Introduction of the SBE and Its Operation for the Improvement of Field Professional Education

The objective of the field professional education is to train up students with knowledge and technic and to supply them to companies. One of the good methods for the field professional education is to establish the school based enterprise(SBE) in school and university. The SBE program for the field professional education could improve the cooperation between industry and school(or university). In this paper, the foreign SBE programs and the domestic SBE programs are investigated and some improvement are suggested for the technical high schools.

현장실습 교육 활성화를 위한 학교기업 도입과 운영 방안

직업교육의 목적은 산업체 현장에 필요한 인력을 양성 공급하는 것으로, 학생들이 학교 교육을 통하여 산업체에서 요구하는 지식, 기술 등을 습득하는데 있다. 그러나 최근 우리나라의 경우에서는 직업교육이 위축되는 경향을 보이고 있다. 이공계를 지원하는 학생들이 감소하면서 정원이 미달되는 현상이 발생됨으로써 학교 경영이 어려워지는 동시에 직업교육에 대한 투자 효과마저 떨어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 직업교육 활성화를 위해 일부 국가와 국내에서 적용하고 있는 학교기업 프로그램을 분석하고, 학교기업을 적용할 경우 예상되는 문제점을 예방하고 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다.
