Effects of Critical Thinking Disposition and Problem Solving Ability on Learning Behavior of Dental Hygiene Students (치위생과 재학생의 학습태도에 대한 비판적 사고성향과 문제해결능력의 효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify learning attitudes, problem-solving skills, critical thinking tendencies, and the effects on learning attitudes for dental hygienist. It was. The data analysis method analyzed the general characteristics of the subjects, and the learning attitude, critical thinking disposition, and problem solving ability were examined with the mean, standard deviation, and correlation between each variable. t-test, ANOVA, and hierarchical regression analysis were used for the study attitude, critical thinking tendency, and problem solving ability according to the general characteristics of the study subjects. As a result of this study, grades were the most influential variables, and self-confidence and skepticism influenced learning attitudes as a sub-factor of critical thinking. In this study, the first grade of dental hygiene and enrolled students was the highest. Development of programs to effectively raise critical thinking tendency and problem solving ability for first graders, and research on characteristics of learners, major satisfaction, adaptation to college life, problem-based learning and preceptorship should be continuously conducted.   • The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of Problem-Based Learning on Student's Creativity Ability in Middle School Science Class. The experimental group had Problem-Based Learning classes for six weeks and control group had traditional inquiry instruction for the same period. The results of this study presents that Problem-Based Learning is significantly effective for the improvement of creative skills test and creative tendencies. And PBL group student's had positive thinking for PBL. It's not easy to generalize these results because of many different variables. but the results suggests that teachers should make an effort to improve student's creativity applying Problem-Based Learning. And it's necessary to develop many kinds of problems and teacher's instruction method to enrich creativity in the process of Problem-Based Learning.

  • In the information and knowledge-based society, problem-solving ability to utilize information and to cope with various problem situations is considered to be much more important than simply memorized knowledge. On the basis of such needs of the current society, various studies were conducted focusing on the merits of e-learning to create learning environments that can help students acquire basic knowledge and develop problem-solving abilities. This study attempted to design and develop a web-based learning environment for problem-solving applying cognitive apprenticeship that can help students develop their thinking skills and problem-solving strategies. The results of this study can be utilized as a method to connect traditional classrooms to e-Learning.

  • In the 21stcentury, teachers must welcome new technology to ensure the best learning in virtual classrooms, aside from the physical classroom. Google Classroom provides a vital chance to promote blended learning and professional development. The purpose of this study is to specify the procedures in problem design when employing blended problem-based learning (BPBL) and to design problems for learning the contents of the subject. The design of problems is crucial for effective BPBL. The underlying theory of BPBL is that learning is most effectively initiated and facilitated by posing and solving real-life problems that interest the learner, because working on such problems makes learning meaningful and motivates students. Ineffective problem-based learning (PBL) could affect students when acquiring sufficient domain knowledge, activating appropriate prior knowledge, and properly directing their own learning. The procedures for designing good problems are composed of the selection of educational content, figuring out the learner's characteristics, finding problems, setting up roles and situations, and writing down problems. Using these procedures, we designed five integration problems covering the contents of management subjects. Planned management subjects based on BPBL in a Mongolian university focuses on the process of designing problems.

  • Most questions made for remote examinations on web-based education system use methods of making questions using fixed questions or randomly using item pools or automatically using degree of difficulty. Particularly, automatically selection methods using degree of difficulty is the kernel of a question that objectivity of examination questions by degree of difficulty adjustment based result of examination. This paper is use automatically selection methods for examination on web-based education system. Therefore we present new algorithms of mediateness degree of difficulty as regards education ability of students for adjust the degree of difficulty. We identified this algorithms is more effective as compared with previously algorithms on web-based education system

  • The purpose of this study attempted to investigate academic achievement and cooperative ability as problem-based learning to strengthen communication in Spanish courses. 70 learners taking Spanish at A University from September to December, 2021 were divided into an experimental and a control class to examine their academic achievement and cooperate ability. Academic achievement was not statistically significant, but the sub-area of communication was significant as 0.031 (*p<.05) and the cooperative ability of the experimental group, the average was increased, but it was not statistically significant. Based on this study, continuous follow-up research to develop teaching methods and teaching and learning models suitable for strengthening Spanish communication through various learner-centered convergence teaching methods will contribute to fostering talent desired by the 21st century.

