An Evaluation of Airports' Service Provision Based on Consumer Perception (소비자 인식에 따른 주요공항의 서비스 평가)

  • This research has been carried out for assessing the competitiveness of the major Asian airports based on the quality of service provision. Five airports were selected for evaluation: Hong Kong, Singapore Changi, Tokyo Narita, Bangkok Don Muang, and Seoul Incheon International Airport. For evaluation of these selected airports, AHP and IPA techniques were applied. Five main factors were defined through a literature review of previous studies: concreteness, convenience, economic efficiency, respondency, and accessability. Hong Kong International Airport had the strongest airport in the Asian region, followed by Incheon International Airport. The least competitive airports were Bangkok and Tokyo Narita International Airport in regards to users' perception for the provision of services at the airport.

  • 본 연구는 말콤 볼드리지 요소와 BSC의 각 관점의 KPI 지수간의 연계들 통하여 기업 경영품질향상을 위한 평가모형 구축과 전략 설정을 그 목표로 하고 있다. 기업경영과 관련된 제 영역에 대한 고찰이 가능한 말콤 볼드리지 평가 항목을 살펴보고, 기업경영 성과 측정을 위한 구체적 평가항목을 제시함으로써 부서간 연계 및 인과관계 설정, 전략과의 연계가 가능하여 경영자의 전략 설정과 리더십에 도움을 줄 수 있는 BSC 항목을 살펴 본 후, 기업 경영혁신과 프로세스 개선을 위한 두 평가 항목의 연계를 통하여 평가항목 관리요소의 중복을 제거하고 동일화를 달성, '기업성과 향상' 이라는 공동 목표달성을 위해 MB 및 BSC 두 개선 노선이 시너지를 달성할 수 있는 체계를 마련하고자 한다. 이는 MB와 BSC의 연계방안을 살펴봄으로써 기업의 '경영품질'을 향상시키고, 향상된 경영품질을 구체적 항목에 의거하여 체계적으로 평가할 수 있는 방안을 찾음과 동시에 기업 전략 설정에 이바지할 수 있는 모형구축을 그 목표로 하고 있다.

  • 최근 전국의 각 대학교와 한국대학교육협의회에서는 대학교 경쟁력을 우수한 인재를 양성하는 교육에 있다고 보고, 교육 활동에 비중을 높이고 강의 및 학생 지도에 역량을 집중하고 있다. 지금까지 대학 교육 활동의 대부분을 차지하는 수업에 대한 평가는 학생의견을 바탕으로 한 강의평가와 교수업적 반영 위주로 진행되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 교육 활동영역에서 수업의 평가 지표를 마련하고 체계적인 수업 개선을 위해 수업 평가 요인을 도출하고, 평가 결과물을 토대로 평가 요인에 적합한 개선 방안을 제시하는 환류 체계를 제시하고자 한다. 이를 통하여 강의평가 결과가 평가 항목에 따른 측정 결과 제시에서 수업 개선의 피드백을 제공하는데 초점을 맞추어 체계적으로 수업의 품질을 관리할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

The Consumers' Evaluative Criteria of Quality on The Organic Clothes and Their Purchase Intention (오가닉 의류제품에 대한 대학생 소비자의 품질평가기준과 구매의도)

  • This study aims to find evaluative criteria of quality on the organic clothes with college student consumers, categorize them, establish the basis of evaluation criteria, and examine the roles of each attribute according to their demographical characteristics and the association between their quality evaluation and their purchase intention. College students' evaluative criteria of quality factors of organic clothes were three factor; "aesthetic symbolism", "mainterance efficiency", and "functionality". As a result, first this study showed significant differences from the evaluation criteria of organic clothes in sex, major and pocket money among demographical characteristics Second, this study found that college student consumers' experience of purchasing organic clothes considered "aesthetic symbolism", "mainterance efficiency", and "functionality" more important compared to non-purchase group. Third, it was found that there might be differences between future purchase intention group and non-repurchase intention group according to evaluation standard of organic clothes. There was significant differences in "functionality" between the two groups.

Development of Measurement Standard Scale for Festival Basic Quality(BASICQUAL) (지역축제 기초품질(BASICQUAL) 척도 개발)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the basic scales of festival quality. We conducted a content analysis in the discourse of KINDS(Korea Integrated News Database System) and derived five constituent factors, basic quality measures of local festivals through the extensive literature review. We named these qualities "Festival BASICQUAL" that is consist of Infrastructure, Connectedness, Passion, Theme, Culture. We conducted the empirical analysis for the participants in "Geumsan Insam Festival" to verify the "Festival BASICQUAL" As the result, Infrastructure, Connectedness, Culture affected positively on Festival Attachment among all BASICQUALs. However, Passion and Theme did not positively affected on the dependent variable. And then, Festival Attachment positively affected on Festival Satisfaction, while Festival Satisfaction also affected positively on Behavior Intention. This study developed the basic quality concerned with local festivals which is crucial fundamentals to quantify Festival BASICQUAL through empirical study. The proper applications and usage of these newly introduced local festival qualities enable to acquire the sustainable competitive advantage in local festival.

