There are many studies on spin-offs from college, but there is little concern on start-ups, which are set up by college and operated by professors. We call this type of start-up as college start-up. We check the problems and solutions of this type of start-ups. We propose three factors for success; prior checking of profitability of the business, preparation of relevant school policies and profit sharing with school and professors participated.

The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the satisfaction of students, teachers, and smaller businesses who participate in the apprenticeship. To get answers, it analyzed students and teachers in 4 technical high schools in Daegu city and 4 technical high schools in small and midium sized city in Gyeongsangbuk-do province, and analyzed field teachers and people in charge in the smaller businesses which entered into the program. This study results are as follows. First, It is shown that participation in apprenticeship school is helpful for emplyment and that apprenticeship system is helpful for student's career choice because the respondents who are willing to make aggressive invitation to juniors are high. Second, Satisfaction with teachers was company discovery to be difficult, but the need for the system was relatively positively evaluated. Third, when it comes to the satisfaction of the smaller businesses, The participating companies's matter of primary concern is continuous business growth and they have will to participate in the apprenticeship program depending on the demand for manpower.

The purpose of this study is to research teachers' recognition for founding and operationg school-companies for each field of handicap. And, the subjects for the questionnaire were the teachers in five schools in Daegu. According to the result, for the foundation of school-company for each field of handicap, it showed that the teachers significantly required it; for the operation, they expected both the increasement of job taking rate and the specialized vocational development of students; and for the operating method, they preferred the supplying way through their production of required goods by local community and companies. For the operation of school-companies for each field of handicap, the time arrangement for curriculum of the students should be flexible, and the curriculum should be incorporated according to the need of each school. And, as for the staff members and teachers in charge of school-company for each field of handcap, this study suggested it to support and assist according to practical situation of each school. Through the result of this study, it was discussed on the direction of following studies and practical meaning for school-companies for each field of handicap.

The objective of the field professional education is to train up students with knowledge and technic and to supply them to companies. One of the good methods for the field professional education is to establish the school based enterprise(SBE) in school and university. The SBE program for the field professional education could improve the cooperation between industry and school(or university). In this paper, the foreign SBE programs and the domestic SBE programs are investigated and some improvement are suggested for the technical high schools.

전주대학교 '궁중약(藥)고추장' (사업단장 신정규)은 지난 2004년 ‘교과과정과 연계된 현장학습을 통한 우수한 실무 인력 양성’을 목적으로 하여 설립된 학교기업이다. '궁중약(藥)고추장'의 주 상품인 약고추장은 전주대학교 전통음식 문화전공에서 우리나라 고조리서에 기록된제법을 바탕으로 현대인이 입맛에 맞게 재현한 고추장으로 학생들과 교수진이 함께 연구를 통해 탄생시킨 우수상품이다.

This study aims to analyze the changes in school/corporate authorities participation after overseas training in Germany and Switzerland. According to this study, the satisfaction with program contents and help for the operation of apprenticeship education was very high. Even though the satisfaction with each type of apprenticeship education institutes did not show differences in accordance with participants' age, there were statistically significant differences in the satisfaction in accordance with work area and position, so that it would be necessary to reflect the results of analysis on the selection of institutes to visit in the future. Regarding the changes in the perception of operation of apprenticeship school in accordance with school/corporate authorities' participation in overseas training, school authorities' perception of the whole areas was improved after training than before training like understanding, planning, practice, and evaluation of apprenticeship education while corporate authorities' perception was not. As corporate authorities also understood the necessity of overseas training for the operation of apprenticeship education, however, in order to increase the effects of overseas training in the future, it would be necessary to provide lots of information to help the understanding of apprenticeship education through preliminary training or regular council and council of each project group. Because of the huge differences in socio-cultural conditions in the practice of apprenticeship education between Korea and two countries such as Germany and Switzerland, it would be needed to operate overseas training that could draw the improvement measures within the system of Korea instead of simple comparative analysis.

The purpose of this study is to find out the measures to improve the curriculums of the specialized vocational high schools aided by Small and Medium Business Administration through estimating whether they have satisfied the purpose of the aids and analyzing the related factors. Among specialized vocational high schools aided by Small and Medium Business Administration, 49 technical high schools which comprised the largest proportion were chosen as subjects for this study. Among the 49 subjects, 57.1%(28 schools) are reported to be suitable, 36.7%(18 schools) so-so, and 6.2%(3 schools) unsuitable for the curriculums. The curriculums of specialized vocational high schools aided by Small and Medium Business Administration were mostly associated with the local strategic business. However, many of them implemented the pre-existed curriculums because they didn't reflect the job analysis of the business properly. To establish more effective curriculums of the specialized vocational high schools aided by Small and Medium Business Administration, most of all, guides for them should be prepared in its level. Also, midium and long-term development plans of school departments should be made to reorganize the current departments which hinder the specialization in curriculums by government or offices of education. Finally, a conference of government departments on the curriculum establishment should be organized.
