A Study of Real-Time SHE-PWM Pattern Using Ordered Orthogonal Function (직교함수를 이용한 실시간 SHE-PWM 패턴 형성에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, to eliminate some selected harmonics, we implement PWM inverter which can be able to control in real-time. Using walsh function, which is one of the ordered orthogonal functions, we propose a new method to calculate firing angles, and implement logic circuits which can be calculate firing angles in real-time and be applicable to 1- and 3-phase circuits. Finally, using simulation circuits which accept the outputs obtained from the implemented logic circuits as the inputs, we confirmed the characteristics in steady state of the proposed method for PWM inverter.

  • Differentiation with integration is an important subject which is widely applied in mathematics, natural science, and engineering. Derivative is an important concept of differentiation. But students don't understand its concept well and concentrate on acquiring only the skill to solve the standardized calculus problem. So they are poor at understanding of the concept of differentiation. In this study, after making a survey of differentiation on college students, we try to analyze errors which appeared in solving differentiation problem and investigate mathematics process of limiting process inherent in the derivative and historical development about derivative. Thus, we try to analyze the understanding of differentiation and present the results about this.

  • 현재, 빛을 이용한 화학 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있고 이러한 연구는 양자역학을 기반으로 화학에서 상당히 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있다. 또한 컴퓨터의 발전에 따라 여러 계산 모델들이 개발되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 회전파 근사(Rotating Wave Approximation, RWA)를 통해 라비 진동을 이론적으로 확인하고, 가장 간단한 연속파 레이저와 두 에너지 준위에서 시작하여 레이저 펄스와 두 에너지 준위, 레이저 펄스와 이원자분자인 $Na_2$ 분자의 두 전자에너지 퍼텐셜 준위, 그리고 실제 시간 밀도 범함수 이론(Real-Time Time Dependent Density Functional Theory, RT-TDDFT)이란 제일원리계산을 통해 연속파 레이저와 $H_2$ 분자와 $C_2H_4$ 분자에서까지 관찰하였다. 이 연구를 통해 공명 전이의 경우 펄스의 면적이 ${\pi}$의 홀수 배일 때 완전한 입자수 전이가 일어나는 펄스 면적 정리를 확인할 수 있었고, 이원자분자인 $Na_2$의 경우엔 펄스의 지속시간도 입자수 전이에 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였다. 더 나아가 $H_2$ 분자와 $C_2H_4$ 분자에서는 RT-TDDFT 계산을 통해 라비 진동을 확인할 수 있었고, 두 종류의 기저함수간의 대조를 통해 기저함수 선택의 중요성을 알아보았고, 가장 중요하게는 레이저를 잘 조작하면 입자를 원하는 상태로 들뜨게 할 수 있다는 것이란 결론을 얻게 되었다.

Buckling analyses of flat plates through two-element plate concept by using finite element method (유한요소법을 이용한 분할판 개념하의 평판 좌굴해석)

  • Two-element plate concept is incorporated into the buckling problem in order to simplify the nonlinear distribution of stress through the thickness of plate. Finite element formulations and programs based upon the Reissner functional and the modified Reissner functional using two-element plate concept are developed for buckling analysis of plates under axial compression. The two programs have been applied to obtain the linear elastic buckling behavior of axially compressed flat plates. Excellent agreement of linear elastic-solution results with exact or approximate solutions of other authors for the same boundary conditions proves the validity of the finite element method using two-element plate theory.

  • A family of variational principles governing the dynamics of laminated plate has been derived using a variationally consistent shear deformable discrete laminated plate theory with particular reference to finite element procedures. The theoretical basis for the derivation is Sandhu's generalized procedure for the variational formulation of linear coupled boundary value problem. As the bilinear mapping to write the operator matrix of the field equations in self-adjoint form, convolution product was employed. Boundary conditions, initial conditions and probable internal discontinuity were explicitly included in the governing functionals. Some interesting extensions and specializations of the general variational principle were presented, which can provide many different finite element formulations for the problem.