The Design and Development of Evaluation Tool for Software Usability (소프트웨어 사용성 평가도구 설계 및 구현)

  • Usability is defined by the effectiveness efficiency and satisfaction with which specified users can achieve a specified goal in the particular environment. This paper is not only to provide a framework for specifying the usability attributes of a product and establishing a comprehensive set of usability criteria, but also to asses usability metrics of the software. The Evaluation Tool for Software Usability are developed based on the properties of the a user interface using ISO standard and general usability principles with product-oriented view. It means that product has attributes contributing to determine the usability. This paper also suggests the way to weight the relative importance of the individual usability item depending on the software categories.

Performance Evaluation of the Small Automatic Line Marking Equipment (소형 차선도색 자동화 장비의 성능 평가에 관한 연구)

  • In order to improve the nighttime visibility of the lane, the need for the development of the automated line marking equipment is on the rise. The purpose of this study is to suggest performance assessment methodology that can be assessed from various aspects such as productivity, safety and quality performance of line marking equipment and to comprehensively analyze the performance of hand-operated and automated equipment based on field test. The following shows the results. It suggested a methodology capable of analyzing the performance of the line marking equipment in terms of productivity, safety and quality. Automated equipment for line marking was analyzed that can be obtained productivity achievement rate of 156.3% as compared with hand-operated equipment. On the basis of the expert advise and literature review, we derived twelve safety factors and ten quality factors of unit work in line marking. By utilizing the AHP technique, we estimated the importance of safety and quality factors. Automated equipment for line marking was analyzed to have been able to expect safety improvement rate of 49.8% and quality improvement rate of 47.2%. It is expected that the performance assessment methodology suggested in this study will be useful in analyzing objective and quantitative validity and expected effectiveness of the line marking equipment.

The Effects of Leadership, Appraisal, Reward, and KMS Characteristics on KMS Use (리더십, 평가 및 보상, KMS특성이 KMS 이용에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the causal relationships among leadership, appraisal, reward, knowledge quality, knowledge management system(KMS) quality, and KMS use. The results of data analysis by structured equation model(SEM) indicate that leadership significantly influences appraisal and reward. Appraisal affects reward too. Reward and knowledge quality affect KMS Use, but leadership, appraisal, and KMS quality don't affect KMS use. Based on the results, the theoretical and practical implications of this study are discussed.

Evaluating Level of Quality for the Skyteam Cargo Services (스카이팀 카고의 서비스 품질에 대한 평가)

  • This research explores the relative importance of factors and service items that influence the air cargo service quality for provision services by the Skyteam Cargo in the Korean market. In general, the Skyteam Cargo provides a package of services which are different functions and operations of service such item as Equation Heavy (heavy and large express freight), Equation (small express freight), Variation (special freight), and Dimension (general freight). To carry out the research, the expert questionnaire survey, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) analysis had adopted to evaluate the level of quality for the provision air cargo operation services by the Skyteam Cargo at Incheon International Airport. Based on an expert survey and the AHP, five core service factors, namely, infrastructure as installed facilities, reliability, promptness, efficiency, and safety are defined.

Analyzing Service Quality Factors for Affecting Government 2.0 Users' Satisfaction (이용자 만족에 영향을 미치는 Government 2.0 서비스 품질 요인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to present the direction of improving the Korean Government 2.0 services by evaluating the quality of the service and analyzing its effects on user satisfaction. Recently, on the extension of e-government, Government 2.0, which is the government service combined with Web 2.0, has emerged as a new paradigm. However, there are very few studies on the impact of Government 2.0 on general society and industries. Especially, there is little or no practical analysis and evaluation for the quality of Government 2.0 service. Because the service quality is typically used as the leading indicator of user satisfaction, this study applies it to the Government 2.0 for the validation of the existingtheory in a particular subject. The service quality was measured by the tangibles, reliability, responsiveness of revised SERVQUAL, the efficiency and security of the E-S-QUAL. Inconclusion, this study has empirically significant implications for providing a theoretical foundation for measuring the quality of the Government 2.0 service.
