The new town was assumed that there is a difference between the country's elementary school environment. First, given the important elements of the school safety plan in order to verify this, and we plan to set up each of these elements by safety criteria. In the second chapter in order to achieve the objective of this study was to develop indicators to evaluate the safety of the school environment influences the safety of the school environment through the theoretical consideration. In Chapter 3, the difference in safety through the new elementary school survey of metropolitan areas was given a score per item per item depending on the evaluation criteria. The fourth section is the difference between safety school environment can be summarized as the following analytical results that the difference between the new city. The results of this study as follows: First, the characteristics of the elementary school environment showed a significant difference between the new town. Second, school location, terrain characteristics, bike paths and pedestrian to the installation, the safety of landscape installations, installing median barriers, traffic safety facilities, speed bumps, separation of pedestrian and vehicle circulation in the front door, scores of elements of the plan such as parking scheme there is a difference between the new town. Third, the introduction of elements of the plan such as Traffic calming or Traffic Island installation techniques was found lacking.

일반적으로 대학교에서 제공하는 통학버스 애플리케이션은 버스의 위치나 도착시각 같은 정보를 제공해주기 위해서 GPS 수신기와 같은 추가 장비를 설치해야 하는 비용 문제로 인해 버스 시간표, 노선도 등 단편적인 정보만을 제공해주고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이에 대한 해결방안으로 실시간 도로 교통 정보가 반영된 네이버 길 찾기 API를 사용하여 버스 도착시각을 학생들에게 제공해주는 통학버스 애플리케이션을 설계한다. 현재 단편적인 정보만을 제공해주는 대학교 통학버스 애플리케이션에 도입된다면 대학교 학생들의 통학버스 이용의 질을 향상할 수 있을 것이다.

This study attempts to examine the location and district of elementary schools at Chongro-gu. For the convenience of the analysis, the data are analysed with the methods of GIS network model. For the purpose data was collected from Statistical Yearbook of Education in 1994 and Census of Housing and Population in 1990. Results may be summarized as follows. First of all, spatial pattern of elementary school at Chongro-gu shows outward diffusion because of problems, rising of land value, and out-migration of population in the area. Secondly, for the analysis of locational situation this paper uses the data such as population of 5-9 age, the number of housing, accessibility, and land value. The location of elementary school is ciassified into 4 types; the best area, better area, worse area, the worst area. The best area is Pyongchana-dong, Buam-dong, and Ewha-dong and the worst area is Chongro 1ga-dona, Chonaro 2ga-dong and Sechongno-dong. Thirdly, the alternative plans of school district are presented for the maximum equity and efficience, and security of school attendantes. The former emphasizes the minimization of commuting distance, the later emphasizes the minimization of the an comfortable facilities such as main streets in school district. Present school district which is based upon administrative dong should be changed to roadbased school district.

Unplanned growth of the city was established, despite many elementary, School facilities outside the city is still lacking. Basically should be able to walk to school through elementary school in the case of excessive distance, issues such as unsafe in the school environment and the school, overcrowding, excessive relieve classroom learning environment, with the improvement of the overall situation is necessary. In this study, the status for local public elementary school environment, research and analysis, case studies, research, and through community and resolve problems derived as a school bus for the introduction of alternative feasibility analysis.

Accidents of commuting vehicles for kindergarteners and nursery school students continue to occur despite various safety policies from the government. In order to minimize such accidents, it is necessary to use both the vehicle-mounted safety commutation management software which can be easily operated by the driver, and the mobile app to manage the safe schooling of the children that can inform such information to parents timely. In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of the safety management software architecture.

Despite the legal and institutional measures that have been enacted for the safety management of school facilities, the number of school accidents has continued to rise, particularly in regards to the number of accidents related to schools. However, school facilities have had a difficult time creating safe school environments for the school administration and local governments. This is due to the fact that the Office of Education and the Ministry of Education, not the school or educational offices, have insufficient institutional devices such as standards and systems for the promotion of safe school environments. This study attempted to confirm the direction of the improvement of the safety of school facilities. To this end, four safety assessment topics (separation of pedestrians, pedestrian path management, pedestrian visibility, and surrounding risk factors) were derived based on the surveyed data for the safety of the external environment of domestic and international school facilities. 179 school facilities nationwide (kindergartens, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and special schools) were analyzed for current cases of accidents that occurred mainly on school roads. Roughly 50% of the analyzed evaluation scores showed that it is necessary to improve the external environment of school facilities.

In order to prove the hypothesis that the element of school location planning - the density of development, availability of various private institutes, the location of school, the type of school district, the distance to nearby schools, the existence of communal areas, the pedestrian street, the number of road lanes - affects the increase and decrease of the number of students in the long term, we examined the tendency of the number of long-term (24 years). The results of the analysis are as follows: First, the development factors such as development density, location of school, type of school district, distance from neighboring schools, separation of pedestrians and cars are clearly related. Second, the planning factors such as location of private school and installation of pedestrian-only street seem to be related to each other. Third, the number of road lanes and element of "communal area" is irrelevant. This study is limited to generalization of five new metropolitan cities in the metropolitan area, and it is necessary to further elaborate the analysis factors and evaluation criteria.

The incident during commuting to school happened frequently in these days, such that the government announced the student commuting safety policy for addressing to implement the safety management system of the unsafer school commuting zone. In this paper, a commuting tracking system is proposed that notifies the location of vehicles and the boarding status of student using BLE beacon and smart phone GPS function. The commuting tracking system that gets the data from the system server of driver's smart phone GPS location and UUID of the beacon which had provided students has configured to provide notifications to parents and related administrators. It provides real-time information about whether a student boarding, boarding times and bus locations for parents and administrators. It verifies the disembarking time for each student and also provides to driver to secure if any student tries to board the wrong school bus and if any students is left behind in the bus.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a scheme to provide children safer and more comfortable walking circumstances by survey current walking circumstances of schoolzone ways. A scheme suggested in this study was based on the analysis of survey to elementary school in 3 Newtowns(Dongtan, Dongbaek and Gumdan City) and actually surveyed data on school zone, the scheme can be summed up as follows; First, to avoid pedestrian roads being interrupted and to expend waiting space near schoolzone ways, several measures are needed including fixing roads and building additional gateway. Second, pedestrian crossings in front of school gate should be located at least 30m away from the left side of the gate. Third, to secure pedestrians' safety in school zone ways should be planed and established more security concepts und facilities.
