Impact of Types of Food Tourism Experience on Purchase Intention and Visitor's Satisfaction: Focused on Participants at Dae-gu Food Tour Expo (음식관광 체험유형이 상품구매의도와 방문만족에 미치는 영향: 대구음식문화박람회 방문고객을 대상으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyse the impact of food tourism experience types on purchase intention and further to verify the influence of purchase intention on visitor satisfaction. For these purposes, a survey was given to 233 participants at the $15^{th}$ Daegu Food Tour Expo held from $9{\sim}12^{th}$ June 2016. The studay also carried out analysis of frequency, reliability, and correlation employing SPSS V. 20.0. The findings of the study are as follows. 1) Among 4 factors of food tourism experience types, gourmet, knowledge and healing pursuit groups havd a positive influence on purchase intention, although relation pursuit group had no significant influence on purchase intention. 2) It was discovered that purchase intention had a positive influence on visitor satisfaction. The results shown that food tourists have basic experience of gourmet with paying attention on knowledge and healing, as well. But food tourist has no significant influence on the group of relation pursuit. Accordingly, in order to encourage food tourists to re-visit, it is necessary to continuously develop and improve tour programs with well organized tour destinations and social system.

Study on Selection Attributes of Fishing Experience Villages for the Revitalization of Eco Experience Tourism (생태체험관광 활성화를 위한 어촌체험마을의 선택속성 연구 - 전문가 및 선감어촌체험마을 체험객을 대상으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study was to derive selection attribute of fishing experience villages, and to analyze the importance and performance on targeting experts and experienced tourists. Consequently, it could suggest implications for the guideline and the evaluation criteria of making fishing experience villages for the revitalization of eco experience tourism. Therefore, in this study, literature investigation and IPA analysis were used by Microsoft Office Excel 2010, SPSS 20.0. As a result, the 'variety of local foods and specialties' was the most urgent attribute to require intensive management strategy. And it is recommended to improvement about 'attributes related residents' because it were insensitived on the recognition by users. Satisfaction of 'appropriateness of coast' was the lowest, but the efficiency was quite high. Finally, not only 'the area of control' but also 'the area of influence' should be reviewed as an important aspects on developing the fishing experience village. The significance of this study is to derive selection attributes of making fishing experience villages for revitalization of eco experience tourism, and to suggest strategy directions based on IPA analysis result by experts and experienced tourists. But in this study, the site was limited to Gyeonggi-do, so it is recommended to expand further.

  • With the development of tourism the desire for a variety of tours for visitors was occurred. Accordingly, to meet the needs of tourists for the development of various tourism products is necessary. In addition to the occurrence of environmental problems needs to develop enviromental tourism products. In this study refocus on rapidly developed templestay and difference of life quality between before experienced templestay and after experienced templestay as product development of low-carbon green was to explore the possibilities. The findings were as follows. First, the increase of age, they satisfacted temples experience like meditation, tea ceremony and Buddhist cultural experience. 11 questions of life quality, 9 items showing significant differences in the quality of life in it will be useful temple stay was used.

  • This study is to investigate the effect of the motivation of choosing the tourist spots on the image of the tourist spots and the intention of revisiting targeting the tourists visiting Gamcheon Culture Village. The motivations of choosing the tourist spots, such as experiences, sightseeing, viewing of the cultural events, have a positive (+) effect on the affective image of the tourists. Only sightseeing in the motivations of choosing the tourist spots has a positive (+) effect on the epistemic image of the tourists. With the results of the analyzed effect of the affective image of the tourist spots on the intention of revisiting, it is revealed that the affective image has a significant effect on the intention of revisiting, not the epistemic image. It is suggested that the tourists have a good impression of Gamcheon Culture Village through experiences, sightseeing, viewing of the cultural events. In order for Gamcheon Culture Village to be one of the world-famous tourist spots, many attractions should be provided along with more different experience programs than now, various attractions, alley festivals held throughout the year. With the village developed with the greatest care, the tourists should have the intention of revisiting the village through experiences, sightseeing, viewing of the cultural events with their precious memories, since positive images tourists have tend to be anchored in the affective area rather than in the epistemic one.

  • Building of exhibit halls in rural area has been a new trend with increasing investments in rural development. Exhibit hall can be an effective way to specialize rural village with amenity resources which is now in a flood of agritourism. However, most of exhibit halls being operated by rural villages have similar display on similar themes and are poorly managed. To aggressively promote rural amenity resources in villages and make visitors satisfy through their experiences, this research reviewed experience economy theory of Pine and Gilmore(1998) and derived planning guidelines of rural theme exhibit hall applying experiential factors(Educational, Esthetic, Escapist, and Entertainment experiences). Finally, we applied these planning guidelines to a site, Igil village which is located in Cheorwon County, Gangwon-do, with a theme of a red-crowned crane for verification.

A Study on Determinants of the Ecotourist's Satisfaction with Geumgang Birdwatching Destination (금강 철새도래지 생태관광객의 만족에 영향을 미치는 결정요인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this research is to suggest appropriate directions for the desirable ecotourist attraction management through the investigation of the tourist's satisfaction with ecotourism in case of Geumgang birdwatching destination. This research focus on the identification of the determinants of the ecotourist's satisfaction and the estimated regression model. The results of this study for the tourist's satisfaction with the ecotourism are summarized as follows. First, as a result of the factor analysis of the tourist's satisfaction variables, five factors like 'knowledge information', 'experience', 'ecological value', 'guide service', 'facilities environment' are deduced. Second, as a result of the test of significance, the difference of the satisfaction with ecotourism in aspect of the tourist's demographic characteristics like age and academic background is confirmed to be statistically significant except sex. Third, the tourist's satisfaction with ecotourism appears to be positively correlative with the tourist's overall satisfaction.

  • World Heritage is a very important heritage that is worth protecting and handing down to future generations. In Korea, which has a long history and culture of 5,000 years, Seowon is a great advantage in that it can develop tangible and intangible Neo-Confucian ideas shared in China and East Asia, and preserve and experience them as a unique cultural resource of Korea until the present day. In order to encourage the direct experience of this long-standing cultural heritage, the government supports the national treasury and seeks to expand the demand for tourism. Accordingly, in this study, an analysis was conducted on program satisfaction, participation, and activation plans. As a result, it was found that value to see and value to experience must coexist in order for our world heritage, which requires comprehensive and continuous management and operation, and lacks accessibility, to become a tourist attraction. Also, for this purpose, promotion and development of differentiated tourism experience contents should be carried out first.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate and suggesting plans for the Gonggeumji rice paddy wetland ecotourism with ecological, cultural and historical resources. Compare to previous other ecotourism resources including insects, birds and other ecological resources, this study used rice paddy wetland as ecotourism resources. The wetland ecotourism could be more promoted with networking of resources, historical experiences of Goryung Gaya Kingdom, leisure sports tourism with bicycling, the residents'cultural resources including traditional folk song village experiences.

  • The tourism industry and AR act as important factors to diversify the tourism industry by combining them with one another. Currently, the advent of mobile smartphones and AR interactive is expected to play a major role in improving tourists' experiences and promoting tourism. AR's high entertainment characteristics, realism and strong interaction can be actively used as a major advantage in promoting tourism. This paper presents some appropriate examples of how AR interactive design is used in tourism marketing through various use cases where AR interactive design is used in tourism. Furthermore, a detailed analysis of the Magical Gulangyu verifies the descriptions listed in the text and presents the direction of future research.
