Implementation of smart chungbuk tourism based on SNS data analysis (SNS 데이터 분석을 통한 스마트 충북관광 구축)

  • With the development of mobile devices and Internet, information exchange has actively been made through SNS and Blogs. Blogs are widely used as a space where people share their experience after their visit to tourist attractions. We propose a method of recommending associated tourist attractions based on tourists' opinions using issue analysis, association analysis, and sentimental analysis for various online reviews including news in order to help to develop tour products and policies. The result shows that north area of Chungbuk province has been selected as issue attractions, and associated attractions/keywards have been identified for given well-known attraction. Positive/negative opinion for review texts has been analyzed and user can grasp the reason for the sentiments. Multidimensional analysis technique has been integrated to derive additional sophisticated insights and various policy proposal for smart tourism.

An Analysis of Relationship between Motivation and Satisfaction of Visitors at Cheongnamdae (청남대 방문객 집단별 동기와 만족도 간 관계 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference between local residents and tourist groups in the relationship between the motivation for visiting and the satisfaction of Chung Nam Dae which is the leading tourist attraction in the Chungbuk region. We obtained 200 validated samples each of the local residents in Chungcheongbuk-do Province and the tourists from outside of Chungcheongbuk-do Province with experience of visiting Cheongnamdae through the survey using the questionnaire organized through literature research. The analysis result showed that the relationship between motivation and satisfaction varied depending on the overall sample, local residents, and tourist and that the natural relaxation and convenience had a positive impact on satisfaction in all groups. There was a difference in the influence between motivation and satisfaction between the two groups. Four motivational factors, including natural relaxation, convenience, historicity, and relationship had the significant influence on satisfaction for the local residents while two motivational factors, including natural relaxation and convenience, had the significant influence on satisfaction for the tourists. Based on the results of the study, we presented the theoretical and practical implications and suggested follow-up studies.

  • Although crafts industry in Chungcheongbuk-do where Cheongju International Craft Biennale is held has an excellent infrastructure, it is backward comparing with other regions. So we face up to the reality and desire to contribute to the creation of added value and the development of local crafts culture through study on the here and the hereafter of Chungbuk crafts industry. We figure out the customer satisfaction and the potential customer preference for cultural products on sale currently. Then, we establish a detailed marketing strategy and study the way how we can solve the current difficulties including design, technique and marketing.

  • This research the impacts of the tourism service quailty to the beahvioral intentions and loyalty to the results are as follow. Study results showed that the quality and behavior of tourist loyalty significantly affecting. Through these results, first, we could suggest one for the tourist to improve the quality of future loyalty to the new material could present on the tourist destination of Cheongbuk. Second, applied quality is important to know was intangible goods such as tourism and tourism quality as new research on the tourist destination of Cheongbuk. These results can be presented to expand the coverage associated with the quality of the tourist academically based. Tourist destination of industrial brand strategy was able to give many implications.

Development of a Tourist Satisfaction Quantitative Index for Building a Rating Prediction Model: Focusing on Jeju Island Tourist Spot Reviews (평점 예측 모델 개발을 위한 관광지 만족도 정량 지수 구축: 제주도 관광지 리뷰를 중심으로)

  • As the tourism industry recovers post the COVID-19 pandemic, an increasing number of tourists are utilizing various platforms to leave reviews. However, amidst the vast amount of data, finding useful information remains challenging, often leading to time and cost inefficiencies in selecting travel destinations. Despite ongoing research, there are limitations due to the absence of ratings or the presence of different rating formats across platforms. Moreover, inconsistencies between ratings and the content of reviews pose challenges in developing recommendation models. To address these issues, this study utilized 7,104 reviews of tourist spots in Jeju Island to develop a specialized satisfaction index for Jeju tourist attractions and employed this index to construct a 'Rating Prediction Model.' To validate the model's performance, we predicted the ratings of 700 experimental data points using both the developed model and an LSTM approach. The proposed model demonstrated superior performance with a weighted accuracy of 73.87%, which is approximately 4.67% higher than that of the LSTM. The results of this study are expected to resolve the discrepancies between ratings and review contents, standardize ratings in reviews without ratings or in various formats, and provide reliable rating indicators applicable across all areas of travel in different domains.

  • The purpose of this paper is to derive an optimal route for foreign tourists in Korea. To that end, the data gained from domestic tourist portal sites was analyzed with a big data analytics tool R. The destinations most visited by inbound foreign tourists, the shortest route and the most economical route were derived from the analysis results. The findings suggest original Korean culture is the factor for successful tourist destinations and relevant products, and will serve as some reference data conducive to planning the tourist products in practice.

  • 노동굴은 1979년 6월 18일에 우리나라 천연기념물 제262호로 지정된 석회동굴이다. 노동(제일)동굴로 불리우는 이 동굴은 석회동굴의 보고지대인 충북단양에서 우리나라에서는 손꼽는 자연경관을 자랑하는 관광동굴로 공개되고 있다. 이제 이와같이 소중한 자연자원의 보고인 이 노동굴의 환경을 조사하고 이 동굴이 지니고 있는 동굴환경실태에 따른 적절한 환경보전 대책의 방안을 제시하여 앞으로의 노동굴의 영원한 관리유지를 위한 자료로 제공하고자 하는 바이다.(중략)

  • 최근에 와서 석회암 지형에 대한 조사연구는 활발히 진행되고 있다. 특히 석회동굴을 중심으로 하여 관광 학술면에서 그 활동 방향이 진행되고 있으나 이와같은 동굴의 형성도 석회암지형의 발달과 관련하여 그 형성이 규명되어야 하고 동굴의 형성과 지하수면과의 관계 종유동 형성의 시간적 길이, 절리, 단층 등이 동굴형태와의 관계도 종합적인 석회암지형을 연구함으로써 지형학적, 지질학적 제문제가 해결되리라 생각된다.(중략)

The Analysis on the Contents of High School Geography Textbook with Cave (고등학교 한국지리 교과서에 나타난 '동굴' 컨텐츠 내용 분석)

  • 고등학교 한국지리 8종 교과서에 수록된 동굴명과 학습 컨텐츠 유형별로 동굴의 특성을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 8종 교과서에 수록된 자연동굴의 경우 석회동굴에 대한 사례가 많으며 용암동굴과 해식동굴에 대한 소개는 상대적으로 미약하다. 둘째, 동굴에 대한 학습 컨텐츠의 경우 사진자료의 이용빈도가 매우 높은 편이며 그 외 모식도와 지형도를 이용하여 설명하고 있다. 셋째, 교과서 본문에 수록된 동굴명과 학습컨텐츠에 제시된 동굴의 경우 고수동굴에 대한 내용이 매우 높은 편이며 지역적으로도 충북 단양군을 사례로 한 경우가 많다. 특히, 북한에 분포하고 있는 동룡굴에 대한 소개가 특이할 만하다. 향후 천연자원으로서 자연동굴에 대한 주요 관광수요층인 고등학생들의 자연동굴에 대한 올바른 인식과 간접체험을 위한 학습컨텐츠의 개발이 기대된다. 이러한 학습컨텐츠의 개발과 교육현장에서 적용은 학생들로 하여금 지속 가능한 자연동굴의 보존관리와 환경 친화적인 관광개발 및 관광객의 관람태도가 왜 필요한가에 대한 당위성을 충분히 이해시킬 수 있을 것으로 보여진다.
