This study investigated clothing shopping propensity and consumer awareness of Chinese adult men to provide necessary basic data for effective construction to cope with inroads into Chinese men's wear market. Research subjects were Chinese men in big five city (Beijing, Shanghai, Dalian, Harbin, Guangzhou). Returned 863 questionnaires were analyzed by mean, factor analysis, ANOVA, Duncan's Multiple Range, regression analysis with SPSS 10.0. Results of this research were as follows: 1. Chinese men's apparel shopping propensity factors were analyzed by four groups, such as fashion toward propensity, consume propensity, brand loyalty propensity, and casual preference propensity. 2. Consume propensity among 4 factors influenced most on consumer buying awareness. Brand loyalty propensity among 4 factors influenced most on consumer brand awareness. Fashion toward propensity influenced most on consumer fashion awareness. 3. According to region, there were significant differences to four grouped apparel shopping propensities. Harbin, Guangzhou were indicated higher fashion toward propensity than other areas. Guangzhou was indicated higher consume propensity than Dalian. Dalian was showed lower brand loyalty propensity than other areas. Beijing was showed higher casual preference propensity than Guangzhou. According to income, there were significant differences to four apparel shopping propensities. Highest income group was showed higher fashion toward propensity than other income. The higher men earned income, the higher brand loyalty propensity. Highest income group was showed lower casual preference propensity than lowest income.
The purposes of this study were to: 1) identify sub-factors of fashion shopping orientation (FSO) in adults aged 20 through 39, and analyze the differences among those FSO factors according to classified groups, which were based on gender and purchase frequency in a mobile shopping mall, and 2) to investigate the effects of FSO factors on mobile purchase intention according to the same classified groups. The questionnaire was conducted from November 10, 2015 to November 20, 2015 and its 432 respondents were classified into four groups, which were male/heavy purchaser, male/light purchaser, female/heavy purchaser, and female/light purchaser. The results of this study were as follows: First, fashion shopping orientation consisted of five sub-factors, which included "conspicuous brand pursuit", "economic pursuit", "pleasure/trend pursuit", "impulse shopping", and "convenience pursuit". Second, There were significant differences in three factors of FSO between male purchasers and female purchasers. Male purchasers showed higher tendency than female purchasers in "conspicuous brand pursuit", while female purchasers showed higher tendency than male purchasers in "economic pursuit" and "convenience pursuit". All the factors of FSO showed significant differences among the classified groups. Third, "economic pursuit", "pleasure/trend pursuit" and "convenience pursuit" affected mobile purchase intention in the case of male purchasers while "economic pursuit" and "conspicuous brand pursuit" had a influence on mobile purchase intention in the case of female purchasers. Fourth, the factors of FSO affected mobile purchase intention partly in each group. In conclusion. "economic pursuit" was proven to be the main influential factor to induce consumers to have a mobile purchase intention.
This study understood what effect was produced on the purchasing decision making of outdoor wear by a shopping orientation, fashion involvement and demographic characteristics offered practical suggestions as to what effect was produced on the store selection criteria, product selection criteria for purchasing decision making in purchasing outdoor wear. This research was conducted through a questionnaire survey, and 397 males in were collected for analysis. The results were as follows. First, shopping orientation group was classified into hedonic shopping orientation group and utilitarian shopping orientation group. And it was classified into high fashion involvement group and low fashion involvement group according to fashion involvement. Product selection criteria were classified into 2 factors such as intrinsic attributes and extrinsic attributes. And store selection criteria were classified into 4 factors such as store atmosphere, store environment, promotion and salesmen. Second, there was partly significant difference in product selection criteria, and store selection criteria between utilitarian shopping group and hedonic shopping group. Third, there was significant difference in product selection criteria and store selection criteria between high fashion involvement group and low fashion involvement group. Finally, there was significant difference in the and according to age, job, and income among demographic characteristics.
As consumers are increasingly shopping online for fashion products, their return behavior is also increasing. Regarding the factors affecting return behavior, this study explores the effect of the purchasing orientation considering returns that are derived from bracketing purchase behavior, monetary lenient return policies, and non-monetary lenient return policies. Additionally, this study examines the effect of monetary/non-monetary lenient return policies on return behavior, mediated by the purchasing orientation considering returns. This study was conducted through an online survey and 238 data were collected and used for analysis. Two research models were designed for each independent variable of monetary lenient return policies, and non-monetary lenient return policies, and the path of the research model was analyzed using Process Macro 4.0. The study found that the sub-dimensions of return policy - monetary or non-monetary return policies - had different effects on return behavior through purchasing orientation considering returns. Monetary lenient return policies had a positive direct effect on return behavior, and purchasing orientation considering returns mediated the effect of the monetary lenient return policies on return behavior. However, the non-monetary lenient return policies only positively and significantly directly affected return behavior. The findings of this study contribute to understanding consumers' purchasing orientation considering returns. Furthermore, from the effect of the return policy on return behavior, the results are valuable as they can help fashion marketers establish a return strategy.
