A Study on the Effectiveness Analysis of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Class in Aviation Service Major (한국항공운항학회 항공서비스전공 문제기반학습 적용 교과목의 학습 효과성 분석에 관한 연구 )

  • This study aimed to analyze the class effect of subjects to which Problem-Based Learning is applied to college students majoring in aviation service at university in Chungcheong. And we derive implications for continuously operating Problem-Based Learning classes. For the study, <Service Manners and Practice>, <Theory of Air Reservation Operation & Practice>, and <Introduction to In-flight Food & Beverage> were selected among the courses opened in the first semester of 2022. This study analyzes changes in communication competence, interpersonal skills, self-directed learning skills, higher-order thinking skills, information technology application skills, and problem-solving skills reflecting the core competencies of the universities to which the study students belonged. First, we analyzed the changes in communication competence, interpersonal skills, self-directed learning skills, higher-order thinking skills, information technology application skills, and problem-solving skills before and after classes by reflecting on the core competencies of the universities to which the study students belonged. As a result, all item except for interpersonal skills were improved. In addition, a qualitative analysis was conducted on the degree of learning improvement based on the contents of the reflection journal written during learning precess. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that it is effective for learning abilities such as communication, interpersonal relationships, self-directed learning skills, utilization of information, and problem-solving.

  • In the ever competitive world airline industry, Korean Air has been seeking on the one hand to streamline its operations through cost control and at the same time to boost customer loyalty and retention through a strong service differentiation strategy. As part of their service differentiation strategy, Korean Air has been actively engaging in culture marketing campaign. Their main activity involves entering into an alliance with the three leading museums of the world. Beginning with the Luvre of France, Korean Air supported the development of voice narration system that included the Korean language. This case describes the efforts of Korean Air to go beyond simply being a company that transports people and packages, to a global leading carrier that links the cities, cultures, and arts of the world. In the process, the case introduces the strategies and detailed actions behind Korean Air's culture marketing efforts.

  • Ago the passenger who using a wheelchair was denied boarding from the airline. The ACT ON THE PROHIBITION OF DISCRIMINATION AGAINST DISABLED PERSONS prohibits discriminatory treatment of persons with disabilities in transportation. But there are situations that limits the movement on persons with reduced mobility. The international community promote to protect disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility against discrimination and to provide them with assistance when travelling by air. According to news report, the governing Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has established new global core principles on air transport consumer protection. The principles cover three phases of a customer's experience: before, during and after travel, and will now be considered by ICAO's 191 Member States when they develop or review their applicable national regimes. The international community are recognizing that passengers can benefit from a competitive air transport sector, which offers more choice in fare-service trade-offs and which may encourage carriers to improve their offerings, passengers, including those with disabilities, can also benefit from consumer protection regimes. In accordance with these we will also be provided to regulations that can prevent and protect the air passenger. In this paper analyze the regulations of the international air passenger rights, point out the lack of policy.

  • Ongoing SWIM(System Wide Information Management) with the United States and European countries as the center is a part of the ASBU(Aviation System Block Upgrade) program improved performance of aeronautical data system in the International Civil Aviation Organization and a core technology of Integrated Aeronautical Data Management Network to elevate service through digitally aeronautical information management. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze SWIM architecture and network applied the concept of SOA(Service Oriented Architecture), and propose methods of implementation transforming applications operating established legacy aeronautical data system into integrated aeronautical data management network through adapter technology. This will allow development of middleware and application suitable for the next generation infrastructure network environment for efficient ATM(Air Traffic Management)and provide timely required information for users.

  • As the service industry develops, service quality, customer satisfaction, and human resource management are considered priorities in modern management to maintain a company's growth. Therefore, understanding the strategic importance of service marketing is an essential task for modern companies. This study examined the relationship between the internal service quality of employees in the organization and customer orientation through organizational effectiveness. In the case of an airline, a service can be defined as an interaction between an external customer and an internal customer service provider. This interaction significantly affects the behavior and attitude of the employees. Based on the results, empowerment has a significant influence on the internal service quality, but it has no significant effect on customer orientation. As the relationship between department and employees improved, the more confident staff showed an improved ability to perform their work. Therefore, it is important that the organizational structure and the reporting system are as concise and clear as possible to allow employees to accurately recognize the authorities and responsibilities assigned to them and have autonomy and discretion in the framework.

아리안스페이스사의 새로운 발사체 ; 소유즈와 베가

  • 지난 수년간 중소형 발사체의 부재로 중소형 저궤도 및 정지궤도 위성 발사 시장에서 어려움을 겪어왔던 유럽의 발사 서비스 관련 업체들은 이제 러시아의 소유즈와 새로운 중소형 저궤도 위성 발사체 베가를 도입하여 기존의 아리안-5 발사체로는 지원하기 힘든 중소형 위성 발사 서비스 부문을 집중 육성하려 하고 있다. 기아나 우주센터에서의 소유즈의 발사와 신형 고체로켓 베가의 개발은 2010년 이후를 겨냥한 유럽 발사체 분야의 미래 발전 계획의 한 부분이며, 이러한 계획을 구체화하여 실현하고 있는 기업이 프랑스의 아리안스 페이스사이다. 본 논고에서는 두 발사체 소유즈와 베가의 간략한 역사와 성능을 소개하였다.