  • Educational evaluation is not the work to rank learners hierarchically, but the thing to increase the educational effectiveness by solving a learner's problem and improving the education process from the proper evaluation. The conventional evaluation systems have measured a learner's recognition level by dichotomy. Although they support the evaluation depending on a learner's academic ability and supply the feedback for wrong selection, it is insufficient to take out study-motive and give the establishment for a guidance point of learning. In this paper, we propose the web-based individual adaptive testing system in considering partial score for a learner. Our system are effective to estimate the ability of learner by considering partial score in detail and offer an feedback study from the self-diagnosis function for a learning results.

  • 오늘날 SW 중심사회에서 컴퓨팅 사고력은 꼭 필요한 핵심역량으로 중요성이 강조되고 있으며, 이에 따라 2015 개정 교육과정에서는 소프트웨어(SW) 교육, 정보 교육을 강화하였다. 온라인 채점 시스템은 학생들이 문제해결 소스코드를 제출하면 이를 평가하고, 적절한 피드백을 제공하므로 자기주도적인 문제해결학습 경험과 프로그래밍 스킬을 향상시키는데 도움을 줄 수 있어 사용이 확대되고 있다. 그러나 채점시스템에 탑재된 문제들은 반구조화된 형태로 되어 있어 학생들이 컴퓨팅 사고단계 중 1단계인 문제공식화(추상화) 단계를 충분히 연습하지 못할 가능성이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이를 보완한 문제해결학습 학습모형을 제안하고, 논의한다.

  • 최근 자연어 처리 분야에서 기계학습 독해 관련 연구가 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 그 중에서 한국어 기계독해 학습을 통해 문제풀이에 적용한 사례를 찾아보기 힘들었다. 기존 연구에서도 수능 영어와 수능 수학 문제를 인공지능(AI) 모델을 활용하여 문제풀이에 적용했던 사례는 있었지만, 수능 국어에 이를 적용하였던 사례는 존재하지 않았다. 또한, 수능 영어와 수능 수학 문제를 AI 문제풀이를 통해 도출한 결괏값이 각각 12점, 16점으로 객관식이라는 수능의 특수성을 고려했을 때 기대에 못 미치는 결과를 나타냈다. 이에 본 논문은 한국어 기계독해 데이터셋을 트랜스포머(Transformer) 기반 모델에 학습하여 수능 국어 문제 풀이에 적용하였다. 이를 위해 객관식으로 이루어진 수능 문항의 각각의 선택지들을 질문 형태로 변형하여 모델이 답을 도출해낼 수 있도록 데이터셋을 변형하였다. 또한 BERT(Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformer)가 가진 입력값 개수의 한계를 극복하기 위해 더 큰 입력값을 처리할 수 있는 트랜스포머 기반 모델 중에서 한국어 기계독해 학습에 적합한 KoBigBird를 사전학습모델로 설정하여 성능을 높였다.

  • Q-Learning과 같은 기본적인 강화 학습 알고리즘은 문제의 사이즈가 커짐에 따라 성능이 크게 떨어지게 된다. 그 이유들로는 목표와의 거리가 멀어지게 되어 학습이 어려워지는 문제와 비 지향적 탐색을 사용함으로써 효율적인 탐색이 어려운 문제를 들 수 있다. 이들을 해결하기 위해 목표와의 거리를 줄일 수 있는 계층적 강화 학습 모델과 여러 가지 지향적 탐색 모델이 있어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 이들을 결합하여 계층적 강화 학습 모델에 지향적 탐색을 가능하게 하는 탐색 보너스를 도입한 강화 학습 모델을 제시한다.
