A Study on Customer's Satisfaction of Web site providing Science & Technology Contents (과학기술 콘텐츠 제공 웹 사이트의 고객만족도에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop the model of the customer's satisfaction score for web site providing science & technology contents. The most important issue for the customer's satisfaction score is providing more appropriate information service about science & technology. Internet questionnaire method was used to collect data of the satisfaction level of customers. Data was collected from December 15th though December 30th, 2002. There were 2, 092 respondents to questionnaire. Statistical analysis were used in this Study. The score of the customer's satisfaction for web site providing science & technology contents is 87.13 which is from our customer's satisfaction score model.

  • 이등분한 실의 주광율(Daylight Factor)의 비를 규제도의 지수로서 Lumen Method와 같이 정하고, 이를 만족하는 실의 깊이를 검토한 후, 설계 평균 주광율을 만족하는 창의 면적을 구하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 창의 면적 자체가 다른 벽면의 면적 변화에 영향을 주고 있음을 고려하지 않은 종래의 방법을 개선하였다. 이후 주광율 요소 중 가장 지배적인 양인 운천공으로부터 입사하는 성분(SCo: Sky Component from overcast Sky)의 분포를 창의 위치와 형태를 변화시켜 조사, 평가하였다.

Average run length calculation of the EWMA control chart using the first passage time of the Markov process (Markov 과정의 최초통과시간을 이용한 지수가중 이동평균 관리도의 평균런길이의 계산)

  • Many stochastic processes satisfy the Markov property exactly or at least approximately. An interested property in the Markov process is the first passage time. Since the sequential analysis by Wald, the approximation of the first passage time has been studied extensively. The Statistical computing technique due to the development of high-speed computers made it possible to calculate the values of the properties close to the true ones. This article introduces an exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) control chart as an example of the Markov process, and studied how to calculate the average run length with problematic issues that should be cautioned for correct calculation. The results derived for approximation of the first passage time in this research can be applied to any of the Markov processes. Especially the approximation of the continuous time Markov process to the discrete time Markov chain is useful for the studies of the properties of the stochastic process and makes computational approaches easy.

  • 현대 기업은 경영 전략의 방향 및 평가를 위하여 고객만족도를 조사한다. 특히 서비스업에서는 많은 경우 SERVQUAL 점수를 이용하여 고객만족도를 평가한다 SERVQUAL은 고객의 기대와 지각의 차이를 조사하여 고객만족도를 평가하며 22 개의 평가항목은 5가지의 품절특성 (유형성, 신뢰성, 대응성, 확신성 공감성)에 대한 SERVQUAL 접수로 산출된다. WSERVQUAL 접수는 SERVQUAL 점수에 단순평균방식과 상대적 중요도를 가중한 가중접수로 계산되는 방법으로 상대적 중요도를 파악하기 위하여 기존에서는 중요도에 대한 고객의 의견을 파악하여 적용하였으나 본 논문에서는 임성욱의 잠재적 고객만족 개선지수 (PCSI Index)를 적용하여 고객의 향후 잠재적 만족개선정도에 관한 내용을 포함한 가중치를 산정할 수 있는 방법론을 제시하였다.

  • The Yule-Walker estimator and the approximate conditional least squares estimator of the parameter of the EARMA(1, 1) model are obtained. These two estimators are compared by simulation study. It is shown that the approximate conditional least squares estimator is better in the sense of the mean square error than the Yul-Walker estimator.

Factors Related to Subjective Well-being of Dental Hygienists (치과위생사의 주관적 안녕감과 관련 요인)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out factors that affect subjective well-being among dental hygienists. The questionnaires were consisted of 7 categories: general characteristics, job characteristic, job satisfaction, job identity, job commitment, Leisure satisfaction and subjective well-being. T-test, ANOVA, multiple linear regression were applied in this analysis. The results are as follows: Job satisfaction, job identity, job commitment and leisure satisfaction had significant influence on positive experience index (p<0.05). Leisure satisfaction was the most significant factor and it positively influences the positive experience index. In order to increase the subjective well-being among dental hygienists, plans that can increase the job satisfaction, job identity, job commitment and leisure satisfaction should be implemented by improving job-related factors.

