Parameter Estimation and Validation of a Multinomial Logit Model for the Prediction of Mode Shift as a Result of TDM Schemes in Seoul (교통수요관리정책의 효과분석을 위한 다항로짓모형의 적용 - 서울시 사례 -)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 '96년말 서울시에서 실시한 가구통행조사를 이용하여 서울시 수단선택모형을 구축하고 그 예측결과를 남산 혼잡통행료 전후저사자료와 비교하여 보다 구체적으로 그 정확성을 검증한 뒤 향후 서울시 교통수요관리 방안의 시행에 따른 수단선택변화 예측의 기본 모형으로 활용하는데 있다. 5가지의 대안모형의 분석결과 통행비용변수(승용차의 경유 주차요금포함)와 총통행시간변수(OVTT와 IVTT의 합), 승용차, 지하철, 택시상수로 구성된 모형이 최적모형으로 분석되었다. 이모형에 의한 시간가치는 9,395원, 승용차의 비용탄력성은-0.6767로서 기존 연구결과의 범위 내에 속한 것으로 나타났다. 최적모형을 이용하여 승용차통행비용이 증가한 경우를 모사분석결과 남산1,3호 터널 혼잡통행료 징수효과와 유사하게 승용차 분담율이 13% 가까이 감소한 것으로 나타나서 모형의 현실적합성도 비교적 높은 것으로 판명되었다. 향후 본 연구에서 선정된 최적수단선택모형을 통행배정모형과 결합하여 다양한 교통수요관리 방안에 따른 효과를 예측하는데 활용하면 서울과 같은 대도시의 단기적 교통관리의 수준을 한 단계 높이는데 기여할 것으로 판단된다.

  • Conventional middleware is software providing services between clients and servers efficiently, but it is not applicable to RFID systems because of low consistency due to the absence of context awareness function, and problems in the management of meaning, security system, etc. Accordingly, we need a quality selection process and a quality evaluation method for selecting RFID middleware based on new criteria. This Paper proposed a new selection process based on international standard ISO/IEC 14598, and extracted and selected optimal quality factors through the proposed process. The selected quality factors were mapped to the quality characteristics of standard quality model ISO/IEC 9126, and to quality factors of RFID middleware of SUN, Microsoft, EPCglobal, IBM, etc. The results of these works showed that the quality factors extracted and selected through the proposed process were fair and adequate for evaluating the quality of RFID middleware.

  • According to high-rise, complexation, and enlargement of buildings, various construction methods are being developed, and the significance of construction method selection about main work types has emerged as a major interest. However, it has been pointed out that hand-on workers cannot consider project characteristics carefully, and they lack an objective standard or reference for main construction method selection. Hence, the selection is being made depending on hand-on workers' experience and intuition. To solve this problem, various studies have proceeded for construction method selection of main work types using Artificial Intelligence like Fuzzy, AHP and Case-based reasoning. It is difficult to apply many different kinds of construction method selection to every main work type with consideration for characteristics of work types and condition of a construction site when selecting construction method in the field. Accordingly, this study proposed the decision-making model which can apply to fields easily. Using matrix analysis and liner transformation, this study verified consistency of study models applied in the process of soil retaining selection with a case study.

  • This paper, which consists of two parts, dealt with the parameter tuning of the power system stabilizer for a 612[MVA] thermal power plant in KEPCO system and its validation in field test. In Part 1 of the paper, the selection of parameters such as lead-lag time constants for phase compensation, system gain was optimized by using linear & eigenvalue analyses and they were verified through the time-domain transient stability analysis. In part 2, the performance of PSS was finally verified by the generator's on-line field test. Through the comparisons of simulation results and measured data before and after tuning of the PSS, the models of generator and its controllers including AVR, Governor and PSS used in the simulation are validated and confirmed.

