Design and Implementation of Learning Evaluation Announce Systems using Mobile Learning Device (무선 학습 도구를 이용한 학습평가결과 안내시스템의 설계 및 구현)

  • This study was about design and development of the 'Mobile Learning Evaluation Announced System'(MLEAS), which could operate the e-learning and send the result of that to the parents. From this, teachers and parents can communicate with each other dynamically. Especially, this system does not simply present results of students 'learning but provide the extra learning which can make up for students' wrong questions in the base of the evaluation standard. This paper suggests this total learning solution so that parents can perceive the state of their children's learning under the mobile learning environment.

  • 오늘날과 같이 과학기술과 정보통신 기술의 급속한 발달로 인터넷이 다르게 성장하였으며 이로 인하여 다양한 학습용 사이트가 운영되고 있다. 따라서 웹상의 교육정보가 기하급수적으로 증가되었고, 이러한 교육용 웹 자료를 컴퓨터 보조 학습 매체로 활용하고 있다. 또한 CAI(Computer Assisted Instruction), ICAI(Intelligent CAI) 나 ITS(Intelligent Tutoring System) 등을 통해 컴퓨터를 수업매체로 활용하는 방법도 많이 연구되고 있다. 하지만 현재까지 개발된 대부분의 ITS들은 CAl나 ICAI의 이론적 특징을 살릴 수 있을 만큼 진보되어있지 못한 실정이다. 특히 현행 교육과정이 지향하고 있는 수준별 교육과정에 적합하지 않고 학생들의 능력, 적성, 필요, 흥미에 대한 개인차를 고려하지 않으며, 학생 개개인의 성장 잠재력과 교육의 효율성을 극대화하지 못하고 있다. 그리고 학습자가 원하는 요구를 정확하게 파악하여 학습효과를 향상 시킬 수 있는 방법을 제공하고 있지 않다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 학습자들의 개인차 변인을 파악하여 학습자의 요구나 능력에 맞게 학습자의 학업성취를 평가할 수 있고, 수준별 교육과정에서 학습 능력이 떨어지는 학생의 학습 결손을 예방할 수 있도록 인터페이스 모듈, 학습자 모듈, 교수전략 모듈, 전문가 모듈을 가진 자기 주도적 학습을 위한 웹 기반의 MITS(Multimedia ITS: MITS)를 설계하였으며, MITS의 각 모듈들이 효율적으로 상호작용 할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안하였다.

Development and implementation of a project-based learning model using CMC and situated evaluation with message analysis (통신망을 활용한 프로젝트 학습 모형의 개발 및 적용과 메시지 분석을 이용한 상황적 평가)

  • In this study we try to design and develop a mixed model of project-based learning with internet. In order to support the developed model, we separately developed a web-based tool, called Project Learning BBS. The classroom teaching for advertisement-photo production with the model has been carried out during May-July in 2002 and March-July in 2003 respectively with 40 students each. The overall activities of group collaborative work done during the teaching periods have been formatively evaluated with classroom observation, interviews and students' portfolios that were related to the processes of photo planning, video shooting and editing. It has also investigated how the students involved the web-based group discussion activities. In short, data analysis indicated that the participants accepted the proposed project-based learning model for their learning events in a positive way in order to increase the utilization of CMC.

Development of a Hole Cup Recognition Model on Golf Green Using Object Detection Technology (물체 탐지 기술을 사용하여 골프 그린에서 홀 컵 인지 모델 개발)

  • This paper is a study on the development of an artificial intelligence model that recognizes a hole cup on a golf green. A CNN-based object detection algorithm was used to recognize the hole cup on the green. Also, Apple's CreateML was used to create a model of the object detection algorithm. This paper created a JSON file with 120 training images and annotations to meet the needs of CreateML. In addition, for more accurate learning, data amplification algorithm was used for learning data and 288 learning data were used for learning. By changing the Iterations, Batch size, and Grid size required by CreateML, we found parameter values that improve the performance of the model. A prototype app was developed by applying the developed model, and performance was measured on an actual golf course green using the prototype app. As a result of the measurement, it was found that the hole cup was accurately recognized within 10m, which is the typical golfer's putting distance.

