The academic library development plan has external importance as it explicitly declares the library's role and development direction. Internally, it is also a library service guideline. To develop the development plan, libraries must understand the trends and needs of international, national, and affiliating universities and their constituents. Accordingly, this research includes case, content, and network analyses of foreign academic libraries' development plans to identify the trends. The analysis results show most foreign academic libraries employed various strategies and plans, which can be characterized as 'collaboration,' 'collection development,' and 'research support.' Consequently, we propose the following factors to consider when developing an academic library development plan: specification of mission, vision, and core values; recognition of core values such as diversity, equity, and inclusion; awareness of the significance of collaboration and partnership with other units within the universities and external organizations; and utilization of university library development plans as tools for achieving management objectives.
The purpose of this study is to examine the business model, growth process, and success factors of the successful super app Gojek in the Southeast Asian and Indonesian markets. Gojek's business model analysis focused on the business canvas (9 blocks) that many companies have used to establish business models. Gojek's growth process was analyzed based on timeline. Gojek 1.0 is from the start of the ride hailing service. Gojek 2.0 is a leap forward into a life-friendly platform. Gojek 3.0 is a process of expanding and diversifying domestic and foreign businesses. Gojek 4.0 is a stage of changing to GoTo through mergers with Tokopedia, and setting a higher leap forward. Based on this, the success factors of Gojek are ① Hyperlocalization ② First mobile ③ A company that is loved through mission execution ④ Provide financial inclusion ⑤ Business expansion and diversification through mergers and acquisitions and partnerships ⑥ Entry into overseas markets ⑦ Attracting various partners and investment ⑧ Lock-in effect and hyperpersonalization. The implications obtained through this study and the limitations and direction of the study were discussed.
The bidding phase for logistics outsourcing services is critical for both shippers and logistics companies. According to the logistics bidding phase, the shipper should provide logistics operation information to logistics companies to resolve uncertainty. In addition, the logistics company can win the contract volume that was placed in the bid by expressing their experience and know-how, and proposing to share the risks and benefits of the shipper's logistics operation. Therefore, it is necessary to examine the factors that can be identified during the bidding phase for logistics outsourcing and how these factors affect the satisfaction of logistics outsourcing services. Based on the factors identified in the preceding studies on logistics outsourcing partnership factors and those on logistics outsourcing determinants, a survey was conducted on experts engaged in logistics companies, performing logistics for domestic shippers and analyzed using Smart-PLS. This study presents the following implications. First, in the logistics bidding phase, the shipper should provide its logistics operation information to logistics firms to resolve uncertainties. Details An in-depth explanation of the operation details will be presented via the bidding presentation, and on-site tours of manufacturing plants and logistics centers should also be carried out if necessary. Second, in the bidding phase, logistics companies should appeal through proposals to their competitiveness, such as experience and knowledge of the logistics of the shipper, and also consider alliances with other logistics companies to supplement their insufficient logistics services. Third, logistics companies should make proposals to share profits and risks through logistics outsourcing during the bidding phase, propose accepting risks from environmental uncertainties of the shipper within its capacity to an acceptable extent, and share the benefits of carrying out the shipper's logistics.
With the spread of Artificial Intelligence (AI), various AI-based services are expanding in the financial sector such as service recommendation, automated customer response, fraud detection system(FDS), credit scoring services, etc. At the same time, problems related to reliability and unexpected social controversy are also occurring due to the nature of data-based machine learning. The need Based on this background, this study aimed to contribute to improving trust in AI-based financial services by proposing a checklist to secure fairness in AI-based credit scoring services which directly affects consumers' financial life. Among the key elements of trustworthy AI like transparency, safety, accountability, and fairness, fairness was selected as the subject of the study so that everyone could enjoy the benefits of automated algorithms from the perspective of inclusive finance without social discrimination. We divided the entire fairness related operation process into three areas like data, algorithms, and user areas through literature research. For each area, we constructed four detailed considerations for evaluation resulting in 12 checklists. The relative importance and priority of the categories were evaluated through the analytic hierarchy process (AHP). We use three different groups: financial field workers, artificial intelligence field workers, and general users which represent entire financial stakeholders. According to the importance of each stakeholder, three groups were classified and analyzed, and from a practical perspective, specific checks such as feasibility verification for using learning data and non-financial information and monitoring new inflow data were identified. Moreover, financial consumers in general were found to be highly considerate of the accuracy of result analysis and bias checks. We expect this result could contribute to the design and operation of fair AI-based financial services.
This study conceptualized the essence and propensity of modern management in service age, based on philosophy, and developed items to evaluate the conceptualized content. It was carried out as a new study to deepen the study of management philosophy and management theory by the new management framework. In order to establish the philosophical foundation of the modern management, the essence of the modern management was conceptualized based on the fundamental ideas of the East and West, and then an evaluation item was developed to put the essence and propensity of the modern management into practical use through analytical and empirical methods. After analyzing the representative ideas of mankind, it was derived that the Book of Change has the qualification as a philosophical model that can derive the essence of modern management. The Book of Change explains the reasoning of the world in the structure of two opposing parties, such as Taiji or Yin and Yang, and the process of acknowledging the contradictions within each opposing party and overcoming the contradictions through change is the central idea. Because you can see. After conducting a conceptual study, through empirical research, the essence and propensity of a modern manager should be conceptualized. The concept of essence and empirical study of the modern management using the leading role was conducted in two stages. First, a qualitative study using repetitive comparative analysis (CCM), focus group interview (FGI), and text mining was conducted to derive the essential and propensity conceptualization items that modern managers should possess. In addition, a quantitative study using factor analysis to develop sample items and develop measurement items through literature review and FGI was conducted to derive the essential concept of the modern management. Finally, the essence of modern management was derived: learning, preparation, challenge, inclusion, trust, morality, and sacrifice. In the future, it is necessary to conduct empirical research on the effectiveness of the essence of modern management for global and Korean representative companies.
