  • 국내외적으로 컴퓨팅 사고와 컴퓨터 프로그램 코딩 교육에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 그리고 많은 대학들이 소프트웨어 관련 학과를 비롯하여 비 전공 학과에 컴퓨팅 사고 및 프로그램 코딩 교과목을 개설하고 있는 상황이다. 따라서 본 논문은 소프트웨어 비 전공자를 대상으로 컴퓨팅 사고 개념에 기초해서 프로그램 코딩 교육을 보다 효과적으로 수행할 수 있는 피지컬 컴퓨팅 코딩 교육 방법에 대하여 기술한다.

A study on the effect of the extracurricular activity management system on user satisfaction (비교과통합관리시스템이 사용자 만족에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • This study analyzed the effect of the extracurricular activity management system on user satisfaction. For this purpose, the effects of content, navigation, screen frame, design, interaction, and error handling factors on user satisfaction were analyzed. A survey was conducted on 321 students of K University located in Chungcheongbuk-do, and the research results based on the survey contents are as follows. First, content, navigation, screen frame, interactivity, and error handling, which are major elements of the extracurricular activity management system, showed statistically significant results. Second, interactivity and error handling were found to have the greatest influence on the factors affecting user satisfaction of the extracurricular activity management system. In this study, it was found that the interaction of the whole system including contents is important for continuous improvement of the extracurricular activity management system, and that it has a positive effect on user satisfaction when prompt error handling is possible.

  • 본 논문에서는 오토마타를 활용한 창의 융합 교육으로 학생들에게 기술과 공학 그리고 예술의 융합적 상상력을 불어넣을 수 있는 교육과정을 제안하고 이를 통해 인지능력과 감정조절, 그리고 공감 능력을 향상시키는 것을 가능하게 하는 사회정서학습인 SEL(Social and Emotional Learning)을 수행할 수 있도록 한다. 제안하는 프로그램을 통해 학생들의 감성을 자극하고 새로운 생각을 유도함으로써 올바른 인성을 가질 수 있도록 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 컬-덤벨 운동의 연속, 반복적인 근 수축/이완 동작에 대한 전환 시점을 검출하기 위한 EMG(Electromyogram) 신호 분석 모듈을 설계하였으며 이에 대한 안드로이드 플랫폼 기반의 테스트 프로그램을 구현하였다. 제안하는 모듈로는 무산소 운동 분석에의 활용도가 높은 EMG 신호를 기반으로 근 수축/이완의 전환 시점을 95% 검출하며, 이를 개선 및 확장함으로써 현재 상용화 및 보급화된 운동 가이드 시스템에서 제공할 수 없었던 무산소 운동의 체계적 가이드를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • This study analyzed the learning effect on K-MOOC. It was confirmed how the ease and interaction of K-MOOC affects learning satisfaction and Learning Persistence. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was found that the interaction and ease of K-MOOC learners had a positive effect on learning satisfaction. Second, it was found that the ease and interaction of K-MOOC learners had a positive effect on the Learning Persistence. Third, the satisfaction and willingness of learners with prior course experience of K-MOOC learners were high, and there was a significant difference according to the course experience. This study is meaningful in that the effect of actual learning activities was verified for K-MOOC learners. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to conduct a comparative study on the K-MOOC activation plan and the case of using K-MOOC at each university.

Citizenship in the Age of Glocalization and Its Implication for Geography Education (글로컬 시대의 시민성과 지리교육의 방향)

  • This study is to try to find citizenship needed in the age of glocalization and its implication for geography education. With formation of nation-state after modern, the rights and duties are applied to members of a state in a given territory. But Although states grant de jure citizenship, identity as a citizen is increasingly seen as something that is gained beyond and below the state. Citizenship might be conceived as relational rather than absolute, something that is constituted by its connections or network with different people and places rather than something defined by the borders of the nation-state. New space of citizenship has multiple dimension, and is fluid, mobile, multidimensional, transnational, negotiative. Citizenship operates in an increasingly complex web of overlapping spaces, and is reconceptualized as multiple citizenship based on multiscale. Citizenship should now be thought of as multi-level, reflecting individuals simultaneous membership of political communities at a variety of spatial scales and perhaps of non-territorial social groups. Thus, Citizenship education through geography should focus more on interconnected and layered multiple citizenship than bounded national citizenship.

BCDR algorithm for network estimation based on pseudo-likelihood with parallelization using GPU (유사가능도 기반의 네트워크 추정 모형에 대한 GPU 병렬화 BCDR 알고리즘)

  • Graphical model represents conditional dependencies between variables as a graph with nodes and edges. It is widely used in various fields including physics, economics, and biology to describe complex association. Conditional dependencies can be estimated from a inverse covariance matrix, where zero off-diagonal elements denote conditional independence of corresponding variables. This paper proposes a efficient BCDR (block coordinate descent with random permutation) algorithm using graphics processing units and random permutation for the CONCORD (convex correlation selection method) based on the BCD (block coordinate descent) algorithm, which estimates a inverse covariance matrix based on pseudo-likelihood. We conduct numerical studies for two network structures to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed algorithm for the CONCORD in terms of computation times.

  • Dangsan forests are traditional village forests which have been established by local residents. They represent unique cultural landscape of Korea with a history of more than several hundred years. It is necessary for a cultural contents to have locality and globality so as to represent Korea. Cultural heritage can retain their value when they are fully sustained their authenticity and management scheme. Although many Dangsan forests have been on the verge of disappearance, the four villages in Sinwon-ri have retained Dangsan forests with Dangsan ritual. In this study, a designation of 'Conservation area of agricultural landscape ecology' including Dangsan forests, Bibo forests, rice paddy field, and stream in Sinwon-ri was suggested. This 'Conservation area of agricultural landscape ecology' can be developed to unique glocal cultural content of rural Korea, and will contribute to enhance the value of the Dangsan forest's, and revitalization of rural villages.

An Education Method of Computational Thinking using Microbit in a Java-based SW Lecture for Non-major Undergraduates (비전공자 대상 Java SW교육 강좌에서 마이크로비트를 이용한 컴퓨팅적 사고과정 교육 방법)

  • In the case of Java programming education for non-major undergraduates, there are no examples of applying the physical computing education method. The advantage of physical computing education is that you can directly check the SW processing output result according to the input value of digital and analog sensor, so that you can quickly correct programming errors and improve learner's learning interest and satisfaction. In this paper, we use the microbits to combine physical computing education with basic Java programming education. In addition, according to the computational thinking process, we proposed an educational method for creating Java programs using microbits. Through block programming to control the microbits, we designed an algorithm and applied a training method to convert it into a Java program. In addition, the results of students' evaluations were analyzed in the course applying the education method, and the effectiveness of the education method using the microbit was analyzed.
