Uncertainty in the employment market from the COVID-19 created incomplete employment. As a result, job seekers were required to have overqualifications than job requirements. In previous studies, overqualified workers by incomplete employment were not satisfied with their jobs. A representative result is the intention to change jobs. However, within COVID-19, the perceived overqualification of workers will appear differently. This is because in a rapidly increased employment competition environment due to COVID-19, it will appear as loyalty to maintain a stable job. As a result of this study, work experience was the greatest benefit and high risk for office workers. In addition, both the benefits and risks of overqualification affected loyalty. Unlike the negative impact as in previous studies, workers tried to remain stable at work in an unstable employment environment caused by COVID-19.

This study was conducted to examine the policies and current status of career education at universities and to compile foundational data for improving career education through an analysis of undergraduate's career awareness and career education programs. The data was collected by restructuring career education-related items from a career awareness survey conducted on 1,322 enrolled students at G University. Analyzing students' career awareness based on their year and major, a cross-analysis was conducted, while the preference for career education programs was analyzed using descriptive statistics. Based on the research findings, the proposal was made to strengthen career exploration programs through self-understanding, expedite the timing of career decision-making, and highlight the necessity of developing career education programs tailored to individual career readiness levels.
This study analyzed the teaching and learning support web services of health-specialized colleges. It was searched for educational innovation and teaching and learning support on the portal site. Web services related to teaching and learning at eight health-specialized colleges were classified into five categories. CTL web service support, teaching support, learning support, CTL introduction, and differentiated web services were analyzed. Teaching and learning support and CTL introduction web services were subdivided and operated, and web services that increased access to teaching and learning support were provided to teachers and students by preparing for national exams. Students at health-specialized colleges must pass the national examination to get a job, and the quality of teaching and learning needs to be improved. Therefore, the excellence of providing teaching and learning programs is required for junior college teachers and students. Based on this study, it is expected to improve the quality of web services for teaching and learning support in specialized health colleges.
In this study, we expected the perceived difference of job calling and decent jobs between recent generation and baby-boomer and eco baby-boomer generation. Understanding perceptions of jobs by current generation that are perceived as lifetime jobs rather than lifetime workplace will make some valuable contributions to future job research and policy. The aim of the study was to examine the subjective perception of decent jobs among university students who are ready to go to labor market. By using Q methodology, we extracted 291 Q statements and 47 Q samples. In addition, 31 subjects classified Q samples into Q distributed tables. We used Ken-Q Analysis program. In the results, we found five types of perceived subjectiveness on the decent jobs, which were interests-seeking, balance-seeking, toward organization, power-seeking, and career development. These results confirm the diversity of perceptions of decent jobs. Then, we suggested policy implications to help the labor market entry based on the results.

The purpose of this study was to estimate satisfaction and evaluation degree of students' spot-practice in department of food and nutrition and to investigate relating factors to them for development of spot-practice Programme. The survey for analysis was conducted through the questionnaires to 229 students finished internship. Proportions of the students were 93.9% for senior, 93.9% for female. Proportions of spot-practice facilities were 38.9%, 46.7%, and 14.4% for school, business & industry, and hospital respectively. The major part of subjects (83.8%) took part in spot-practice during 2 weeks. The satisfaction scores to spot-practice were the lowest for pay, and the highest for a kind of spot-practice facilities. The evaluation scores were the lowest for 'I made a plan and prepared my work in advanced', and the highest for 'I did my best for doing my work'. The satisfaction score in hospital was significantly lower than those in school or business & industry. The satisfaction score in self-operated foodservice was significantly higher than that in contract managed one. However, there no significant differences in evaluation scores by foodsevice employment type. In the case of coincidence of area in spot-practice and residence, or facilities of spot-practice and job desired, the satisfaction and evaluation scores were significantly higher than those of others. The period of spot-practice was significantly positively correlated with satisfaction scores for atmosphere of spot-practice facilities, service and treatment for spot-practice student, while negatively correlated with evaluation score for 'I did my best for doing my work'. The spot-practice pay was significantly positively correlated with satisfaction and evaluation scores for various items. In conclusion, various factors are related to satisfaction and evaluation degree of spot-practice students, and consist concern and support from college St university, foodservice institution, and government for systematic spot-Practice are required.