This study aims to evaluate Person Centered Care practice and characteristics of care services in Korean long-term care facilities using Dementia Care Mapping as a tool. DCM, systematic observational evaluation tool for measuring dementia patients' QOL, was transformed into self-report rating scale. The process of transforming DCM into a scale of 34 items involves operationalization of DCM concepts and it's adaptation into Korean long-term care practices. Review by research team of Bradford university was added to maintain DCM concept and meaning in this scale. The scale with Cronbach alpha of .88 was surveyed on 343 care workers. Survey result shows PCC value practiced by them is 3.77(of 5 likert scale) and values on each categories of PCC reveal the characteristics of care in Korean facilities; attachment(4.02), comfort(3.95), inclusion(3.89), identity(3.67) and occupation(3.41). Dementia care in Korean facilities focuses on recipients'safety, comfort but lacks individualistic care and the meaningful and fulfilling occupation for patients. Looking at the organizational and individual factors influencing DCM values, the small facilities showed higher PCC values and there are no significant difference in PCC values between public and private facilities. Managers and care workers with career of 1~2 years showed higher PCC values compared to other career ranks and lengthes. This study suggests care practice should be centered on personhood of patients in long-term care facilities, for which introduction of unit care and education of PCC for service providers including support personnel are needed. DCM and Korean DCM scale developed in this study are suggested for the PCC-based assessment on care quality.
The development of the traffic system has brought relative reduction in aspect of the cost and time distance on the geographical space. But the coastal passenger boot can't be capable of customers arriving at the port. As a result of this situation, the 'balking' occurs. No 'balking', means the jam of road. In this thesis, by understanding the concept and property of ARENA and simulating operation of coastal passenger boot at Mokpo port, intends to analyze the truth of 'balking' and finds an effective operation method of coastal passenger boot for the solution to the traffic jam. The solution to the jam in the vicinity of port of Mokpo, which try to develop tourism package commodity now, will present the effect of qualitative analysis in giving an opportunity of economic growth of the community, Mokpo.

Transformation towards multicultural society requires discussion on new concepts of citizenship which would overcome some limits of national citizenship developed on the basis of the nation-state. Citizenship can be defined as a relationship between individuals and their community, and conceptualized in a relation with identity. Citizenship also includes its spatial elements such as site and movement, place and public/private space, boundary and territory, flow and network, level and scale, etc. and in particular implies a multi-scalability of local, national, and global level. A new discussion on citizenship has emerged in Japan in shift to multicultural society, especially focusing on activities of local governments and grassroots social movements to support and ensure welfare services to and human rights of foreign immigrants in local communities, hence develops a concept of local citizenship. This concept seems to be highly significant for both foreign immigrants and Japanese dwellers for multicultural coexistence, but raises serious problems of separating local citizenship from formal national citizenship and from universal global citizenship. In order to resolve these problems, a new multiscalar concept of glocal citizenship which links interrelationally local, national and global citizenship. The concept of glocal citizenship is suggested to lead academically a new version of cosmopolitanism which embraces the universal and the particular in a dialectic manner, and to give strategically an alternative to multicultural coexistence policy and discourse and local citizenship discussion in Japan.
This study analyzed the level of digital informatization and the level of human relationship satisfaction in the disabled group. The digital informatization level of the disabled refers to the level of smart access, smart capability, and smart utilization. For the sampling of persons with disabilities, the survey was conducted for persons aged 7 to 69 who were registered under the Welfare for Persons with Disabilities Act. Regression analysis utilized SAS 9.3.s through vitalization of local communities, and information education for the disabled is also important. The analysis results are as follows. First, the higher the digital access level of the disabled, the higher the level of interpersonal satisfaction. Second, the higher the digital information capability level of the disabled, the higher the level of interpersonal satisfaction. Third, the higher the level of digital information utilization of the disabled, the higher the level of interpersonal satisfaction. As a result, the higher the digital information level of the disabled, the higher the satisfaction level in the interpersonal relationship of the disabled. In addition, it was found that careful attention and policy review are needed to resolve the digital information gap of the government for the disabled who are marginalized groups. Therefore, it is necessary to provide the expansion of universal services of the marginalized groups including the disabled. In addition, it is important to form a culture in which the community embraces the marginalized class through vitalization of local communities, and information education for the disabled is also important.
This study is to understand the psychosocial experience in 'Cheonan Warship Incident Survivors'. The study question was how psychosocial experience in The Union of Family Bereaved by Cheonan Warship had been progressed. To answer this question 4 representers ofthe group and 2 reporters had been interviewed using a qualitative research method based on Phenomenology method. From this study the group's experience in had been revealed that they first crisis intervention are to identify and reinforce the strengths and coping skills of a one's family. Second, they gathered their opinion together and assigned the roles to the members, and then, requested what they want responding reasonably. The families' love, the representers' quick judgements and decisions, and the embarrassment of the military and media for the dead, who had been abandoned for long and decayed under the cold ocean, made the national support and respectful treatment possible for the dead and the family. The results of study will be applicable for individuals and groups, who need social work service as an empowerment intervention approach and crisis intervention are to identify and reinforce the strengths and coping skills of a one's family. The social worker's ability to anticipate, understand, and give therapeutic direction to the crisis reaction and the concerns of family members helps to bring around a successful crisis resolution. It is clear to us that wars, suicides, homicides in school settings, disaster and other events are providing unique challenges to social workers who are interested in learning more about the effects such events have on victims of traumatic events.