  • 인구 감소에 따른 입학자원의 감소로 인해 대부분의 대학이 어려움을 겪고 있는 교육 환경 속에서 대학이 생존과 양질의 교육을 위해 모색하고 있는 것 중의 하나는 융합교육이다. 본 연구에서는 수요자 모두가 만족할 수 있는 융합교육을 실시하기 위하여 교수자와 학습자의 융합교육에 대한 인식과 희망 융합 학문 분야 등을 조사 분석하여 전문대학의 융합교육에 필요한 학문 분야별 요소들을 도출하고자 하였다. 특히, IT 분야에 대한 교수자와 학습자들의 융합 희망 분야에 대한 인식 비교를 통해 향후, IT 분야 융합교육의 운영에 대한 방안을 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다.

  • Development of computer and internet has permitted cyber education transcending time and space, which escapes traditional classroom. As a result, the study of learner's own leading in Web-based instruction environment can be possible. In order to perform it effectively, suitable helps and advices, called scaffolding, must be offered. In this pater, we select a principle of computer in information technology basic subject of technical high school, and design and implement the web contents that provide the proper scaffolding for learners.

  • The objectives of this study are to study and propose the learning elements and it's teaching methods for Information Ethics by expert survey. In recent days, Internet is the new field of our living, but teaching the students in elementary and secondary schools the subject of Information Ethics which purpose is to have positive attitude of utilizing Internet is not properly executed. The first step to teach Information Ethics in schools is to choose the learning elements in Information Ethics. Therefore, this paper is to choose the learning elements and re-arrange them with point of view to elementary and secondary schools. And more, in order to teach the students the learning elements of Information Ethics effectively, we propose the proper teaching methods to the learning elements by teacher's survey. The learning elements and teaching methods in Information Ethics is not the perfect guide to teach students in school, but the output of this study will be the good guide to revise the Information Ethics-related curriculums and product the textbooks about Information Ethics.

  • The teaching plan is an important material for teaching and learning, and it goes through many hardships to make out it. Although these materials have been shared through web and referenced for making their teaching plan by other teachers, it has been little utilized yet in learning. In this paper, we proposed a strategy for utilizing the teaching plan as a useful material in learning and had developed the web-based system for managing and utilizing the teaching plan based on the strategy.

  • Recently, Internet utilization ratio of elementary school students is urgently increasing. On the other hand, elementary school students are not doing personal information management properly in the Internet. As a result, it is causing problem of information leakage. In this paper, we proposed a instructional learning method to teach importance of personal information management to an elementary school student. Proposed method is based on role-play instructional learning method. And applied to the third-year class in elementary school. We show that proposed method is effect in education than traditional teaching method about personal information management's importance.

Analysis of Learners' Preferences for Computer Solving Methods (학습자의 컴퓨터 문제해결 선호방법 분석)

  • Collaboration and assistance among peer learners are essential factors for successful learning outcomes. However it is important to investigate students' preferences for computer problem solving methods and interrelationships, since students tend to solve problems more and more by themselves. This is because of the importance of giving appropriate instructions to students. In this context, this paper shows the analysis of the preferred methods and interrelationships of studnets' preferences upon encountering difficulties during computer usage by collecting data from 231 students in K national university of education. As a result, the result shows that students tend to solve problems without asking as they have higher abilities in computer usage, which was also shown to increase along with their grade levels. Furthermore, it showed that students who have family members and relatives, and who are using the internet are more satisfied with their problem solving. Lastly, it is possible to grasp the computer problem solving network within the department by using social network analysis, so it can be used as reference data for selecting the peer learners, which will help to operate the customized computer education practice.