Recently, our society has been expanding with its consumption of brand products as it is referred to as brand product syndrome. In particular, the trend is that young consumers in 20$\sim$30s prefer the fashion brand product for their wedding. In our study, the lifestyle and shopping tendency of consumers who prefer the fashion brands are found out, and the influence impacted on the intent of repurchase of fashion brand product are clarified through the path analysis with the following outcome. First, for the group factors in life style of the consumers who prefer fashion brand products for wedding, it is shown with the self-advancement type, home striving type, economy striving type, high class brand striving type, and social activity type. Second, as for the factor of shopping tendency of the consumers who prefer fashion brand products for wedding, it appears for the factors of pursuing for enjoyment, pursuing for show off, pursuing for individuality, and pursuing for convenience. And third, when the life style group for high class brand type of consumers goes for shopping for fashion brand for wedding, it displays the shopping tendency for pursuing for enjoyment, pursuing for show off, and pursuing for individuality, and these factors influence the most in the intent to re-purchase of fashion brand goods.
The purpose of this study was to find factors affecting satisfaction and intention to re-purchase fashion goods through social commerce. A questionnaire method was applied for 123 women aged from twenties to thirties, with buying experience in fashion goods through social commerce. Independent variables were service quality, fashion shopping orientation, and demographics. Factor analyses and multiple regression methods were used to analyze data. Factor analyses resulted in two factors for service quality and resulted in four factors for fashion shopping orientation. The results of multiple regression analyses showed that convenience & benefits and site layout factors of the service quality had significant impacts on satisfaction in fashion social commerce. Those two service quality factors, demographics like job, and satisfaction were shown significantly important to predict intention to re-purchase fashion goods on social commerce service. Intention to re-purchase was best explained in the model with satisfaction as an independent variable. Meanwhile, shopping orientation factors were not important in any model.
Fashion store patronage behavior can be observed when consumer's desires and expectations are fulfilled. Thus, in order to achieve successful business in sales, a retailer must continually analyze why target consumers choose particular stores and patronize them. This study identified the relevant factors of the patronage behavior of female college students residing in Seoul. Thus, this study can achieve Its goal of enabling retailers to predict shopping orientations and emphasis on store attributes, so that help retailer to establish new positions of their shops to differentiate them from others and, also, to reposition existing stores. The aims of this study were as follows; First, identify the classification of stores that female college students in Seoul patronize. Second, classify the female students' shopping orientations, emphasizing store attributes, and identify relationships between them and fashion store patronage behavior. Relationships between the factors of shopping orientations and store attributes, and patronage behavior were identified by use of Tukey's test, Duncan test, and ANOVA. As a result, it showed significant differences among patronage groups according to nearly every factor of shopping orientations and store attributes. As based on the results, this study is expected to assist that retailers can establish effective marketing strategies in order to make continuously consumers' partronage behavior of a store.
The purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationship among the pursuit benefits in clothing materials, the attitude toward natural dyeing products, and the purchase intent among consumers interested in natural dyeing products. For this study, 489 men and women in their 20s to 60s were surveyed, and the data was analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 programs. The findings of the analysis were as follows. First, of the pursuit benefits in clothing materials, function and originality factors had a significant and positive impact on the purchase intent of natural dyeing products. Second, of the pursuit benefit of clothing materials, functions, sustainability, and originality significantly and positively impacted the emotional and cognitive attitude toward natural dyeing products. Third, the emotional and cognitive attitude toward natural dyeing products had a significantly positively impacted the purchase intent. Fourth, in the relationship between the pursuit benefits in clothing materials and the purchase intent of natural dyeing products, the emotional and cognitive attitudes toward natural dyeing products were shown to have partial mediating effects.
The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of window information on consumers' willingness to visit a fashion store according to their clothing shopping orientation. The sutjects of the research are conveniently selected females over the age of 20 living in Busan. A total of 202 questionnaire are collected far data analysis. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The factor analysis to identify the clothing shopping orientation showed four factors, such as hedonic, planned, independent/loyalty, and impulsive/convenience. A cluster analysis conducted by the four factors resulted in four patterns - utilitarian shopping orientation group, impulsive/convenience shopping orientation group, hedonic shopping orientation group, independent/loyalty shopping orientation group. 2. The window information conducted by factor analysis were divided into the four levels-product information, promotion information, fashion information, and store image. 3. A one-way ANOVA analysis carried out to find the window information effects among the groups revealed that there were significant differences in the factors of promotion information, fashion information, and store image. 4. Multi-regression analysis was conducted in order to find the impact of window information on the consumers' willingness to visit a fashion store. As a result, fashion information had the most impact on utilitarian shopping group, while product information, promotion information and store image had a great impact on impulsive/convenience shopping orientation group, fashion information and store image had the most impact on hedonic shopping orientation group.

And the result from regression analysis of the ubiquitous 2nd stages and 3rd stages showed that buying facility factor in increasing need recognition, wearable effect factor in fashion information acquisition, giving information factor in have a intention to buy in ubiquitous #3 rendition are most influential.
