A Study on the Operation Status and Improvements of the Libraries' Instagram (도서관의 인스타그램(Instagram) 운영 현황과 개선방안에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, libraries are trying to communicate with users using various social media. Among them, Instagram is the most used SNS by users recently. Therefore, in this study, in order to effectively operate the library Instagram, we looked at how Instagram in the library is operated, what posts and contents people are interested in, and how the library can utilize it. By analyzing the Instagram operation status of Instagram, we tried to suggest improvement plans and activation plans. For this purpose, theoretical background research on SNS and Instagram, analysis of prior research, and related data were collected and analyzed. Next, for 82 domestic library accounts opened on Instagram, the library type, region, and Instagram account number of posts, 'followers', 'follows', images, etc. were collected, and the Text, hashtags, upload date, number of 'likes' and comments were analyzed. As a result of the study, it was found that increasing followers, uploading user-customized posts, formalizing account profiles, using library-specific hashtags, and communication with users are necessary to activate library Instagram.

Chaotic Circuit with Voltage Controllability for Secure Communication Applications (암호통신 응용을 위한 전압제어형 카오스 신호 발생회로)

  • This paper presents a chaotic circuit with voltage controllability for secure communication applications. The proposed circuit which has two control voltages consists of the nonlinear function block(NFB) with three MOS transistors, one source follower and non-overlapping two-phase clock generator for sample and hold. By SPICE simulation, chaotic dynamics such as time waveform, frequency analysis and bifurcations were analyzed. SPICE results showed that proposed circuit can make various chaotic signals by control voltage.

  • This paper presents a temperature analysis of the chaotic behavior in the voltage controlled CMOS chaotic circuit. The circuit is based on a simple nonlinear function block which is needed for chaotic signal generation. It consists of a NFB (nonlinear function block), a level shifter and non-overlapping two-phase clock for sample and hold. By SPICE simulation, chaotic dynamics such as frequency spectra and bifurcations according to the temperature variations were analyzed. And, it was showed that the circuit can generate discrete chaotic signals within control voltage in the range from 1.2 V to 2.3 V in a specific temperature condition of $25^{\circ}C$.

Fashion leaders revisited - The viewpoint of college students as fashion followers - (패션리더에 대한 재고 - 팔로워로서의 대학생 관점 -)

  • As social media has become a part of daily life, new types of online opinion leaders are emerging, and in turn, changes in traditional fashion leaders and leadership are expected. Considering such changes, this study attempted to reexamine fashion leader types and influence characteristics from the perspective of college students as fashion followers. Students were asked to write an essay identifying their fashion leader and how and why they were influenced by him or her. Sixty essays entitled "My Fashion Leader" were collected and content-analyzed. A total of 78 fashion leaders were identified and categorized into four types including celebrities, social media influencers, friends/family/acquaintances, and people seen on the street in order of frequency. Influence characteristics of the identified fashion leaders included superiority, role model, similarity, and familiarity. Similarity was observed across all types of fashion leaders, while superiority and familiarity were identified for celebrities and friends/family/acquaintances, respectively. The results imply that celebrities, mostly those from the TV, movie, and music industries, are still important as fashion leaders in society regardless of their communication style, while friends/family/acquaintances as opinion leaders within a consumer group are important to provide information, advice, and help. However, social media influencers between the two groups are expanding the influence.

  • On the SCM network, there are two type of company, the one which has the powerful position in the decision process is called the leader, and the other company which reacts to the leader's decision is called the follower. This relationship structure effect on the partnership. Therefore this study suggested a research model which would explain the relationship among the bargaining power, partnership, information quality, SCM features. The 116 sets of data collected, which companies use SCM, were tested against the model using SPSS 23 and smartPLS 3.2.3. The results of this study are as follows. First, Bargaining Power had an effect on Influence, Partnership, Information Quality. Second, Influence didn't have an effect on the Partnership and Information Quality. Third, Partnership had an effect on the Information Quality and SCM Flexibility, Agility, Uncertainty Control. Forth, Information Quality had and an effect on the SCM Flexibility, Agility.

Design of the LDO Regulator with 2-stage wide-band OTA for High Speed PMIC (고속 PMIC용 2단 광대역 OTA방식의 LDO 레귤레이터 설계)

  • This paper presents a design of the CMOS LDO regulator with a fast transient response for a high speed PMIC(power management integrated circuit). Proposed LDO regulator circuit consists of a reference voltage circuit, an error amplifier and a power transistor. 2-stage wide-band OTA buffer between error amplifier and power transistor is added for a good output stability. Although conventional source follower buffer structure is simple, it has a narrow output swing and a low S/N ratio. In this paper, we use a 2-stage wide-band OTA instead of source follower structure for a buffer. From HSPICE simulation results using a $0.5{\mu}m$ CMOS standard technology, simulation results were 16 mV/V line regulation and 0.007 %/mA load regulation.

