Construction of A Computer Model for FAB of Semiconductor Manufacturing (반도체 FAB 공정에서의 Computer Model 구축)

  • 본 연구는 복잡하고 다양한 반도체 공저의 모델링을 통하여 반도체 공정 표준화 작업을 목적으로 하고 있다. 급변하는 세계 반도체 시장에서 국내 반도체 업체가 수위를 지킬 수 있는 방안은 공정의 표준화를 제시함으로써 생산업체에서의 신기술 개발에 따른 어려움을 해소하고 기술 개발과 더불어 생산관리 쪽으로의 이동에 대응할 수 있도록 하여 국제 경쟁력을 키워야 할 것이다. 본 연구의 기대효과로는 현장기술자와 장비운용자의 질적 향상을 위한 교육용 자료로의 활용이 가능하다는 것이다. Presentation Tool을 이용한 시청각 교육효과와 시뮬레이션을 이용한 Process Flow Wide View 증진은 현재 국내 반도체 업체들의 신입사원 교육 시 상당한 효과를 거둘 것이라 예상된다. 이는 생산업체에 국한되어지는 것만은 아니며 반도체 공정에 관련된 대학 학과목에서도 활용되어지리라 생각된다. 또한 Modeling & Simulation Tool을 사용하여 공정을 모델링함으로써 표준화를 만든 후 각 제조 업체들은 이러한 모델들은 이용하여 회사의 실정에 맞추어 자사에 대한 시뮬레이션을 손쉽게 수행함으로써 공정 최적화에 따른 경비 절감의 효과를 거둘 수 있을 것이다. 제품별 혹은 같은 제품이라도 Version이 다를 경우 FAB 공정가운데 약 10% 내외만이 바뀌는 점을 감안하면 본 연구를 통해 얻어지는 결과물인 Computer Model과 Simulator는 쉽게 생산현장에 적용할 수 있으리라 여겨진다.

  • The present investigation is concerned chiefly with new curriculum development at the Department of Mechanical System & Design Engineering at Hongik University with the aim of enhancing creativity, team working and communication capability which modern engineering education is emphasizing on. 'Mechanical System & Design Engineering' department equipped with new curriculum emphasizing engineering design is new name for mechanical engineering department in Hongik University. To meet radically changing environment and demands of industries toward engineering education, the department has shifted its focus from analog-based and machine-centered hard approach to digital-based and human-centered soft approach. Three new programs of Introduction to Mechanical System & Design Engineering, Creative Engineering Design and Product Design emphasize hands-on experiences through project-based team working. Sketch model and prototype making process is strongly emphasized and cardboard, poly styrene foam and foam core plate are provided as working material instead of traditional hard engineering material such as metals material because these three programs focus more on creative idea generation and dynamic communication among team members rather than the end results. With generative, visual and concrete experiences that can compensate existing engineering classes with traditional focus on analytic, mathematical and reasoning, hands-on experiences can play a significant role for engineering students to develop creative thinking and engineering sense needed to face ill-defined real-world design problems they are expected to encounter upon graduation.

A study on the communication ability, general self-efficacy, social self-efficacy and academic achievement of nursing freshmen (간호학과 신입생의 의사소통능력, 일반적 자기효능감, 사회적 자기효능감 및 학업성취에 관한 연구)

  • This descriptive research is to find communication ability, general and social self-efficacy, and academic achievement in peer collaboration subject of nursing freshmen. The data were analyzed by SPSS/WIN 19.0. The communication ability was higher in the extroverts and high discussion preference ones(p=.01), females' social self-efficacy were higher than males'(p=.03), the general and social self-efficacy of the 'introverted' and 'middle' groups were higher than the extroverts'(p=.01). The social self-efficacy on the 'middle high', 'middle' and 'middle low' of self-evaluated school grades groups were higher than 'high' one's, even the academic achievement of 'high' group was the most(p=.01). There were negative correlations between communication ability and self-efficacy, and between social self-efficacy and academic achievement. And social self-efficacy affected on the academic achievement in peer collaboration subject($R^2=0.058$, p<.05). These results can be used as a basis for developing guidelines of nursing freshmen who have to complete a lot of theoretical and practical courses in university.

Factors Affecting Science Track Choice of Korean High School Students (한국 인문계 고교생들의 진로결정 요인)

