  • The purpose of the present study is to examine the structural relationship among academic stress, achievement motivation, learning environment, school flow and learning persistence in cyber education. For this study, 879 students who were enrolled in S cyber university in Korea was chosen to conduct the survey. Achievement motivation was measured in the beginning of the semester. Academic stress, learning environment, school flow, and learning persistence were measured at the end of the semester through the web survey system. The results of this study were as follows: First, academic stress, achievement motivation, and learning environment significantly affected school flow. Second, academic stress, achievement motivation, and school flow affected learning persistence, but didn't affect learning environment significantly. The results imply that academic stress, achievement motivation, and school flow should be considered as the significant elements for constructing cyber education environments to enhance students' learning persistence.

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the moderating effect of parental learning involvement in the effect of adolescents' time management ability on face-to-face and non-face-to-face learning flow. The participants were 363 middle and high school adolescents, and data were collected through an online survey. The main statistical analysis methods were ANOVA, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. The major findings were as follows. First, learning flow was significantly higher in the face-to-face class than in the non-face-to-face class. Second, there was a statistically significant positive correlation among time management ability, parental involvement in learning, and learning flow. Third, in the effect of time management ability on face-to-face learning flow, the moderating effect of parental learning involvement was statistically significant. Fourth, in the effect of time management ability on non-face-to-face learning flow, the moderating effect of parental learning involvement was statistically significant. In other words, the higher the positive parental involvement in learning, the stronger the effect of adolescents' time management ability on learning flow. Finally, the importance of positive parental involvement for the improvement of adolescents' learning flow and methods of enhancing time management ability were discussed.

  • The objective of this study was to verify the mediating effects of self-efficacy between metacognition and learning flow in college students in healthcare field. Participants were 300 college students. Self-administered questionnaire data were collected from November 21 to December 2, 2016. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and hierarchical regression analysis with the SPSS/WIN 23.0 program. Results are as follows. Metacognition had positive effects on learning flow(${\beta}=.678$, p<.001). Self-efficacy had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between metacognition and learning flow. The findings of study showed that metacognition was very important for enhancing learning flow and self-efficacy influenced these relationship. This study suggested that it is important to develop and implement teaching and learning strategies with improved metacognition in healthcare field.

  • This study investigates convergent factors to TOEIC learning flow among some health college students in TOEIC class. The questionnaire was performed on 255 health college students in TOEIC class from college located in J area from May 1st, 2018 to May. 25th, 2018 by using an unregistered self-administered questionnaire. The hierarchical multiple regression analysis shows the following results. The TOEIC learning flow of respondents turned out to be significantly higher in following groups: a group in which self efficacy is higher, a group in which academic control is higher, a group in which school resilience is higher. The results show explanatory power of 43.4%. As the results of the study, it is necessary to make an effort to increase self efficacy, academic control and school resilience to improve the TOEIC learning flow among health college students. These results can be used in development and operation of TOEIC learning program to higher TOEIC learning flow in health college students. Further studies need the analysis of structural equation model effecting TOEIC learning flow of health college students.

  • This study developed an English conversation learning program using virtual reality(VR) and mobile devices. Participants learned and practiced English conversational patterns in immersive virtual reality and mobile conditions. In the program, participants learned and practiced nine conversational patterns with virtual characters in four steps. Language anxiety and conversational fluency were measured to examine the effects of this program. Language anxiety questionnaire was administered before and after the experiment. The results showed that language anxiety was significantly reduced after learning in both conditions, and the reduction waa significantly greater in the immersive condition. Conversational fluency was assessed based on the changes in the length, appropriateness, and accuracy of the responses before and after participants learned and practiced conversational episodes. The results showed that the length, appropriateness, and accuracy of the responses were improved in both conditions after learning. The response length was significantly longer in the immersive VR conditions. These results suggest that immersive VR can be an effective tool to enhance English conversational abilities.

  • The purpose of this study is to reveal the variables that affect learning immersion, in real-time non-face-to-face classes. To this end, a survey was conducted from November 22, 2021 to December 5, 2021 for students with experience in zoom classes. Excluding incorrect questionnaire, 117 copies were analyzed using a structural equation model. The results show that 'interest' and 'interaction level' influenced 'learning immersion', and 'learning immersion' had a positive effect on 'learning outcome'. The contribution of this study is that it empirically analyzed variables affecting learning immersion in real-time non-face-to-face classes. In the follow-up study, it is necessary to verify variables that affect learning immersion in various platforms, including zoom.

  • This study was a descriptive research study to identify the influencing factors on learning commitment of nursing students. Method: Data were collected from nursing students in two different universities in D and G metropolitan city. The data collection period was from November 26 to December 7, 2018. The analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS/WIN 21.0. Results: Learning commitment of the participants showed statistical differences according to grade level, satisfaction in major and interpersonal relationship. Learning commitment was positively correlated with self leadership (r=.738, p<.001). The factors affecting learning commitment were the needs for grade level (β=-.212, p=.011), satisfaction in major (β=.248, p=.001) and self leadership (β=.598, p<.001) explaining 58% of the total variance of learning commitment. Conclusion: As a result of this study, increase learning commitment in student nurses, it is necessary to develop program promoting satisfaction in major and self leadership.

  • This study is a descriptive research study to verify the relationship between university students' learning flow, self-directed learning, learning outcomes, and online class satisfaction, and to identify factors that influence online class satisfaction. There was a significant positive correlation between university students' learning flow, self-directed learning, learning outcomes, and online class satisfaction. Online class satisfaction had a positive effect on learning flow and learning outcomes, but self-directed learning had no direct effect. The explanatory power of online class satisfaction was 49%. Based on the above results, in order to increase online class satisfaction, a plan is needed to improve university students' learning flow and learning outcomes for online classes. In addition, instructor and university are required to actively endeavor and support to improve the quality of online classes.
