Multivariate Outlier Removing for the Risk Prediction of Gas Leakage based Methane Gas (메탄 가스 기반 가스 누출 위험 예측을 위한 다변량 특이치 제거)

  • In this study, the relationship between natural gas (NG) data and gas-related environmental elements was performed using machine learning algorithms to predict the level of gas leakage risk without directly measuring gas leakage data. The study was based on open data provided by the server using the IoT-based remote control Picarro gas sensor specification. The naturel gas leaks into the air, it is a big problem for air pollution, environment and the health. The proposed method is multivariate outlier removing method based Random Forest (RF) classification for predicting risk of NG leak. After, unsupervised k-means clustering, the experimental dataset has done imbalanced data. Therefore, we focusing our proposed models can predict medium and high risk so best. In this case, we compared the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, accuracy, area under the ROC curve (AUC), and mean standard error (MSE) for each classification model. As a result of our experiments, the evaluation measurements include accuracy, area under the ROC curve (AUC), and MSE; 99.71%, 99.57%, and 0.0016 for MOL_RF respectively.

  • This paper discusses a sampled-data controller design problem for nonlinear systems including singular perturbation. The concerned system is assumed to be modeled in Takagi--Sugeno (T--S) form. By introducing a novel Lyapunov function and an identity equation, the stability of the sampled-data closed-loop dynamics of the singularly perturbed T--S fuzzy system is analyzed. The design condition is represented in terms of linear matrix inequalities. A few discussions on the development are made that propose future research topics. Numerical simulation shows the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • The current paper presents an effective deblocking algorithm for block-based coded images using singularity detection in a wavelet transform. In block-based coded images, the local maxima of a wavelet transform modulus detect all singularities, including blocking artifacts, from multiscale edges. Accordingly, the current study discriminates between a blocking artifact and an edge by estimation the Lipschitz regularity of the local maxima and removing the wavelet transform modulus of a blocking artifact that has a negative Lipschitz regularity exponent. Experimental results showed that the performance of the proposed algorithm was objectively and subjectively superior.

  • This paper is concerned with the problem of designing a guaranteed cost state feedback controller for singular systems with time-varying delays. The sufficient condition for the existence of guaranteed cost controller, the controller design method, and the optimization problem to get the upper bound of guaranteed cost function are proposed by LMI(linear matrix inequality), singular value decomposition, Schur complements, and change of variables. Since the obtained sufficient conditions can be changed to LMI form, all solutions including controller gain and the upper bound of guaranteed cost function can be obtained simultaneously. Moreover, the proposed controller design method can be extended to the problem of robust guaranteed cost controller design method for singular systems with parameter uncertainties and time-varying delays. The validity of the proposed design algorithm is investigated through a numerical example.

  • This paper deals with structured singular value and mixed sensitivity problem for robust performance. We derive the sufficient condition that mixed sensitivity problem satisfies structured singular value in robust performance problem. And we show the bound of perturbation between structured singular value and norm of mixed sensitivity functions.

  • In this paper the affect an inorganic filler and a f i n g up water absorption in epoxy composite material was represented. The results are summarized as follows ; 1. In the case of Sample 1, Sample 2 and a fillng up water absorption, the frequency depenence of E,' shows the straight characteristic underl4O0C. 2. Between lOOHz and 3kHz, the frequency dependency of tan8 is dominated by the loss of a dipole relaxation than the conductive loss for movement of a career. The effect of water absorption, is increased as the frequency is d e creased.

  • Isolation tables are widely used for precision equipments and their isolation performances have been usually expressed and evaluated by transsmissibility. However, transmissibility is a concept for 1-degree of freedom(DOF) system. In practice, isolation tables are supproted by more than 4 springs. Each spring is subjected to vertical and horizontal ground vibrations, and also the table has more than 1-DOF. Therefore, isolation tables should be treated as multi-input/multi-output(MIMO) system of which isolation performance is expressed by transmissibility matrix. However, the matrix is too complicated to be an index for a system. In this paper, maximum singular value of transmissibility matrx is suggested as a simple performance index of a MIMO isolation system. Physical meaning of singular value is explained using a simple a 2-DOF isolation table. Furthermore, maximum singular values of passive, 3-DOF active and 6-DOF active isolation tables are obtained through experiments, and their meaning are explained and compared with each other.

