A Consideration on the Results of Side Impact and Pole Side Impact Tests in 2011 KNCAP (2011 KNCAP 측면충돌 및 기둥측면충돌 시험결과 고찰)

  • The side impact test in the Korean New Car Assessment program (KNCAP) has been conducted since 2003. The side impact test method has been contributed to the improvement of the vehicle side structure and the enhancement of the occupant protection performance for the domestic vehicles. The pole side impact test method introduced in the KNCAP in 2010 to enhance the head protection under the severe side crash environment. The pole side impact test is optional for the additional score to be added to the overall rating score. The test results of side and pole side impact test for five vehicles were introduced and compared.

  • 본 논문에서는 압전소자를 이용한 에너지 하베스터의 전기적 모델링을 제안하였고 이를 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통해 비교 분석하였다. 에너지 하베스터는 압전소자를 이용한 발전기, 풀브리지 정류기, 평활용 콘덴서, 부하로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 에너지 하베스팅 방법으로 Standard AC 방법과 이에 풀브리지 정류기를 추가한 Standard DC 방법을 사용하였고 전기적 모델링, 시뮬레이션, 실험의 분석을 위해 압전 발전기를 RLC 등가모델로 구성하였다. 에너지 하베스터 실험장치를 구성하였으며, 두 가지의 전력변환 기법 각각 $73.7{\mu}W$, $69.3{\mu}W$를 하베스팅 하는 것을 확인하였다.

  • The purpose of the open die press forging is to maximize the internal deformation for better structural homogeneity and center-line consolidation in case of the ingot. A two and three dimensional viscoplastic finite element analysis is carried out for the plate, cylinder and square forging with the flat die in order to study the forging effects during the process. Effect of width, height reduction, and die staggering are studied through simulation of the process. Thus favorable working conditions are suggested for better and more disirable product quality.

  • In this paper, we introduce the notion of the smoothly perfect 8-connected (SP8C) contour and propose a coding technique for the SP8C contours. Based on the contour simplification using the majority filter proposed by Gu[6], SP8C contours are extracted on the contour lattice from the segmented image. By noting that, unlike the perfect 8-connected contours, the SP8C contours are restricted to travel in only 3 different directions along the contours, we also propose two techniques for encoding the SP8C contours. The one is the modified version of the neighbouring direction segment coding by Kandeko[2], while the other is to employ the notion of the entropy coding. From the comparison in terms of the entropy, it is shown that the proposed SP8C contours require les bits in encoding the diagonal contours than the 4-connected contours employed by Gu. And computer simulations reveal that the contours can be efficiently encoded by the proposed technique.

우리나라 自動車工業의 現況과 課題

  • 금년에 들어와서 자동차의 수효가 급증하여 년말까지는 7만대선을 넘을 것이 예상되며, 승용차의 수출도 의외로 신장하여 상반기중에 2,000대를 수출하게 됨에 따라 정부당국은 자동차공업정책에 큰 수정을 가하고자 하고 있다. 즉 종래의 소극적인 보호육성정책에서 탈피해서 품질, 성능면에서 국제경쟁이 가능한 경제단위의 시설을 갖추도록 하고 기술도입을 적극권장하여 일부품일업제 육 성의 원칙을 이부 지양해서 필요하다면 일부품에 이 또는 삼개의 업체를 선정하여 조립업체와 계 열관계를 만들게 하고 또한 필요한 경우에는 모기업체의 자본참여나 기업합병도 권장한다. 육성 대상으로 선정된 부품업체에 대해서는 총액 약 450역원의 자금을 2,3년간에 걸쳐 지원한다는 것 이 그 골자가 될 것이다. 이를 위한 준비작업으로서의 지난 7월부터 3개월간에 걸쳐 국내기술진 으로 하여금 3개의 자동차조립회사와 부품제조업체의 거의 전부인 179개공장을 정밀조사하고 평 가분석을 실시한 바 있다.

  • Terrestrial Laser Scanning(TLS) was developed at the mid-to-late 1990s. This technique enables to perform reconnaissance surveying of regions or structures hard to access. Besides, TLS has been extended its application gradually such as preservation of historical remains, underground surveys, slopes, glaciers monitoring and so on. However, though the technique has a lot of advantages, an application for structural health and safety monitoring is a beginning stage and it need much research. Therefore in this study, as a groundwork, the estimation model on stress of structures using TLS and Finite Element Method(FEM) applied by the Digital Elevation Model(DEM) technique of geoinformatics is proposed. For the verification of this model, experiments were performed with a continuous steel beam subjected to point loads and outputs were compared with those of electrical strain sensors.

  • It was previously introduced a new displacement measuring technique using terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) that remotely samples the surface of an object using laser pulses and generates the three-dimensional (3D) coordinates of numerous points on the surface. In this paper, for an assessment of the capabilities of the measuring technique about existing structures, the field tests for vertical displacement measurement of an existing long span steel box-girder are experimentally carried out. The performance of the technique is evaluated by comparing the displacements obtained from TLS system and displacements directly measured from linear variable displacement transducer (LVDT).

  • 디지탈 기기를 포함한 일반적인 전기전자기기로 부터 발생하는 방해전자파는, 낮은 주파수 대역(MF, HF 대역)에서는 전원성 등의 도선을 따라서 전달(전도성 방해파)되고, 높은 주파수 대역(VHF, UHF 대역)에서는 직접 공간에 방사(방사성 방해파)된다. 이러한 전도성 및 방사성 방해파의 측정은 IEC, CISPR, FCC, VDE 등의 규격이 정하고 있는 규정에 따라서 실시된다. 이들 규격은 방해파 측정법을 규정하고 있을 뿐만 아니라, 재현성이 좋은 측정을 실현시키기 위해 측정용 시설에 대해서도 자세하게 규정하고 있다. 방사성 방해파의 측정에 사용하는 측정시설로서는, 기본적으로 야외시험장(Open Area Test Site, OATS)을 사용하도록 규정하고 있는데, 측정치의 상호연관성을 위해서는 규약에 정해진 적합성이 평 가되고 확인되어 있어야만 한다. 여기서는 방사성 방해파 측정용 시설중에서 가장 기본적이고도 중요한 야외시험장의 적합성 평가 파 라미터 - 두 지점간의 전송손실, 이를 시험장감쇠량 이라함 - 에 대하여 기술하기로 한다.

  • Musculoskeletal disorders(MSDs) are one of the major issues in shipbuilding industry. Main risk factors of MSDs include manual handling of heavy weight, awkward posture, repetitive tasks, prolonged static muscle contraction, and so on. in this study, Using the three-dimensional digital human modeling and simulation method we made up a worker and work posture on a virtual environment. To verify this simulation we compared both traditional ergonomic analysis on a real worker and digital program analysis on a digital human. And this paper shows that it is possible to reduce the rate of MSDs in the shipbuilding industry because it means we can change poor posture mid surroundings into better ones.

  • The internet SCSI(iSCSI) disk has been studied as a storage system which can be directly connected to TCP/IP network. We designed and implemented a shared disk following the iSCSI protocol and providing cache consistency. It is named as intelligent iSCSI(i$^2$SCSI) disk. The i$^2$SCSI disk provides cache consistency of all blocks that belong to the disk using a conventional lease method and it uses 'contiguous blocks-level locking' The prototype of the i$^2$SCSI disk emulator and its client is designed and implemented in Linux 2.4.