  • 과학교육은 학생들이 장차 과학 기술분야의 직업을 추구하도록 하는 것을 그 중요한 결실의 하나로 잡고 있다. 현재 한국은 과학과 기술의 발전을 교육의 주요목표의 하나로 삼고 있으며, 정부에서는 보다 많은 영재를 과학 기술분야로 유치하려고 여러 가지 정책을 펴고 있다. 그러나 이러한 정책도 결국은 학생이 과학 기술분야로 모여들지 않으면 그 효과가 없게 된다. 그런 점에서 학생들이 어떤 이유로 과학 기술분야를 선택하는지 혹은 기피하는지 그 원인을 아는 것을 중요한 과제라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 과학 및 기술분야의 직업을 갖게 되는데 결정적인 역할을 하는 고교생의 문 이과반 선택에 있어 그 진로결정에 영향을 주는 제 요인들을 규명하는데 목적을 두고있다. 연구대상은 대구시내외 남 녀 고교 1학년생 109명(문과 56명, 이과 53명)이었으며 조사방법은 설문지법을 사용하였다. 조사결과는 학생들의 문 이과반 선택에는 장래직업, 대학전공, 적성, 학과목에 대한 능력, 흥미 선호도, 가족 및 주위의 권유 등이 주요요인임을 보여주고 있다. 그중 문과를 지원한 학생들은 대체적으로 자신의 적성 이과과목에 대한 능력부족 인식, 내신 및 학력고사에서의 성적취득용이성 등 주로 자신의 내적 동기와 관련된 요인들을 들고 있는데 비해, 이과를 지원한 학생들은 밝은 직업전망, 가족 및 주위의 권유 등 외적인 동기도 큰 작용을 하고 있음을 보여 대조를 이루고 있다. 또 문과를 지원한 학생은 이과가 공부하기가 어렵고 성적을 올리기도 힘들어 이과를 기피한 경향을 보이는데 반해 이과 지원자는 문과를 기피하여 이과로 왔다는 응답은 별로 없는 점이 대조를 보였다. 본 논문은 이러한 결과가 던져주는 시사점과 과학교육의 개선책에 관한 제언을 제시하면서 결론을 맺고 있다.

  • The evolution in information and communication technologies and the changing role in information and library systems are raised to force significan changes in Korea. A number of library schools started new subject in their curriculm and revised their present curriculum. As a result the rationale for the revision and contents of new subject is provided from 1970 decade. With long-ranging effect on the library profession we. in Korea, should review for our curricular implications. The information System Department in California state university and FIABID curriculum in Germany are proposed to consider in undergoing transformation in information and library science.

Effect of Clinical Kinesiology Class Contents by Utilizing Movies (영화를 활용한 임상운동학 수업 콘텐츠의 효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the Clinical Kinesiology Class Contents(: CKCC) by utilizing movies and investigate the effects of its application to clinical kinesiology learning. The developed CKCC were applied to the clinical kinesiology classes for 47 second year student of physical therapy and occupational therapy in K college in G City. CKCC includ movie scenes that can demonstrate the action of muscles effectively, for better student understanding, as has already been shown widely. The interest and understanding of CKCC by the class was analysed. The results show that the developed CKCC is very effective implement for stimulating students' interest(p<0.05) and understanding(p<0.05) of clinical kinesiology classes.

Effects of reflective journal writing to mathematics self-efficacy in reciprocal peer tutoring (상호또래교수에서의 반성적 저널쓰기 활동이 수학자기효능감에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examines the effects of reflective journal writing on the mathematics self-efficacy in reciprocal peer tutoring. Participants were 38 high school students in Gyeonggi province who attended at a summer intensive mathematics course for 4 weeks. This study used a mixed method. SPSS 21.0 program was used to analyze the quantitative data, and the interviews, observational journals and reflective journals of 6 students were used to analyze qualitative data. According to the results, all the subcategories of mathematics self-efficacy, - mathematics problem-efficacy, mathematics success-efficacy, mathematics learning-efficacy, and mathematics subject-efficacy - improved except mathematics occupation-efficacy. In case of mathematics success-efficacy and mathematics problem-efficacy, students revealed the greatest improvement. In conclusion, reflective journal writing in reciprocal peer tutoring could be suggested as a treatment program to improve students' mathematics self-efficacy.

  • In this paper, we made an investigation into the awareness of mathematics by college students, they took a course in mathematics as the liberal arts. Mathematics as the liberal arts is divided into 2 types: mathematics focused on calculus or statistics, and living mathematics except them. We researched mathematics as the liberal arts on a curriculum in several universities and analyzed them. From these results, we suggest the improvement of mathematics as the liberal arts in university.

  • To keep pace with rapidly changing social and technological trends, the Department of Mechanical and System Design Engineering at Hongik University is in the process of updating teaching materials and learning methodologies while evaluating/revising our existing curriculum. In order to be better apprised of the employment needs and student aspirations, we have conducted three separate but related surveys by targeting experienced professionals and managers, alumni working in industries as practising engineers, and our current students. The surveys have furnished us with valuable insights that, we hope, will lead to a new curriculum and learning methods more in tune with needs of our students as well as their future employers. Among other findings, the analysis of the survey responses points towards expansion of integrated laboratory and design experiences, cultivation of improved written and oral communication capabilities involving individual and team efforts, and development of interdisciplinary courses encompassing related fields of engineering as well as emerging fields such as nano and information technologies.

Correlation Analysis of Information Subject and Science Subject for the Gifted Children in IT (정보영재아동의 정보과목과 과학과목의 상관관계 분석)

  • Currently gifted education aims for convergent gifted education according to government policy. The purpose of this paper is to investigate correlation of information subject and science subject(physics, chemistry, biology, and geology) for the gifted children in IT. For this purpose, the gifted children in IT who attended a gifted science education center attached to a university at Seoul Metropolitan Area are selected. Their grades during their the period of attendance are collected and analysed. The statistical results show that there is a meaningful correlation between information subject and biology subject for the gifted children in IT. It means that the higher scores information subject is, the higher scores biology subject is. The results can be used to make or change gifted curriculum and education contents for gifted IT education.