  • 항공편과 승객의 흐름을 효율적으로 처리하기 위한 디지털 시스템에 대한 의존도 증가와 승객용 기내 와이파이 서비스 등으로 인해 민간항공의 사이버 보안 취약성은 매년 증가하고 있는데 비해 공항에 대한 무장 공격, 항공기에 폭발물 설치 및 납치와 같은 전통적인 테러에 맞춰 마련된 항공보안 관련 국제협약은 사이버 위협에 직접적으로 적용하기 어렵다는 문제를 갖고 있다. 본 연구는 민간항공에 대한 사이버 공격의 예방 및 기소와 관련된 국제협약의 적정성을 검토한 후, 사이버 위협 대응을 위한 기존 국제협약 체계, 잠재적 차이 해석 등을 중점적으로 분석하여 민간항공의 안전을 위협하는 불법방해행위로부터 중요정보 및 시스템을 보호하는 항공 사이버 보안 국제표준 마련 및 이행 촉진을 강조하고자 한다.

  • 천리안 위성은 우리나라 최초의 정지궤도 복합 지구관측 위성으로 기상관측, 해양관측과 통신서비스 임무를 수행하는 중대형위성으로 2011년 6월 27일에 성공적으로 발사되어 약 6개월간의 시험운영기간을 거쳐 현재는 실시간 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 천리안 위성은 한국항공우주연구원(KARI) 총괄 주관하에 2003년 9월 개발을 시작으로 프랑스의 EADS-Astrium과 공동 개발되었다. 천리안 위성은 이미 EADS-Astrium에 의해 통신 위성 본체 플랫폼으로 우주 인증된 Eurostar3000(이하 E3000) 플랫폼을 근간으로 제작되었다. 본 논문에서는 천리안 위성 플랫폼 탑재컴퓨터에 탑재되어 위성체 전반을 운영하는 비행소프트웨어의 구성 및 기능에 대해 기술한다. 또한 기존의 EADS-Astrium사의 E3000 비행소프트웨어 생산라인을 바탕으로 천리안 위성 비행소프트웨어를 개발하기 위한 개발 절차 형상을 소개한다. 본 논문에서 기술한 재생산을 위한 개발 절차에 대한 접근 방법은 위성 임베디드 소프트웨어 시스템과 같은 mission critical 시스템이면서 이미 검증된 소프트웨어를 재사용하고 사용자의 요구사항을 만족시키기 위해 일부 기능을 변경 및 추가 개발하여 통합된 소프트웨어를 생산해야하는 소프트웨어 개발체계의 실질적인 한 예를 보여주고 있다.

A Study on Passengers' Acceptance of Untact Technology Services at Incheon Airport: Application Innovative Expansion Theory and Technology Acceptance Model (인천공항 이용객의 언택트기술 서비스 수용에 관한 연구: 혁신확산이론과 기술수용모델의 적용)

  • This study was conducted to explain airport users' acceptance intention for untact smart devices being introduced at Incheon Airport. Based on the technology acceptance model, perceived usefulness and ease of use influenced attitudes and intention to use. It was verified whether it was affecting the effect. In addition, variables proposed in innovation diffusion theory were selected to verify exogenous variables that affect perceived usefulness and ease of use, which serve as key independent variables in the technology acceptance model. Research results show that perceived usefulness has a high level of positive influence on attitude, whereas perceived ease of use has a low influence and does not show a statistically significant influence. In addition, it was confirmed that most variables of the innovation diffusion theory had no effect on usefulness and ease of use. This means that the key variable in the spread and use of untact smart devices at airports is the perception of usefulness, which means that resistance to accepting new technology is not high.

Study on Service Internship Participation Determinant Contents of Undergraduate Students to Influence Their Career (대학생 진로에 영향을 미치는 서비스 인턴십 참여결정 콘텐츠 요인 분석)

  • This study aimed to analyze service internship participation determinant contents of undergraduate students who major in airline service to influence their career. To accomplish this purpose, data collected from 211 students were analysed using logistic regression analysis. Personal characteristic, big 5character factors, social support were analysed as service internship determinant contents. The research results showed grade, GPA, broad experience, flight experience among personal characteristics and extraversion among big 5factors personality as significant service internship determinant contents of students. Also, the research results showed career preparation, career decision making self-efficacy and social support as non-significant service internship determinants of students. It was concluded that active participation with service internship is imperative for undergraduate students in airline service major to enhance career competence upon graduation.