  • In this paper, we propose the image watermarking method for good compression ratio and satisfactory image quality of the cover image and the embedding image. This method is based on the singular value decomposition and the vector quantization using fuzzy c-mean clustering. Experimental results show that the embedding image has invisibility and robustness to various serious attacks. The advantage of this watermarking method is that we can achieve both the compression and the watermarking method for the copyright protection simultaneously.

Ascitic Fluid Analysis for the Differentiation of Malignancy-Related and Nonmalignant Ascites (악성 복수와 비악성 복수의 감별을 위한 복수액 분석)

  • The differentiation between malignancy-related ascites(MRA) and non-malignant ascites (NMA) is important for further diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Although many parameters were investigated, none has provided a complete distinction between MRA and NMA. We investigated several ascitic fluid parameters to determine the differential power, and to differentiate malignant-related from nonmalignant-related ascites with a sequence of sensitive parameters followed by specific parameters. For the present study, 80 patients with ascites were divided into two groups: MRA and NMA, The MRA group was consisted of 27 patients with proven malignancy by image study, biopsy, and follow up: 21 of these patients had peritoneal carcinomatosis, but the remaining 6 showed no evidence of peritoneal carcinomatosis. The NMA group was consisted of 53 patients with no evidence of malignancy: among these patients, one had SLE, and others had liver cirrhosis, The samples of blood and ascites were obtained simultaneously, and then the levels of ascites cholesterol, CEA. protein and LDH, cytology, albumin gradient, ascites/serum concen-tration ratios of LDH(LDH A/S), and ascites/serum concentration ratios of protein(protein A/S) were measured. Applying cut-off limits for determined parameters, we estimated the diagnostic efficacy of each parameter, Among the eight parameters investigated, ascites fluid cholesterol yielded the best sensitive value of 93%(cut-off value 30mg/dl), and cytologic examination and the protein A/S(cut-off value 0.5) showed the most specific value of 100% and 96%, respectively. Based on the above results, the diagnostic sequence with cholesterol as a sensitive parameter followed by the combination of cytologic examination and protein A/S as specific parameters, was tested in 80 patients. This diagnostic sequence identified 81.5% of patients with malignancy, and all patients with peritoneal carcinomatosis were classified as malignancy-related ascites. In spite of many limitations, this proposed diagnostic sequence may permit a cost-effective and simple differentiation of malignancy-related ascites from nonmalignant ascites.

열하중을 받는 이종재 V-노치 균열의 응력강도계수 해석

  • V-노치 균열에서 열하중이 작용하는 경우는 비제차형 경계조건의 문제가 되고, 이 조건에 대한 방정식의 일반해를 구하기 위해서 재차형 연립방정식에 대한 일반해(Homogeneous solution)와 비제차형 연립방정식에 대한 특수해(Particular solution)의 두 가지 해를 구할 수 있다. 이들 해는 V-노치 균열에 대한 고유치가 되고 이 고유치가 중복근을 가지게 되는 경우에는 로그항(1n[r])이 나타나게 되고 이 항에 의해서 응력을 무한대로 발산시키므로 이를 대수응력특이성이라 한다. 열하중이 작용할 때 대수응력특이성을 나타내는 로그항의 계수가 영(0)이 되어 대수응력특이성이 사라지게 되므로 V-노치 선단에서의 응력특이성은 고유치와 그에 대한 고유벡터에 의해 결정된다. 본 논문에서는 비정상상태 열하중이 가해지는 등방성 이종재료 내의 V-노치 균열문제에서 패기 각도와 이종재료의 기계적 성질에 의해 결정되는 응력특이성지수를 구하고 이에 대한 응력강도계수를 유한요소해석 프로그램인 ANSYS와 상반일 경로 적분법(RWCIM)을 이용하여 구하였다.
