A Study on Transcranial Magnetic Electrode Simulation Using Maxwell 3D (Maxwell 3D를 이용한 경두개 자기 전극 시뮬레이션에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, we conducted a study on the transcranial magnetic electrode, a method for the study of dementia and muscle pain, a neurodegenerative disease caused by an aging society, which is becoming a problem worldwide. In particular, transcranial magnetic electrodes have been studied to improve their ability to be deteriorated by dementia symptoms such as speech, cognitive ability, and memory by outputting magnetism deep into the brain using coils on the head epidermis. In this study, simulation was performed using Maxwell 3D program for the design of coil, the core of transcranial magnetic electrode. As a result of the simulation comparison between the coil designed by the previous research and the coil through the research and development, the output was found to be superior to the conventional designed coil. The graphs of the coil outputs of B-Field and H-Field are found to be symmetrical, but the symmetry between each coil is pseudo-symmetrical and not accurate. Based on these results, an experiment was conducted to confirm whether the output of the head epidermis through both coils is possible. In the magnitude field of the reverse-coil 2-coil analysis, the maximum output was 3.3920e + 004 H [A_per_meter], and the vector field showed the strongest magnetic field around 35 to 165 degrees. It was confirmed that the magnetic output canceled due to the magnetic output. In the case of the forward 2-coil, a maximum of 3.2348e + 004H [A_per_meter] similar to the reverse coil was observed, but in the case of the vector field, the magnetic output regarding the forward output and the head skin output was confirmed. However, when the height change in the output coil, the magnetic output was reduced.

  • An efficient logic circuit for realizing the function which has output of 1 diagonaly and design for multivalued logic circuit using with ROM structure which has two output at once are presented. The circuits presented are suited for the circuit design of a symmetric multivalued truth tables and the circuit design of multivalued truth tables with many independent variables. Also, they are applied to the multivalued truth tables of Galois field(GF).

  • The 3D-printing technique is used for manufacturing objects by adding multiple layers, and it is relatively easy to manufacture objects with complex shapes. The 3D concrete printing technique, which incorporates 3D printing into the construction industry, does not use a formwork when placing concrete, and it requires less workload and labor, so economical construction is possible. However, 3D-printed concrete is expected to have a lower strength than that of molded concrete. In this study, the properties of 3D-printed concrete were analyzed. To fabricate the 3D-printed concrete samples, the extrusion path and shape of the samples were designed with Ultimaker Cura. Based on this, G-codes were generated to control the 3D printer. The optimal concrete mixing proportion was selected considering such factors as extrudability and buildability. Molded samples with the same dimensions were also fabricated for comparative analysis. The properties of each sample were measured through a three-point bending test and uniaxial compression test, and a comparative analysis was performed.

  • 전자산업 부문의 친환경 대응이 이슈화 되면서 전자기기의 대기전력 소비감소를 위한 연구가 지속적으로 수행되고 있다. 전자기기의 대표적인 전원공급장치인 Switched Mode Power Supply(SMPS)의 경우 부하기기의 대기모드 시 극도로 낮은 출력전력에서 고효율을 달성해야 하는 요구가 높다. 특히 많은 SMPS들이 부하기기의 요구에 의하여 다출력 컨버터로 설계되어 있는데, 이러한 다출력 구조에서 대기모드 시 불필요한 출력을 절체함과 동시에 저전력에서 고효율을 내기가 쉽지 않다. 또한 다출력 구조로 인한 Cross Regulation 문제를 극복해야 하는 과제가 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 단일 컨버터 혹은 복수의 컨버터로 구성되어 있는 다출력 컨버터에서 대기전력 개선을 위한 Secondary Side Post Regulator(SSPR), 전류모드, Power Sequence 제어기술을 제안하고, 대기전력과 더불어 SSPR의 Cross Regulation 특성 개선을 검토하였다. 그리고 제안한 기술이 구현된 다출력 구조의 110W와 270W급 SMPS를 제작하여 회로의 타당성 및 우수성을 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문은 중 전력, 고 입력 전압응용에서 많이 이용되는 비대칭 하프브릿지 PWM DC-DC 컨버터의 다중 출력 구성을 위한 최적의 설계 방식을 제안한다. 제안된 방식은 기본 PWM에서 부하에 따른 연속전류동작모드(CCM)의 구간을 늘여, 제어되는 전원의 부하 변동이 크더라도, 다중출력 되어지는 전원의 정상상태 동작점의 변동이 크게 발생하지 않도록 한다. 제어되는 비대칭 하프브릿지(ASHB)의 부하에 따른 시비율 변화가 작아지면 경 부하에서 변압기에 인가되는 전압의 크기가 줄어들어 다중 출력 되어지는 단의 전체적인 전압 스트레스가 감소한다. 또한 제안된 방식의 비대칭 하프브릿지 회로는 기존의 1차 측 전류 비대칭성을 보상하여 보다 넓은 부하 영역에서 영전압 스위칭이 가능하며 스위칭 손실과 이에 의한 EMI가 감소하게 된다. 제안된 방식은 기존 하드웨어와 비교하여 그 성능을 검증하였다.