  • WouldYouLike[우주라이크]는 2009년 천문학 전공 대학생들을 중심으로 탄생한 천문우주과학 대중화를 위해 활동하는 비영리 단체이다. 천문우주과학에 대한 정보를 얻기 힘든 사람들을 위해 쉽게 접할 수 있는 콘텐츠를 제작하여 이를 무료로 배포하고 있다. 2012년 무료 배포용 천문학 잡지 우주라이크 창간호를 시작으로 2017년 현재 11호까지 발간되었으며, 이 잡지는 전국 각지의 대학교 캠퍼스와 천문대 및 과학관의 협조를 통해 배포 중이다. 이러한 오프라인 활동과 더불어 SNS(인스타그램, 페이스북)와 홈페이지를 비롯해 현대인들에게 접근성이 높은 온라인 매체를 적극적으로 활용한 천문학 콘텐츠와 팟캐스트 등을 통해 대중에게 다가가고 있다. 특히 우주라이크 페이스북 페이지의 팔로워 수는 약 35,000명이며, 이는 한국천문연구원 페이스북 페이지의 약 6,000명보다 많은 수치이다. 이는 우주라이크 본연의 목적인 천문학 대중화에 우주라이크가 크게 기여하고 있음을 보여준다. 현재 우주라이크는 상기에 기술한 활동들과 함께 NASA에서 운영하는 APOD (Astronomy Picture of the Day)의 한글판 서비스를 공식적으로 번역하여 제공하고 있다. 이 포스터는 국내에서 천문우주과학 대중화의 필요성을 역설하며, 이와 연계해서 우주라이크의 활동 내역과 현재 추진 중인 계획을 소개한다. 그리고 이에 대한 국내 천문학계의 다양한 목소리를 듣고 추후 활동에 반영하고자 한다.

Initial Small Data Reveal Rumor Traits via Recurrent Neural Networks (초기 소량 데이터와 RNN을 활용한 루머 전파 추적 기법)

  • The emergence of online media and their data has enabled data-driven methods to solve challenging and complex tasks such as rumor classification problems. Recently, deep learning based models have been shown as one of the fastest and the most accurate algorithms to solve such problems. These new models, however, either rely on complete data or several days-worth of data, limiting their applicability in real time. In this study, we go beyond this limit and test the possibility of super early rumor detection via recurrent neural networks (RNNs). Our model takes in social media streams as time series input, along with basic meta-information about the rumongers including the follower count and the psycholinguistic traits of rumor content itself. Based on analyzing millions of social media posts on 498 real rumors and 494 non-rumor events, our RNN-based model detected rumors with only 30 initial posts (i.e., within a few hours of rumor circulation) with remarkable F1 score of 0.74. This finding widens the scope of new possibilities for building a fast and efficient rumor detection system.

Examine the Influence of the Fellowship of an Organization Empowerment of Security Officer (민간경비원의 팔로워십이 조직 임파워먼트에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the fellowship of an organization empowerment of security officers. By using stratified cluster random sapling, 264 people from private security enterprises which are located in Seoul, 2009, were selected as final samples. However, the cases used in the final analysis were counted as 238. The reliability of the questionnaire used in the study was measured by Cronbach's $\alpha$ statistics, being over .761. The collected data were analyzed by factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, F-test, and multiple regression etc., using SPSSWIN 17.0. The conclusions were drawn as following. First, there are difference in fellowship according to the demographic characteristics of security officers. Second, there are difference in organization empowerment according to the demographic characteristics of security officers. Third, the fellowship of security officers affects an organization empowerment. That is to say, when vigorous and active participation, and independent and critical thinking are perceived more highly, the intensity of influence, meaning, capability, and self-determination increase.

A Study on the Optimization of Library SNS Marketing (도서관 SNS 마케팅 활성화 방안에 관한 연구)

  • With increasing interest in content marketing, SNS (social networking services) has become more popular as a method of library marketing, both at home and abroad. Accordingly, this study analyzed the operational status and problems of library SNS marketing, in an attempt to find ways to optimize its use. Results show that librarians' opinions of library marketing and library SNS marketing were very high, but the problems they faced included a lack of human resources dedicated to marketing, lack of marketing education, a lack of content to upload each week, and low numbers of contacts on social networking sites. To further develop and optimize library SNS marketing, five solutions were suggested based on the survey results: first, composing an intensive managing team for effective SNS operation; second, providing different levels of marketing training to decrease the librarians' mistakes; third, updating data continuously; fourth, providing information and services users need; and lastly, clearly identifying each channel's active operation goals.
