  • This study is prepared to provide fundamental data for constructing learning system to reinforce learning facilitation and improve learning effect for adult college students by testing the medium effect of learning motivation in the relation of social support, service quality of university education, and learning engagement. For this objective, A survey was conducted with 573 adult college students attending 2-to-3-year colleges and universities located in Daegu metropolitan City and Gyeongsangbuk-do. The analyzed research results are as follows. First, learning motivation had partial medium effect in the relation of social support and learning engagement. Second, learning motivation seemed to have complete medium effect in the relation of service quality of university education and learning engagement. The above research results suggest that continuous development and efforts are needed to establish various support systems and improve educational services in order to increase adult college students' immersion in learning.

  • This study analyzed the effects of a Micro-learning content-based extracurricular program among university students based on their general characteristics. A survey was conducted on 600 students affiliated with G University, a major national university. Learning immersion and learning motivation were used as the key indicators for measuring the learning effects. Cronbach's α coefficient analysis was performed to validate the reliability of the learning effect measurement tool. Independent sample t-tests were utilized to analyze differences in learning immersion and learning motivation based on gender and major disciplines. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was employed to measure differences in learning immersion and learning motivation according to academic year. According to the research findings, gender and academic year did not significantly influence participation in the Micro-learning content-based program. However, differences in learning immersion and learning motivation were observed depending on the major discipline. Based on this, it is suggested that future programs should provide suitable environments and stimuli based on the students' major disciplines.

  • This study is a descriptive investigative study to correlate of learning flow, self-directedness, self-regulated learning ability and learning achievement of nursing students who in non-face-to-face learning environment. The subjects of the study were 179 nursing college students based in B, G city, who collected data from September to October 2021. The data analysis used the SPSS 24.0 program and performed descriptive statistics and correlation analysis. As a result of the study, the average learning flow was 38.54±7.87 points, self-directedness was 134.83±19.81 points, self-regulated learning ability was 42.93±5.98 points and learning achievement was 15.03±2.56 points. The relationships among learning flow, self-directedness, self-regulated learning ability, and learning achievement showed significant positive correlations. Therefore, strategies to increase the learning achievement of nursing college students in a non-face-to-face environment, and environmental improvement and institutional support to increase learning flow are needed.

  • The purpose of this study is to reveal the variables that affect learning immersion, in real-time non-face-to-face classes. To this end, a survey was conducted from November 22, 2021 to December 5, 2021 for students with experience in zoom classes. Excluding incorrect questionnaire, 117 copies were analyzed using a structural equation model. The results show that 'interest' and 'interaction level' influenced 'learning immersion', and 'learning immersion' had a positive effect on 'learning outcome'. The contribution of this study is that it empirically analyzed variables affecting learning immersion in real-time non-face-to-face classes. In the follow-up study, it is necessary to verify variables that affect learning immersion in various platforms, including zoom.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of flow experience and learning competency on learning satisfaction after virtual simulation-based nursing practice education for the elderly. The subjects of this study were 72 nursing students and data were collected through online surveys from April 2 to May 7, 2021. Data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 24.0 program by descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation, multiple regression analysis. As a result of the study, the learning satisfaction of nursing students after virtual simulation education showed a significant positive correlation with flow experience (r=.656, p<.001) and learning competency (r=.672, p<.001). The most influential factors on learning satisfaction were learning competency (𝛽=.459, p<.001) and flow experience (𝛽=.413, p<.001), and the explanatory power of the model was 60.9%. Therefore, in order to improve learning satisfaction after virtual simulation education, it is suggested to develop ways to promote flow experience in practice and improve individual learning capabilities.

  • The current study explored relationships of learned helplessness, depression, organizational commitment and job engagement. We investigated the mediating effects of depression between learned helplessness and organizational commitment and between learned helplessness and job engagement. Also, this study examined the moderating effects of calling between depression and organizational commitment and between depression and job engagement. we collected data from 310 military officers working at ROK Air Force air wing located at Gyeonggi-do. The results showed that depression mediated between learned helplessness and organizational commitment and between learned helplessness and job engagement, respectively. The results showed that calling moderated organizational commitment, job engagement. In the discussion section, we discussed about theoretical and practical implications of this study.

  • This study aims to determine whether learning motivation and grit mediate in the relationship between emotional intelligence and learning engagement among Chinese high school students. Data were collected through a survey targeting 304 high school students purposively sampled from a high school in China. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS PC+ Win ver. 25.0 and SPSS PROCESS macro ver. 4.2. The statistical methods applied were frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and dual mediation effect analysis. The conclusion of the study is as follows. First, emotional intelligence, learning motivation, grit, and learning engagement all showed significant positive correlations. Second, high school students' learning motivation and grit double-mediated in the relationship between emotional intelligence and learning engagement. Based on these results, this study proposed a plan to improve high school students' academic engagement by utilizing not only emotional intelligence but also learning motivation and grit.
