  • This study is about comparing and analyzing the representative fintech application service, Toss, and Kakaobank from the user's point of view and suggest development according to the main factors of user experience. The experimental group who have used both mobile application was recruited to do a task about deposit and withdrawal service. After the task, an in-depth interview was conducted by reorganizing the "Creating Pleasurable Interface model" by Stephen P. Anderson. Interview questionnaire is based on propensity and feature of generation 2030. As a result of the experiment, the user showed satisfaction with usability and showed different application usage experience depend on financial transaction propensity and money management. Therefore, the application needs features that could grasp the propensity and also service to manage money in everyday life. Based on this study, it is expected to develop be user-based fintech application service in related fields.

  • The purpose of this study is to derive a UX that can help the use of fintech applications by senior users in their 60s or older, which has naturally increased with the increase in the elderly population. The study extracted five factors commonly considered important in fintech applications and was conducted based on a survey of general users and in-depth interviews with senior users. The research factors were extracted through a literature review into three general user experience research factors and two senior user experience research factors. After a survey targeting general users, in-depth interviews were conducted with senior users. As a result, we found notable differences in concerns about responsiveness and perceived usefulness between general and senior users. Based on the characteristics derived from the results of this study, we designed UX to help senior users use fintech applications.

  • It has already been a few years since the word Fintech in Korea started to attract attention. These days, they believed that Fintech was just a boom, but these days it is recognized as a catalyst for financial transformation. Large venture companies are also launching demonstration experiments by creating new organizations that can respond to Fintech. It feels like a big tide is coming to the cautious and conservative financial industry. Finance is made up of digital information. Fintech is an evolutionary process in which finance, expressed by digital information, is transformed into information technology (IT) and human economic activities are reorganized. It is FinTech. You won't be able to understand the real effects of Fintech by sticking to individual applications like remittance payments or household account book services. Fintech is an innovation that changes the structure of economic activity itself. In fact, it is from now on that a big impact will come. In other words, now is the time when we are thinking of a dream that we have not yet dreamed of. In this paper, I will examine how fintech originated, spread to Korea, and how it intends to change Korea's finance in the future. Financial institutions have used the fruits of information technology advances in the direction of pursuing stability and stability, without major changes in the way they work. However, the movement of Fintech that started in Silicon Valley in the United States shows that the fruit can be used in other directions. The fruit of technological progress is expected to expand year by year in the future. It is a request of the times to use it to improve user convenience and to pursue innovation that is beneficial to society. We expect the flow of Fintech to accelerate innovation in the Korean financial industry.

  • This research aims to evaluate how each generation experiences easy payment services. Recently, the easy payment service business has been on an upward trajectory and pin-tech companies have introduced various types of products. In this regard, it becomes crucial to understand differences among generations in terms of using those services due to their accessibility and serviceability. Based on the statistical analysis of surveys and in-depth interviews based on Peter Morville's Honeycomb model, this study suggests four ways to improve this payment service. The analysis indicates that those who are older tend to use easy payment services provided by their credit card companies or services which they frequently have already used. Findings of this analysis are expected to find the relationship between ages and payment applications.

  • This study is meant to derive what is needed to enhance the convenience and satisfaction of users of mobile credit card applications. For the first step, the current status of simple payment service using application has been identified and in-depth interview by reorganizing Peter Morvile's Honeycomb model into the five usage principle based on the main function of the application card. As a result, it was found that users prefer personalized services that fulfill the purpose and key functions of the app card and take into account their consumption patterns rather than too many additional functions. Based on this study, it is expected that it would help card companies increase their experience with app card users and strengthen their platforms.

  • In modern society, the number of applications, which needs storage, is increased. Among them, the advance of FinTech increased the importance of storage encryption. FinTech storage, storing sensitive information, should be kept secure. Unless the storage is kept, many users will be damaged monetarily. To prevent this problem, we should encrypt the storage. A EncFS, which is one of the most popular storage encryption application, uses different IVs for each block to provide higher levels of security in the encryption algorithm. However, there is a vulnerability related to the usage of same IVs. In this paper, we propose a technique that decrypts the ciphertexts without knowing the secret key by using the vulnerability. Moreover, we show that the EncFS is not secure under IND-CPA model and propose a new scheme which is secure under IND-CPA model.

  • Recently, in the field of next-generation e-commerce and finance, interest in blockchain-based technologies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum is great. Although the security of blockchain technology is known to be secure, hacking incidents / accidents related to cryptocurrencies are being issued. The main causes were vulnerabilities in the external environment, such as taking over login sessions on cryptocurrency wallets, exposing private keys due to malware infection, and using simple passwords. However, private key management recommends general methods such as utilizing a dedicated application or local backup and physical archiving through document printing. In this paper, we propose a white box password-based private key protection scheme. As a result of safety and performance analysis, we strengthened the security against vulnerability of private key exposure and proved the processing efficiency of existing protocol.
