A study on Career decision-making patterns based on Sense of Values of undergraduate students majoring in Cosmetology (미용전공대학생의 가치관에 따른 진로의사결정유형에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to offer data for developing a guide that can help cosmetology majors with career decision-making and career guidance by identifying their values and career paths and analyzing the correlation between the two. This study was conducted on 474 college students with cosmetology-related majors nationwide. First, their values had an effect on their career decision-making. Second, there were differences in their values and career decision-making depending on their concentrations. According to the research, the values of cosmetology majors were divided by type and their correlation with career decision-making was analyzed. The results will be helpful for cosmetology students to explore and decide upon their careers if professors comprehend students' individual tendencies, explain the characteristics of cosmetology-related jobs, and provide them the chances to have practical work experience in the field, based on the findings of this study.

Consumer's Behaviors in the Beauty Industry Omnichannel (미용산업의 옴니채널과 소비자행동)

  • This research is a research on the convergence of beauty marketing businesses to find out the impact of omnichannel in the beauty industry on consumer behavior. The target was 299 copies of the self-answer questionnaire for male and female in their 20s-30s living in Seoul, using the SPSS21.0 program to analyze frequency, explore factors, correlation, and multiple regression analysis. According to the study, Omnichannels were related to consumer behavior, and the sub factors of Omni channels could be divided into exposure, benefits, review, reservation, and convenience. All sub-elements of Omni channels, except exposure, have a positive impact on customer satisfaction during consumer behavior, and all sub-elements of Omni channels have a positive impact on reuse intent during consumer behavior. Customer satisfaction has been shown to have a positive impact on reuse intentions. Therefore, it will provide good feedback for revitalizing the beauty industry. Therefore, research on omnichannel marketing strategies and activation of beauty platform are needed.

  • Excessive work intensity and stress from customers visiting nail salons due to the increase in the frequency of visits and treatments to nail salons of modern people are negatively affecting the job psychology of nail salons. Accordingly, according to the need to prepare realistic and specific measures to increase job efficacy and job satisfaction through nail treatment techniques of nail salons, the perceived job efficacy and job This study was conducted based on the research model and hypothesis for satisfaction. As a result of the study, it was found that the nail gradation technique induces the highest job efficacy of nail polishers, and it was found that the more gel manicure techniques were applied, the higher the job satisfaction of nail polishers was. Through this study, it is expected that the complex application between various nail techniques will be possible and the coordinates of the job psychology of nail beauticians will be presented, and at the same time, it will serve as basic data for improving the work environment and developing new nail treatment techniques.

A Study on the Demographic Characteristics of Lifestyle Cluster Types and the Characteristics of the Use of Hair Salons (라이프스타일 군집유형에 따른 인구통계학적 특성과 미용실이용 특성에 대한 연구)

  • This study was conducted on men and women in their teens and 50s living in Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggi-do to find out the relevance between demographic characteristics of lifestyle clusters and the characteristics of beauty salon use. To analyze the data of a total of 522 people collected, statistical processing was performed with analysis of frequency, analysis of factor, analysis of reliability, analysis of cluster, analysis of variance and analysis of cross. As a result, lifestyle group types were classified as fashion and social focus types, family-oriented types, and family-free types. These types were highly related to age, final education, and marital status among demographic characteristics, and were also found to be highly relevant to the characteristics of beauty salon use, such as beauty salon location and frequently used beauty services. The results of this study are thought to be the basic data that can be used for beauty salon marketing.

The effect of problem-based learning application on learners' problem-solving ability and cooperative self-efficacy in esthetic major subjects (피부미용 전공 교과에서의 문제중심학습(PBL) 적용이 학습자의 문제해결 능력과 협력적 자기효능감에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the learning effect of applying problem-based learning in esthetic major education at universities and to provide basic data for developing teaching and learning methods that can strengthen competitiveness in esthetic education. Therefore, this study conducted an empirical educational effect analysis by applying PBL classes to 15 students taking oriental therapy, a esthetic major course opened at H University. As a result, the average value of learners' problem-solving ability and cooperative self-efficacy increased after participating in PBL classes, and the effectiveness of PBL teaching and learning methods was confirmed, suggesting effective teaching and learning methods to increase learners' problem-solving ability and cooperative self-efficacy in the field of esthetic.

