A Basic Study on the Tunnel Collapse Analysis and the Reasonable Inforence of Tunnel Collapse Considering a Characteristic of Engineering Geology (지질공학적 특성을 고려한 터널 붕락 분석과 합리적인 터널 붕락 추론에 관한 기본 연구)

  • 터널 시공과 굴착과정에서 파쇄대, 절리, 연약대, 균열 등 암반에서의 불연속면은 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 연구에서는 지반 고유의 특징인 불확실성에 의한 터널 설계와 시공 과정에서 겪는 많은 시행오차를 최소화하기 위해서 국내의 터널 붕락 현장의 지반조사 자료를 분석하여 터널 붕락 유형 및 규모를 제시할수 있는 Geo-predict 시스템을 개발하였다. Geo-predict 시스템은 총 104개 터널 붕괴/붕락자료(국외84개, 국내20개)를 분석한 자료를 테이터베이스로 인공신경망 학습을 토해서 터널 붕괴 형태와 규모를 추론하는 시스템이다. 본 논문에서는 Geo-predict의 개발과정 및 구성.기능을 소개하였으며 104개 터널 현장 자료를 지반조건별로 분석하고 이를 데이터베이스화하여 인공신경함을 이용한 추론 시스탬을 구축하고, 2개 고속전철 터널현장과 1개 지하철 시공현장에 적용성 평가를 실시하여, 터널의 붕락 가능 및 붕락 규모를 추론하였다.

  • 전문가의 지식을 지식베이스화하여 의사결정지원시스템으로 사용하려는 노력이 증대하고 있다. 특히 투자의사결정과 같은 원인결과의 관계를 명확히 규정할 수 없는 복작한 영역에서 전문가의 지식베이스는 비전문가의 의사결정에 중요한 조언을 제공할 수 있다. 불확실한 지식을 지식베이스화하는 한 방법으로 퍼지프러덕션시스템이 널리 사용되고 있다. 주식시장과 같은 동태적인 시스템에서 어떤 정보의 중요성은 상황에 따라 변화하는데 이를 정태적인 프로덕션시스템의 규칙으로 지식베이스화하는 것은 불가능하다. 그러나 추론을 수행하는 과정에서 수행당시 각 정보의 중요도에 부응하는 가중치를 부여하여 평가함으로써 정태적인 지식베이스에 동태적인 실제시스템의 특성을 반영할 수 있다. 이는 가중치가 높은 정보에 해당하는 조건명제의 충족정도가 해당규칙의 전체평가결과에 더욱 중요하게 반영되게 하여 좀더 현실성 있는 추론 결과를 얻게 한다. AHP(Analytic Hierachy Process) 방법에 의하여 얻어진 정보의 상대적 중요도에 따른 가중치 (w)를 해당 정보와 조건명제의 합치정도(Degree of Match : DM)에 (DM)w 의 형식으로 적용함으로써 퍼지프러덕션시스템에서 정보의 중요도를 반영하여 프러덕션규칙을 평가하는 방법을 제시한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 이동단말기로부터 수집 가능한 컨텍스트 정보를 기반으로 베이지안 네트워크 추론을 통해 송신자의 정황 정보를 생성하는 시스템을 제안한다. 축적된 데이터로부터 학습되는 베이지안 네트워크의 특성에 따라 설문조사를 통해 사용자의 정황 판단 기호를 수집하고 이를 기반으로 훈련 데이터를 생성하여 베이지안 네트워크를 구성한다. 추론 결과에 대한 사용자 피드백을 주기적인 학습에 사용하고 각 단계에서 정확도를 측정함으로써 개인화된 정황 정보 추론과 사용자의 정황 판단 기호 변화에 신속하게 적응함을 확인한다.

Nonlinear Inference Using Fuzzy Cluster (퍼지 클러스터를 이용한 비선형 추론)

  • In this paper, we introduce a fuzzy inference systems for nonlinear inference using fuzzy cluster. Typically, the generation of fuzzy rules for nonlinear inference causes the problem that the number of fuzzy rules increases exponentially if the input vectors increase. To handle this problem, the fuzzy rules of fuzzy model are designed by dividing the input vector space in the scatter form using fuzzy clustering algorithm which expresses fuzzy cluster. From this method, complex nonlinear process can be modeled. The premise part of the fuzzy rules is determined by means of FCM clustering algorithm with fuzzy clusters. The consequence part of the fuzzy rules have four kinds of polynomial functions and the coefficient parameters of each rule are estimated by using the standard least-squares method. And we use the data widely used in nonlinear process for the performance and the nonlinear characteristics of the nonlinear process. Experimental results show that the non-linear inference is possible.

