우고 실습하는 과정으로 이루어져 있다. 청소년들에게 로봇을 통한 대화 공간 마련과 로봇 프로그램을 통해 과학 및 로봇분야의 인재 발굴에 기여하고 로봇에 대한 공감대 확산 및 과학 프로그램의 모델을 제시 하였다.

  • In this paper, we show how a curriculum using LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT robot based ROBOTC for undergraduate students has been developed, and we analyze the educational effect of the curriculum. The curriculum is composed of basic knowledge learning, practice with basic robots, practice with advanced robots, and creative design and implementation of robots. During the three year period since 2009, educational achievement has been analyzed by surveys for 6 classes, 94 students. According to the analysis, the curriculum has highly motivated the students and made them to achieve effectively our educational and academic goals. Also, we observe that the curriculum helped the students to improve their creativity and the problem solving skill, and that the students were autonomously and deeply involved in the homework and the term projects, which made them be very cooperative. Finally, the intensive practice with ROBOTC programming is shown to help students to improve their programming ability of C language.

Effect of forming groups according to the brain hemisphere preference on the cooperative problem solving learning achievement in the middle school technology (중학교 기술 교과의 협동적 문제해결학습에서 좌우뇌 선호도에 따른 소집단 구성이 학업성취도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of forming groups according to the brain hemisphere preference on the cooperative problem solving learning achievement in the middle school technology. The subjects of this study were 95 second grade boy students of a middle school in Daejeon and the measurement instrument of the left and right hemisphere preference is the Brain preference Indicator(BPI) which had been developed by Torrance et al(1977) and was adjusted by Ko, Younghee(1991). The academic achievement was analyzed on cognitive, psychomotor and affective domains. Derived results from this research are stated below: First, making groups according that the brain preference is more similar was more effective than making groups according to the high familiarity and the similarity of performance in the academic achievement of psychomotor and affective domains. Second, making groups according that the brain preference is more similar was more effective than making groups according that the brain preference is more diffrent for the academic achievement of affective domains on the cooperative problem solving learning in technology. Third, the academic achievement score of the right hemisphere preference group is higher than the score of the population in three domains. Also, the academic achievement score of the right hemisphere preference group is higher than the score of the left hemisphere preference group.

  • We incorporated cooperative learning focusing on the 'Crustal Deformation' in five classes of second grade students, at an all-girls' middle school of Gimje city. The groups of cooperative learning were composed of four members of students each, according to the heterogeneous level. We conducted a pretest on the students' preference before incorporating the cooperative learning. After ten weeks of cooperative school work, the students took a post test with the same questions as the pretest. The result of this method greatly impacted the change on the students' scientific preference. It means that the students showed a positive change in their awareness of and participation in science classes, compared to before. However it is difficult to distinguish the differences in their scientific attitude on the recognition about scientists and habits which make them think scientifically. This resulted from the short period of ten weeks which is not sufficient to carry out the study strategy effectively. Surveys of the students on cooperative learning indicates that the middle level students prefer this method unlike the higher or lower level students. we are convinced that they can learn from the students of higher level and are able to help the lower level with the interaction through cooperative learning. According to the result of the survey, the method has some weaknesses; it arouses the high noise levels and consequent disturbance due to verbal interaction and of conflicts due to disagreements when they discuss the process. On the contrary, advantages are developing the students's interest in science class, helping them to learn, creating positive participation in class, and fostering mutual collaboration with other students through cooperative learning.

  • 한국막학회서는 "먹는 물과 막분리공정" 이란 주제를 갖고 산학협동 심포지움을 갖고자 합니다. 물은 인간을 포함한 모든 생명체의 근원일 뿐만 아니라 유지하는데 매우 중요합니다. 그러나 인구증가와 산업발전에 따라 우리가 마시는 물까지도 위협받고 있는 상황에서 막분리공정은 폐수처리뿐만 아니라 정수처리 증 수처리 분야에서 널리 이용되고 있고 그 범외도 확대되고 있습니다. 이처럼, 분리막은 우리에게 상당한 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있으며, 다른 산업분야까지 적지않은 영향을 끼치고 있습니다. 본 심포지움에서는 물이 인체에 미치는 영향과 먹는 물 처리 공정인 막분리 기술을 소개하고자 한다. 따라서 국내 수질에 맞는 막분리 공정 기술을 알 수 있는 기회가 되기를 바랍니다. 되기를 바랍니다.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of cooperative learning applying Jigsaw II on learner's self-regulated learning ability, achievements, self-esteem & cooperation. 12 graders were assigned to experimental group(applying Jigsaw II treatment) & control group(applying traditional instructional treatment). Experimental group was trained to ask comprehension & thought-provoking questions on the material when in tutor role & to explain material to group members when acting as tutee. Tutorial sessions followed over 8-week treatment. As a results, Experimental group outperformed control group on ability to construct learner's self-regulated learning ability, achievements, self-esteem & cooperation both during their tutorial interaction & on written measures.

  • Recently, systematic research on the brain has been conducted and BCI(Brain -Computer Interface) technology applying electroencephalogram has been actively researched. Especially, serious game technology using BCI device has been the subject of interest. This paper develops a "twosome collaboration dance game," which is a serious game that takes advantage of NeuroSky's SDK(System Development Kit) and helps developing the spirit of team work and sociality based on attention and meditation, unlike existing single player games. We expect that this game will help to visualize brain functions of people and to cure ADHD children and the elderly people with MCI(Mild Cognitive Disorder). It is also expected to play a role of social catalyst to the game culture of the adolescent.

  • 이 논문은 한국어 Abstract Meaning Representation (AMR; 추상 의미 표상) 가이드라인 1.0*을 소개한다. AMR은 통합적인 의미 표상 체계로, 의미 분석(semantic parsing)의 주요 Task 중 하나로 자리매김하고 있다. 한국어 AMR 가이드라인은 현행 AMR 1.2.6을 심도 있게 분석하고 이를 한국어 상황에 맞게 로컬라이징한 것이다. 해당 가이드라인은 추후 한국어 AMR 말뭉치 구축(sembanking)에 대비하여 일관된 주석 세부 지침을 제공하기 위해 작성되었다.