Estimation of maximum object size satisfying mean response time constraint in web service environment (웹 서비스 환경에서 평균 응답 시간의 제약조건을 만족하는 최대 객체 크기의 추정)

  • One of the economical ways to satisfy the quality of service desired by the user in a web service environment is to adjust the size of the object. To this end, this study finds the maximum size of objects that satisfy this constraint when the mean response time is given below an arbitrary threshold for quality of service. It can be inferred that in the steady state of system, the mean response time in the deterministic model by using the round-robin will be the same as that of the queueing model following the general distribution. Based on this, analytical formulas and procedures for finding the maximum object size are obtained. As a service distribution of web traffic, the Pareto distribution is appropriate, so the maximum object size is computed by applying the M/G(Pareto)/1 model and the M/G/1/PS model using exponential distribution as computational experience. Performance evaluation through numerical calculation shows that as the shape parameter in the Pareto distribution increases, the M/G(Pareto)/1 model and M/G/1/PS model have the same maximum object size. The results of this study can be used to environments where objects can be sized for economical web service control.

Qualitative Analysis of Research Papers of KIGAM World Class Laboratories (WCL) Candidates (논문 질적평가를 통한 KIGAM 세계수준 후보연구실 기술수준 평가)

  • For technology level assessment of KIGAM World Class Laboratories (WCL) candidates, bibliometric and qualitative analysis was conducted on their research papers listed on the SCIE database during 2009-2012. For the six research areas of geoscience and mineral resources, a research excellence indicator was applied using a Modified Rank Normalized Impact Factor (mrnIF), which was introduced by Heo et al. (2008) and Cho (2013). The KIGAM research department in rare metals utilization had the highest score for Impact Factor (IF) per paper in 2012 but the groundwater department or the exploration geophysics department came first based on the position and the mrnIF. Applying the mrnIF, the KIGAM research department in groundwater achieved excellent results in 2009 and 2011 and the urban mine department or exploration geophysics department came first place in other years. In the groundwater area, the percentage of research papers over 80 or 90 mrnIF, using Cho (2013)'s research excellence index, was the highest in 2011. The Cho (2013)'s excellent research indicator, 20%, the ratio of over 90 mrnIF was matched in the urban mining area for the whole research period, 2009-2012, and in the groundwater area for several years except 2010. Qualitative analysis of research papers can show the technology level of research departments. KIGAM World Class Laboratories (WCL) candidates should focus on increasing the quality and the quantity of their research papers.

An approximation method for the ARL and the decision interval in CUSUM control charts (누적합관리도에서 평균런길이의 근사와 결정구간의 설정)

  • Cumulative sum (CUSUM) control charts are widely used in industry for the statistical process control. The statistical design procedure in CUSUM charts tells how to choose the decision interval value. The decision interval is primarily determied by the desired in - control ARL - that is, by the acceptable frequency of false out-of-control signals. In this paper we propose a new approximation method for calculating the ARL and determining the decision interval. The performance of the proposed method is examined by evaluating the accuracy of estimated ARLs and decision intervals in normal and exponential cases.

  • Recently, digital broadcasting service is growing as a TV-based commerce market spread. However, in previous studies, many researchers studied TV home shopping and T-Commerce separately each other, and there is little research on the attribute to increase the satisfaction of consumers. In this study, we analyzed the attribute to increase satisfaction of consumer using TV-based commerce, and we propose to the direction to move forward. We selected characteristics of TV home shopping and T-Commerce through previous studies, and analyzed satisfaction of customers with quality attributes of TV-based commerce using KANO model and ASC(Average Satisfaction Coefficient).