A Review of Research Trends of Supervison Working Alliance for Counseling in Korea (상담에서 수퍼비전 작업동맹의 국내 연구 동향)

  • The study was conducted to analyze domestic research trend and suggest directions of research with focusing on the importance of working alliance which relation between supervisor and supervisee in counseling supervision. The study analyzed 12 researches by chronologically, research object, counselor's factor, research method. The result is as follows. First, the research data was scant because there was only 12 articles since 2006. Second, the research, which object was supervisor(83.3%) and supervisee(16.7%) and supervisor(0%) was insufficiency with regard to the research of supervisee(83.3%). In addition to, the research about observable state and observable trait was insufficient, while inference state(56.3%) and inference trait(27.1%) was the highest in the research about Counselor's trait which object was supervisor(17.3%). Third, the method of research was quantitate research(100%), there is no qualitative research. At the last, discussion of the result, limitation of the study, follow study were proposed.

Motivated Reasoning as Obstacle of Scientific Thinking: Focus on the Cases of Next-Generation Researchers in the Field of Science and Technology (과학적 사고의 걸림돌 동기기반추론 -과학기술 분야 학문후속세대들의 사례를 중심으로-)

  • Motivated reasoning refers to biased reasoning that is affected by motivation to achieve a particular result or goal. In this study, we attempted a theoretical study on motivated reasoning that hinders the development of scientific thinking and empirical study on actual context of motivated reasoning in the research experiences of next-generation Korean researchers in the field of science and technology. To be specific, literature reviews were conducted to explore the psychological meaning of motivated reasoning and its negative impact on scientific thinking and science research. To understand the substantial meaning and context of motivated reasoning in the field of real science and technology research, we conducted in-depth interviews with eight graduate students and one young science and technology researcher. As a result of the literature reviews, we found out that motivated reasoning can interfere with the proper theory and data coordination, which is the core process of scientific thinking at the individual level. At the socio-cultural level, it can lead to cessation of constructing scientific knowledge and it can act as a mechanism in the process of using science for specific socio-cultural beliefs or purposes, thereby hindering the development of science and technology based on rationale and objective scientific thinking. Quantitative analysis with in-depth interview data showed that graduate students and the young researcher's experienced motivated reasoning results in trying to protect prior beliefs, make hasty conclusions, protecting socio-cultural belief or rationalizing decisions made by their community. Their motivated reasoning could become an obstacle in constructing valid science and technology knowledge through appropriate theory and evidence coordination. Based on these findings we discussed science education for improving scientific thinking.

  • Three studies examined the Keil's(1983)arguments that ontological categories form a hierarchy and they could be strong constraints on induction.In experiment 1,the jungments of sentence acceptability of 5-year-olds and adults showed that they have the hierarchically structured ontological knowledge.In experiment 2,it has been demonstrated that the both age group of subjects use their ontological knowledge to make inferences about the properties of the unknown things described in terms of a predicate.In the last experiment it has been demonstrated that subject can use the ontological knowledge in order to infer what other things could have the unknown organs.

  • Inquiring earth science phenomena is characterized by the followings: a big scale of time and space, inaccessibility, uncontrollability, and complexity. Thus, it is very difficult or, in some cases, impossible to investigate them through the actual manipulation in laboratories. Therefore, it is necessary to provide chance for students to experience scientific inquiry without actual manipulation in earth science classes. This study is to explore the role of reasoning based on a thought experiment as a representative model without actual manipulation, and to investigate features of various inquiry models using reasoning in classes. We can make implications when applying for applying each inquiry model to earth science classes, proposing a reasoning-based inquiry model embedded in earth scientific phenomena.

Modeling and Tuning of 2-DOF PID Controller of Gas turbine Generation Unit by ANFIS (적응형 신경망-퍼지 추론법에 의한 가스터빈 발전 시스템의 모델링 및 2자유도 PID 제어기 튜닝)

  • We studied on acquiring of transfer function and tuning of 2-DOF PID controller using ANFIS for the optimum control to turbine's variables variety. Since the shape of a membership function in the ANFIS based on the characteristics of plant. ANFIS based control method is effective for plant that its variable vary. On the other hand, a start-up time is very short and its variable's value for optimal start-up in gas turbine should be varied, but it is very difficult for such a controller to design. In this paper, we tune 2-DOF PID controller after apply a ANFIS to the operating data of Gun-san gas turbine and verify the characteristics. Its results is compared to the conventional PID controller and discuss. We expect this method will be used for another process because it is studied on the real operating data.

High School Students' Reasoning Characteristics in Problem Solving (문제해결 과정에서 나타난 고등학생들의 수학적 추론 특성)

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate high school students' reasoning characteristics in problem solving. To do this, we selected five high school students as participants and presented them some open problems which allow diverse solving approaches, and recorded their problem solving process. Through analyzing their problem solving process relate to their solution, we found the followings: First, students quickly try to calculate without understanding the given problem. Second, students concern whether their solution is right or not rather than consider mathematical warrants for the results of their strategies. Third, students have difficulties to consider more than two conditions at the same time necessary to solve problem. Forth, students are not familiar to use precedence knowledge relate to given tasks. Fifth, students could have difficulties in problem solving because of easy generalization.
