  • In the context of welfare politics, this study tries to examine how interest groups'policy priorities in the child-care policy of Korea were shaped and changed. Based on the already institutionalized child-care services, each beneficiary group-parents, employer and employee of child care center-has its own preference and perception in child-care policy. Futhermore, this difference has produced conflict of interests in the priority of policy options and brought interest group politics to the realm of child-care policy. With regard to interest group politics, this study firstly examines divergence of beneficiary groups'perception about the child-care policy priorities. Meanwhile, discourse politics should be regarded as another dimension of welfare politics because beneficiaries'perception preference in policy could be sometimes changed and converged by communicative policy discourse. By examining convergent aspects of beneficiary groups'perception about policy priority, this study secondly tries to analyze the discourse politics which has been influenced by the free child-care discourse during 2010-12 election period. To investigate these two dimensions of child-care politics, beneficiary groups'policy priority should be systematically and comprehensively classified and quantified. Using Analysis Hierarchy Process(AHP), this study identifies 11 policy issues and determines different ranking priorities of each beneficiary group.

In addition social astuteness, interpersonal influence and apparent sincerity mediate relationship between proactive personality and upward influence. but networking ability does not have mediating effect. • Conspiracy theory is often considered as a kind of paranoid and an act of throwing all the blame solely on the Big Other who is presumed to control all the incidents behind the curtain. While, it is also assessed as a socio-political sub-culture and a way of interpreting the world full of closure and insufficient information, keeping us from grasping 'the totality'. Meanwhile recent conspiracy films reflect the ever dense and concealed anatomy of the world now. And it reveals some kind of ideological tendency which is, 'sense of catastrophe' and 'non-ideology' reflecting the world of late capitalism society. This article intends to examine the altered representational appearance and ideology in recent conspiracy films so as to understand how the conspiracy theory, the social-political interpretational mechanism, is converged into the film narrative against the backdrop of late capitalism, a socio-political condition we live in.

  • This is an exploratory study intended to clarify any mutually influential relationship among the political skills, social network and entrepreneurial performance of SMEs entrepreneurs who are known to have the most important influence upon the business performance. The results of this study show that as entrepreneur's social competence, political skills have significant influence on both social network and entrepreneurial performance, and that only some sub-factors of social network have significant influence on entrepreneurial performance. Especially, it was found that the source of weak ties mediates completely political skills and entrepreneurial performance. The above-mentioned results are meaningful in the light of considering any relationship between the capabilities and performance of SMEs entrepreneurs who have critical influence upon performance creation, and also clarifying concretely the bridging role of entrepreneur's social network between his/her social competence, or political skills and entrepreneurial performance. In addition, it is considered that this study has made a theoretical contribution in the light of introducing a concrete and new antecedent variable of political skills and establishing the role of social network, as well as a practical contribution in the light of presenting the real-world information on development of entrepreneur's competence which corresponds to a preparatory stage for performance creation.

  • This essay examines the questions that existing high-teen related studies are missing: "What is high-teen?". It is a foreign language originated from Japanese, spoken only in Japan and Korea among the post-war pan East Asian pop culture scenes. High-teen is based on the 'teenager' formed in the United States. It should be understood not just as a subcategory of popular culture but as an important ideological allegory of post-war Japanese politics. To learn this concept, this essay archeologically researches the origin of high-teen's meaning and analyses the political meaning of the early high-teen contents of Ueda Hirao which related to postwar politics and ideology in Japan. Existing research regarding high-teen tends to be limited to the peripheral and fragmentary areas. On the other hand, this paper will be the beginning of a discussion on high-teen in a more expanding perspective as an East Asian postwar history.