Optimization and Scale-up of Fish Skin Peptide Loaded Liposome Preparation and Its Storage Stability (어피 펩타이드 리포좀 대량생산 최적 조건 및 저장 안정성)

  • Fish skin peptide-loaded liposomes were prepared in 100 mL and 1 L solution as lab scales, and 10 L solution as a prototype scale. The particle size and zeta potential were measured to determine the optimal conditions for the production of fish skin peptide-loaded liposome. The liposome was manufactured by the following conditions: (1) primary homogenization at 4,000 rpm, 8,000 rpm, and 12,000 rpm for 3 minutes; (2) secondary homogenization at 40 watt (W), 60 W, and 80 W for 3 minutes. From this experimental design, the optimal conditions of homogenization were selected as 4,000 rpm and 60 W. For the next step, fish peptides were prepared as the concentrations of 3, 6, and 12% at the optimum manufacturing conditions of liposome and stored at $4^{\circ}C$. Particle size, polydispersion index (pdI), and zeta potential of peptide-loaded liposome were measured for its stability. Particle size increased significantly as manufacture scale and peptide concentration increased, and decreased over storage time. The zeta potential results increased as storage time increased at 10 L scale. In addition, 12% peptide showed the formation of a sediment layer after 3 weeks, and 6% peptide was considered to be the most suitable for industrial application.

  • In this paper, we proposed a digital watermarking method based on the edge-wavelet transform to protect digital contents copyrights. We find out the optimal watermark insertion region and the proper amount of watermark in order to satisfy robustness and imperceptibility against various attacks such as noise, compression, collusion, clipping, scaling. Especially through this experiment, we could find out the adequate location of watermark insertion and proper amount of watermark and it is also viewed to satisfy robustness and imperceptibility in the lower frequency region with small watermark quantity.

  • The facility location problem is one of the traditional optimization problems. In this paper, we deal with the single source capacitated facility location problem (SSCFLP) and it is known as an NP-hard problem. Thus, it seems to be natural to use a heuristic approach such as evolutionary algorithms for solving the SSCFLP. This paper introduces a new efficient evolutionary algorithm for the SSCFLP. The proposed algorithm is devised by incorporating a general adaptive link adjustment evolutionary algorithm and three heuristic local search methods. Finally we compare the proposed algorithm with the previous algorithms and show the proposed algorithm finds optimum solutions at almost all middle size test instances and very stable solutions at larger size test instances.

  • 고분자 가공에서 가장널리 사용되고 있는 사출공정은 비등온의 싸이클 공정이므로 사출조건에 따라 성형품은 다양한 형태의 열이력과 변형이력을 받게 되고 그 결과 최종성형 품의 기계적 물성이 현저히 달라지게 된다. 그러므로 우수한 물성을 갖는 성형품을 얻기위 해서는 열이력과 변형이력에 연관되어 나타나는 미세구조의 변화와 잔류응력을 최소화할수 있는 최적 성형조건의 선정이 대단히 중요하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 수치모사실험을 기초로 설정한 성형조건의 범위에서 다양한 사출성형실험을 수행하여 얻은 시편을 대상으로 미세구 조의 변화와 잔류응력에 미치는 성형조건의 영향을 조사함으로써 최적성형조건을 선정하기 위한 방안을 찾고자 하였다. 편광현미경을 사용하여 관찰한 결정성 고분자수지 시편의 내부 구조는 전형적인 skin-core 구조를 보일뿐만아니라 충전속도, 사출온도, 금형온도, 및 gate로 부터의 위치 변화에 따라 미세구조가 현저히 변함을 알수 있었으며 광탄성법과 layer removal method를 이용하여 조사한 무정형 고분지수 시편의 잔류응력은 금형온도와 사출압 에 가장 영향을 많이 받으며 두께 방향으로 parabola한 분포를 가짐을 알수 있었다. 이상의 결과로부터 사출조건의 변화에 따라 잔류응력과 내부구조가 현저히 변하게 되며 이는 성형 품의 물성에 직접적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 알수 있었다.

  • Faster, safer and cheaper mailing of the postal matter is essential for surviving in the competitive market of home-delivery service. The Steiner tree connects points minimally in geometrical way and has been used in the distribution system optimization and optimal routing of the transmission lines of the electric power system. This paper proposes a method to select the optimal location of mail distribution center that minimally connect the local mail center of some major cities using the Steiner tree theorem.

  • In this paper, we propose new gain optimization method for Sigma-Delta A/D converters. First, in proposed method, the 10 candidates are selected through SNR maximization for Sigma-Delta modulator. After then, it is shown that optimum gains can be obtained through MSE calculation for CIC decimation filter. In the simulation, The proposed method has advantages which utilize SNR maximization for modulator and MSE minimization for CIC decimation later. The more candidates are chosen in SNR maximization for modulator, the better gains can be obtained in MSE minimization for CIC decimation filter.