  • This paper introduces the method how to measure the thrust in impulse facility. In a Facility having such a short duration time of steady flow, there's no time to reach a steady state of the forces acting on model so that the test model vibrates until the end of the flow. The forces exerted on an engine exist with vibration so that the usual force balance can not be used. SWFB(Stress Wave Force Balance) technique is utilized in a shock tunnel to get the thrust. As an example, a model force balance has been calculated its strain against impulse force by using FEM(Finite Element Method). A transfer function between the impulse force and strain has been obtained by the way of de-convolution.

  • 배터리를 사용하는 하이브리드 시스템의 확장으로 인하여 2차 전지를 활용할 수 있는 양방향 컨버터의 사용이 증가하고 이에 대한 연구의 필요성 또한 증가하고 있다. 기존 비절연형 단방향 컨버터는 인덕터의 전류와 부하단 캐패시터의 전압을 변수로 지정하고 고정 전원과 고정부하를 대입하여 모델링에 적용했지만, 실제 사용되는 양방향 컨버터의 동작과는 차이가 있다. 또한 이상적인 전원과는 달리 배터리의 단자전압은 SOC 및 충방전 상태에 따라 전압 변동이 일어나고 컨버터의 스위칭 동작에 의해 전압 리플이 발생하기 때문에 제어기를 설계하기 위해서는 이를 반영하여 해석하는 것이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 비절연형 양방향 컨버터의 양쪽에 부착된 캐패시터가 모두 변수로 적용된 전달함수와 이를 이용하여 설계된 제어기를 제안한다. 컨버터 모델링에 State-Space Averaging 방법을 사용하여 양방향 컨버터의 소신호 분석을 하였고, 충전 모드와 방전 모드 일때 전달함수를 각각 구하였다. 앞서 구한 전달함수를 이용하여 pole/zero 분석을 통해 PI 제어기 설계를 하였고, 주파수 분석을 통해 안정성을 확인하였다.

A New Constant Modulus Algorithm based on Minimum Euclidian Distance Criterion for Blind Channel Equalization (블라인드 등화에서 유클리드 거리 최소화에 근거한 새로운 CMA 알고리듬)

  • In this paper, a minimum Euclidian distance criterion between error PDF and Dirac delta function is introduced and a constant modulus type blind equalizer algorithm based on the criterion is proposed. The proposed algorithm using constant modulus error in place of actual error term of the criterion has superior convergence and steady state MSE performance, and the error signal of the proposed algorithm exhibits more concentrated density function in blind equalization environments. Simulation results indicate that the proposed method can be a reliable candidate for blind equalizer algorithms for multipoint communications.

  • In the process of liquid rocket engine design, obtaining method of the dynamic characteristics of engine should be emphasized typically to determine the control logic and algorithms of the throttle valves in the propellant feed pipeline. However, determining the dynamic characteristics of an engine through the autonomous test is very hard and laborious, so that the numerical approach is prevailing. In this study, using the previously developed dynamic analysis model of the engine around the steady state, we introduced a disturbance to this model, and obtained the dynamic response in the time domain. And by applying the well-known Levy method to this temporal response, we could deduce the transfer function of that system that can give us various information of engine and can be manipulated to design the control system.

  • Digital signature algorithms such as RSA and ECDSA are threatened by the development of quantum computer technology, which is attracting attention as a future technology. Alternatively, various post-quantum algorithms such as grid-based, multivariate-based, code-based, and hash-based are being studied. Among them, the hash-based is a fast and quantitative security level that can be calculated and its safety has been proven. So it is receiving a lot of attention. In this paper, we examine various hash-based digital signature algorithms that have been proposed so far, and analyze their features and their strengths and weaknesses. In addition, we emphasize the importance of reducing the size of the signature in order for the hash-based signature algorithm to be practically used.