This study analyzed the characteristics of each type of subjective perception of cabin crew by applying Q-methodology to understand the competencies required of airline cabin crew. As a result of analyzing 33 Q-samples and 33 P-samples using the Ken-Q Analysis program, four types were identified: "Physical strength and appearance quality-oriented", "job performance-oriented", "communication ability-oriented", and "job consciousness-oriented". Most types showed high agreement on physical factors, ability to cope with emergency situations and work responsibility. The results can be used as basic data to develop effective curriculum for airline training course and airline service majors, and it can be a reference material to help job seekers understand the job and cultivate necessary competencies.
Recently increasing young adults have experienced serious economic difficulties in their transition to adulthood and so a great deal of parents have to help their children financially even well after children finish their schools. Utilizing the 2008 Social Survey, a nationwide representative survey collected by the Statistics Korea, this paper examines how children, mothers, and fathers think about parental support to adult children. Respondents of the 2008 Social Survey answer how much parents support economically to their children about the following four items: college education, graduation school education, spending money while searching for jobs, and marital preparation. Analyzing a sample of 1,727 high school students and their parents, I find that the three family members generally accept economic support to the above items as part of parental duties. Also comparisons of the three family members' attitudes indicate that they usually reach the consensus about the dutiful scope of parental support to adult children. Logistic regressions reveal that male teens and children with conservatism are more likely to believe in wider scope of parental economic duties. And parents who are on good terms with children and are high in educational and occupational levels are more willing to support adult children. I conclude with implications of the findings for intergenerational relationships.

The purpose of this study was to provide effective career coaching method to help university students to choose suitable career in transition to society. The subjects were 250 students enrolled in G University and questionnaire survey was administerd. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS v. 21.0 statistics package program and the results are as follows: For the general characteristics of subjects, female students were more compared to male ones, mos of them were in 4th grade and specialized in public health and had no religion. For the relationship between self-management / self-resiliency and career maturity of university students, the self-management had significant positive effects on determination, confidence, and preparedness, which are sub-factors of career maturity (p<.001). In addition, it was shown that the controllability, positiveness, and sociability, which are sub-factors of self-resiliency had significant positive effects on determination, confidence, and preparedness, which are sub-factors of career maturity (p<.05, p<.01, p<.001). Considering that the self-management and self-resiliency are important factors in career maturity of university students, it is demanded for the university teachers to examine the measures to increase self-management and self-resiliency of students.
Purpose: To investigate optical shop startup awareness of ophthalmic optics students as a basic source for startup education. Methods: Total of 287 students from three ophthalmic optics college in kyung-gi region was surveyed and analyzed using SPSS analysis. Results: Optical shop startup business plan of ophthalmic optics students was very high (80.1%). For startup timing, over 6yrs of employe (37.0%) was most and there was significant difference according to age (p<.001) and optician family present (p<.05). For startup type, single startup type (37%) was most and there was significant difference according to grade (p<.01). For startup unit of space, 30 pyong (43.5%) was most, Seoul metropolitan area and kyung-gi region (54.4%) was most for startup region, and station area (40.8%) was most for startup location. The reason of non-startup was eye hospital and glass related company employe (35.7%) was most and optical shop employe (35.7%) was most for non-startup planner's way. Conclusions: Startup business plan was very high and need to have startup education for there startup provision.

This study aims to figure out the status of university start-up education and support scheme, which are becoming more important as a major project of recent university policy, and to present policy tasks for promoting university start-ups by analyzing problems. A survey on education and support scheme about start-up was carried out from 800 students including those on leave of absence at D university located in metropolitan area and the analysis results are as follows. First, perception about start-up was highly positive due to various start-up education and support scheme from universities, but it was surveyed that university students have still low willingness to challenge start-up. Second, the biggest reason why university students avoid the start-up is 'the risk of start-up failure' at 40.8%, followed by 'Prioritizing getting a job' at 24.9% and 'lack of knowledge on start-up' at 13.4%. Also, difficulty from those who have already started business was mainly financing at 26.9%. The second was 14.0% for securing manpower, and the third was 11.8% for technology development. Third, the necessity of start-up education was in the order of 'starting-up' > 'preparing to start-up' > 'no intention to start-up'. The reason for the necessity of start-up education was 'motivation for various career choices' with 24.8%, followed by 'acquisition of various knowledge and skills for start-up' with 23.9%. Finally, efforts are needed to understand the importance of public relations for start-up policies in universities and figure out the problems of the start-up support scheme. The start-up education and support scheme should reflect the needs of university students, who are actual policy consumers, by shifting away from the method provided by existing suppliers.