The Influence of Beauty Academies' Relationship Marketing on Quality of Educational Services and Learners' Relationship Commitment (미용학원의 관계마케팅이 교육서비스 품질 및 학습자 관계몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • This study attempted to investigate the influence of relationship marketing on the quality of educational services and learners' relationship commitment, and the goals are to provide basic data needed to develop business management strategies and promote the growth of beauty education industry. For this, a questionnaire survey was performed against the students from beauty academies in Yeongnam region, and a total of 503 copies were used for final analysis. The study results found the followings: First, there were differences by each factor among relationship marketing, quality of educational services and learners' relationship commitment. Second, relationship marketing revealed a statistically significant effect on the quality of educational services. Third, relationship marketing showed a significant influence on learners' relationship commitment. Fourth, the quality of educational services showed a significant effect on learners' relationship commitment. It is anticipated that the study results would be available as basic data needed for beauty academies to develop business management strategies and promote the growth of beauty academy industry.

뷰티아카데미 교육생들의 관계효익이 뷰티아카데미의 브랜드이미지와 신뢰에 미치는 영향

  • 뷰티산업은 2000년대 초반 이후 소득수준의 향상과 개성 표현, 웰빙 등 새로운 라이프 스타일에 부합하여 급속한 성장을 이루어 왔다. 뷰티산업은 헤어미용, 피부미용, 네일아트, 메이크업 등 서비스업과 관련된 미용기기, 용품 등 제조업을 포괄한다. K팝의 영향으로 이미용, 피부미용, 네일, 메이크업 등 K뷰티 서비스에 대한 해외 소비자들의 수요 역시 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 이에 대응하여 뷰티 서비스 전문가를 양성하기 위한 전문 교육기관 역시 꾸준히 증가하고 있으나 교육생들의 뷰티아카데미 선택 기준에 대한 연구는 부족한 편이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 뷰티아카데미 수강생들이 느끼는 관계효익을 심리적 효익, 사회적 효익, 경제적 효익, 고객화 효익으로 구분하여 측정하고 이러한 관계효익이 뷰티아카데미에 대한 교육생들의 브랜드 이미지와 신뢰도 형성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 각각 분석한 다음 뷰티 아카데미 교육생들의 추천의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 한다. 이와 같은 연구를 통해 뷰터 아카데미 운영에 필요한 시사점을 도출하여 제시하고자 한다.

  • Ultrasonic therapy has received great attention in the field of cosmetics related to the treatment of skin thickening because of its fast recovery and safety. In this study, an output circuit of a high intensity focused ultrasound system was developed for the treatment of beauty. To verify the applicability of the high intensity focused ultrasound system to the cosmetic treatment field, we measured and analyzed the 3D ultrasound intensity energy using a hydrophone. And high-intensity focused ultrasound devices were found to be useful for cosmetic treatment.

  • The importance of the factors that influence on the sales from the owners of franchise beauty salons has been analized through AHP method. The result shows that the critical factors are workers, location, franchise brand power, facilities and price in turn. The importance of the low level shows that facilities, famous staffs, the appearance of workers, franchise brand's populality in turn.

  • In recent years, awareness of talent donation has been increasing as a way to lead a happy life with others. The purpose of this study is to investigate participation characteristics such as participation difficulties, participation period, service target, participation field, participation style, participation motive of beauty talented volunteers. This survey responded to 701 beauty talent volunteers. Participation difficulties included lack of skills and capability, lack of social awareness, and lack of spare time. Participation characteristics varied according to gender, age, education, occupation, monthly income, etc. Based on the results of these researches, the suggestions for activation for donating beauty talents were presented.
