  • This study examined the effects of maternal grandmothers' positive parenting behavior, mothers' emotion regulation, and positive parenting behavior on children's emotion regulation. A total of 348 mothers of fourth and fifth graders responded to questionnaires, which included items related to their mothers' positive parenting behavior, their own emotion regulation and positive parenting behavior, and their children's emotion regulation. The data were analyzed by means of correlations and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). First, maternal grandmothers' positive parenting behavior significantly affected mothers' emotion regulation, but mothers' emotion regulation did not directly affect their children's emotion regulation. Second, maternal grandmothers' positive parenting behavior had an effect on mothers' positive parenting behavior, which led to a high level of their children's emotion regulation. Lastly, maternal grandmothers' positive parenting behavior indirectly influenced children's emotion regulation through mothers' emotion regulation and positive parenting behavior. This study emphasizes the intergenerational transmission of positive parenting, as well as a crucial influence of mothers' positive parenting behavior on children's emotion regulation.

Third, whereas environmental self-awareness did not show a significant moderation effect. Specifically, those who know well what they think and do and what they look like in interpersonal relationships perpetrate more cyberbullying when their schadenfreude was high. However, knowing well about what was happening around them was not related to the likelihood of schadenfreude that lead to cyberbullying. • The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between peer rejection and victimization among schoolchildren and to test whether conflict norms in the classroom moderated this relationship. The analysis used the third year data derived from ClassNet research (Park, et al., 2017) supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea. The sample comprised fourth-grade through sixth-grade students in 52 classrooms of 7 elementary schools in South Korea (N = 1194). A series of multi-level analyses were performed to fulfill the study's purpose using variables obtained by peer nomination, such as social rejection, victimization, bullying perpetration, and teacher-student conflict. The results found that boys experienced more victimization than girls and peer rejection significantly increased victimization. Furthermore, conflict norms in the classroom moderated the relationship between peer rejection and victimization. Peer rejection significantly increased the extent of victimization in classrooms with relatively high levels of conflict norms. The study concludes with a discussion on the significance of conflict norms and the educational implications of the results with a focus on ways that teachers can facilitate healthier classroom environments.

  • The purpose of this paper is twofold: (1) to investigate how the online communities of restaurants affect the members and create the value by exploring some desirable member behaviors related to the membership, and (2) to examine the possible moderating effect of topic involvement on a member behavior paradigm. The sense of membership was proposed as a prerequisite determinant of two basic member behavior (i.e., purchase-related behavior and group-related behavior). Results of this study confirmed that the level of a member's sense of membership had a positive effect on his/her member behavior. The topic involvement levels of a member was further revealed to strengthen the magnitudes of the proposed relationships. Highly involved members were more likely to engage in both purchase-related behavior and group-related behavior when they were attached to their communities.

  • This paper attempted to empirically analyze whether or not ethical behavior at the individual level has a positive effect on both companies and employees. In addition, based on the social exchange theory, a hypothesis was established that perceived supervisory support has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between ethical behavior, job satisfaction, and job performance. As a result of analyzing a questionnaire given to 238 sales employees, It was first verified that ethical behavior by sales staff had a positive effect on job satisfaction and performance, as expected in the hypothesis. Second, the moderating effect of perceived supervisory support was significant only in the relationship between the ethical behavior of the salesperson and job performance. On the other hand, the moderating effect of perceived supervisory support on the relationship between ethical behavior and job satisfaction was not verified. Based on the results of this study, the implications and future directions of study are presented.