  • We have investigated the output characteristics and optimal conditions of a multi-stage amplifier system of Rhodamine 6G dye laser. The parameters in this simulation work were the beam diameter of the dye laser oscillator, the size of dye cell, the dye concentration, the number of stages in the amplifier system, and the pumping energy ratio of each amplifier at given pump energy. As a result, the output energy 10 mJ and the conversion efficiency of 40% in the two stage amplifier system were obtained with the pumping energy of 25mJ and the oscillator energy of 0.01 mJ.

  • In this paper, is is presented the result of design and fabrication for X band T/R module using in active array radar. The high power RF circuit was fabricated using GaN element, so that high power and high efficiency was fulfilled comparing with the previous T/R module that have under 50 W output power for X band. Designed X band T/R module demonstrated 200 W(53 dBm) peak power, 20 us pulse width with 0.4 dB pulse droop and 20 % duty cycle. And it has characteristics of 26 dB receive gain and 4.5 dB noise figure. The structure was applied to prevent serious damage of receive path and GaN HPA by transmitting power during trasmit time of a pulse radar.

  • This paper was proposed a wave path loss prediction algorithm using multilayer perceptron (MLP) model and wave propagation characteristic parameters for Wireless LAN in indoor radio environments. Receiving power was predicted by calculating indoor path loss in a Wireless LAN that has transmission power of 100mW and frequency of 2.4GHz, and was compared with measured. In the result of measurement shows that there is a difference between predicted and measured receiving power which can be reduced by an accurate analysis of the various path loss factors. In order to fix the access point(AP) positions was used the proposed a wave path loss prediction algorithm, and designed the optimum cell for Wireless LAN.

A Study on the Construction and the Output Characteristics of Nd:YAG Laser Using Unstable Ring Resonator (불안정 고리형 공진기를 이용한 Nd:YAG 레이저의 제작 및 발진 특성에 관한 연구)

  • We constructed travelling type Nd:YAG laser with a negative branch confocal unstable ring (NBCUR) resonator like a Newtonian telescope type using four flat mirror and two positive lenses. Annular output beam was obtained by using scraper mirror. This laser oscillator has 22 optical faces and optical alignment was done by equal inclination interferance method. We inserted a Faraday rotator of permanent magnet type designed in the laboratory for unidirectional operation. We obtained laser output energy of 80m.I with electrical input energy of 70 J. and we obtained that peak power of 0.5MW through Q-switching with BDN dye.

Design of a S-Band Transfer-Type SP4T Using PIN Diode (PIN 다이오드를 이용한 S-대역 고출력 경로선택형 SP4T 설계)

  • In this paper, the design of a PIN diode S-band transfer-type SP4T including its driver circuit is presented. Each path of the SP4T is composed of the cascade connection of series-shunt PIN diodes to improve the isolation performance. The SP4T is implemented using chip type PIN diodes and a 20 mil AIN substrate fabricated using thin film technology. The driver circuit for the SP4T is designed using a multiplexer and four NMOS-PMOS push-pull pair. From on-wafer measurement, the fabriacted SP4T shows a maximum insertion loss of 1.1 dB and a minimum isolation of 41 dB. The time performance of the driver circuit is evaluated using the packaged PIN diodes with the identical PIN diode chip, and the transition time for on-off and off-on are below 100 nsec. For an input power level of 150 W, the measured insertion loss and isolation are close to those of the on-wafer measurement taking into consideration of the coaxial package mismatch and insertion loss.
