  • This research investigated the effects of university library users' use patterns and their recognition of service benefits on the magnitude of service value assessments derived from users' statements using contingent valuation method (CVM). Library users' use patterns were operationalized by the number of library visits, library website visit counts and the degree of dependence on their own libraries. User benefits variables were measured by the level of satisfaction on the benefits of library use for teaching & instruction, research & writings, and employment & external activities. University library services were divided into circulation, journal articles (domestic & foreign), reference service, user education, reading room service and WTPs for each service were measured. The results from hypotheses testing show that the number of library visits affect WTP amounts for circulation, foreign article use, reference service and user education. The degree of library dependence seems to affect WTP amounts for circulation and user education. With regards to the hypotheses related to the recognition of library service benefits, the degree of satisfaction for teaching & instruction benefits seems to affect WTP amounts for reading room use.

To that end, elderly with disabilities and 50 years or older were extracted from the raw data (2nd Wave, 1st Survey) of 2016 Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled (or PSED), conducted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled. And they were classified into those aging with disabilities (onset of a disability before 50 years) and those having disabilities with aging (onset of a disability after 50 years). The results of the analysis show factors affecting satisfaction with life were different in the two groups. Although awareness about employment, awareness about disability, levels of happiness, subjective socioeconomic standing, and financial problems were the common factors, health conditions and ability to function in daily life affected more those aging with disability, and employment status was more relevant to those having disability with aging. Based on these results, this study points out the need to take into account awareness about employment and disability when developing services for elderly with disabilities, to solve their financial problems, and to provide a collective approach to employment and health issues in order to improve the quality of their lives.

Our latent profile analysis suggested a three-profile model that comprised enriched (11.91%), moderate (47.85%), and mixed (40.24%) profiles. The significant antecedents of profile membership were subjective health status, the child's adjustment to school, working hours, the community's suitability for childrearing, and satisfaction with community service facilities. Regarding psychological outcomes, the levels of life satisfaction, marital satisfaction, and job satisfaction were higher in the following order: enriched, moderate, and mixed profiles. The levels of depressive symptoms were in the reverse order: mixed, moderate, and enriched profiles. This study contributes to a comprehensive understanding of the literature on work-family interactions by considering various predictors and outcomes at multiple levels.

  • In recent times, increasing is the number of civic participation government policy decision models through the application of the service design process. It's because the effect of a policy is cut in half due to the low acceptance will for police execution, which could occur in the supplier-oriented policy-decision process in the past. For solving out such a problem, civic participation policy service design has been under way in the name of 'National Design Group' led by the Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs starting 2014. A sharing village is a village community in a broad sense for the purpose of giving effect to sharing economy, aiming to maintain sustainability through sharing consciousness raising between village members, coexistence and cooperation. This study presented a solution to the 3 sorts of city problems, i.e. sharing village, urban generation and youth employment settlement in combination by grasping the problems of the existing sharing village, and using service design method Toolkit However, there needs to be a follow-up research through continuous verification, and improvement of problems for the time to come because the casual relationship between research subjects is extensive, and this study has limitations in the satisfaction survey for verifying the result satisfaction, which individual subjects have, consequent on the suggestion of the way of solution, and the research period as well.
