여성 청소년의 임신 경험과 자살행동의 관계에 대한 융합연구 (A Convergence study of relationship between pregnancy experience and suicidal behavior in female adolescent)

  • 본 연구에서는 2011년-2013년 청소년건강온라인행태조사에 응한 13세-19세 여학생 중 임신경험자 284명을 대상으로 한국 여성 청소년의 임신경험 위험 요인과 임신 경험과 자살행동과의 관련성을 규명하고자 하였다. 연구 결과 임신경험군의 자살생각은 57.78%, 자살계획 37.7%, 자살시도 37.3%였다. 다변량 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통해, 임신을 경험한 여성 청소년은 자살생각, 계획, 시도가 없는 군에 비해 자살생각 1.44배, 자살계획 2.39배, 자살시도 2.38배 증가된 교차비를 확인할 수 있었다. 이처럼 청소년기의 임신 경험과 자살행동은 높은 관련성을 가지고 있으므로, 추후 청소년기 임신 예방과, 임신경험 이후의 자살 위험 방지를 위해 학교와 교육 당국의 체계적 교육과 대처방안이 필요할 것으로 판단된다. 그리고 무엇보다 가정과 학교 및 지역사회 포괄적 영역에서 융합적 지원과 관심이 뒷받침되어야 할 것이다.

청소년들의 아토피 피부염과 식품섭취빈도에 관한 연구 : 청소년건강행태온라인조사 자료를 중심으로 (Study on Food-Intake and Atopic Dermatitis among Adolescents : Findings from the Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey)

  • The aim of this study was to explore the relationship between demographic characteristics and atopic dermatitis, along with adolescents' body mass index. Also, this study explored the association between dietary intakes (fruits, soda, caffeinated beverages, instant food, cracker, vegetables, and milk) of adolescents and atopic dermatitis. Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey for 2014 was used for data analysis, in which a total of 3,532,149 middle and high school students participated. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis and logistic regression based on the complex sample design using SPSS ver.20.0 statistics. The results showed that males had a higher prevalence rate of atopic dermatitis than females. The significant association between body mass index and atopic dermatitis was found (F=46.625, P<0.001). Students who have higher levels of body mass index showed a higher prevalence rate of atopic dermatitis. Finally, the findings showed that the intake of vegetable and milk had associations with atopic dermatitis (F=6.795, P<0.001). Greater vegetable intake was associated with less atopic dermatitis whereas greater milk intake was associated with more atopic dermatitis prevalence. Based on the above results, we found that demographic characteristics, body mass index, and some dietary food intakes of adolescents had influences on prevalence rate of atopic dermatitis.

  • Purpose: This study was to identify the factors that influence sexually transmitted infections (STIs) among adolescents in Korea. Methods: The data from the 10~12th Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey (2014~2016) were used to assess the effects of individual, family, and school-related factors on sexually transmitted infections. The participants of this study were 9,760 adolescents who had experienced sexual intercourse. The participants consisted of 6,905 boys and 2,855 girls. Results: Out of 9,760 adolescents with sexual intercourse experience, 9.7% (908) had STIs. Grade, substance abuse, age at first sexual intercourse, having sexual intercourse after drinking alcohol, the type of sex partner and family structure were significantly related STIs in both boys and girls. Using condoms was related to STIs only in boys. Drinking alcohol and smoking were related to STIs only in girls. However, sex education at school was not related to STIs in both boys and girls. Conclusion: In this study, Individual and family factors were associated with STIs in male and female adolescents. The results of this study suggest the need for systematic research on the factors influencing STIs and health eduation for STI prevention.

부산지역 청소년 주관적 행복감에 미치는 영향요인에 관한 연구 : 2016년 제12차 청소년 건강행태온라인조사 자료 분석 (Factors Influencing Subjective Happiness among Adolescents in Busan : Analysis of Data from the 2016 Korean Youth Risk Behavior Survey)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to identify factors affecting the subjective happiness of adolescents in Busan using data from the "12th Online Survey on Youth Health Behaviors, 2016." It intended to provide basic information for the development of intervention programs that can improve the subjective happiness of the youth. Methods : Data on 3,979 adolescents residing in Busan were drawn and statistically examined using frequency analysis, a t-test, an ANOVA, and a multiple regression analysis. SPSS 24.0 was used for all analyses. Results : Subjective happiness showed statistically significant differences depending on the factors of health equity like emotional support, gender, school level, financial state, academic performance, type of residence, and parents' educational level, and on the factors of health status, like subjective health state, depression, sleep and stress. Conclusions : The results of this study suggest that a variety of intervention programs on health status factors need to be developed, and implemented to improve the subjective happiness of adolescents in Busan.

  • This study was conducted to explore socio-demographic influences on eating behaviors among adolescents in Korea. Data were obtained from the Eleventh Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey (2015 KYRBS), a nationwide representative sample of 3,532,149 middle and high school students. The data were analyzed by descriptive analysis, t-test, and logistic regression based on complex sample design using SPSS 20.0 statistics. The results showed that intake frequency of soda, fast food, and instant noodles was higher in male than female students (P<0.001). Additionally, the frequency of eating breakfast, fruits, vegetables, and milk was higher among high school students than middle school students (P<0.001). Higher levels of economic status were associated with less skipping breakfast. Adolescents with mothers that had higher levels of education were more likely to be frequent consumers of fruits, vegetables, and milk, and to eat breakfast.

  • This study aims to identify the significance of adolescent suicidal ideation in a multicultural family, propose suicidal prevention strategies, and provide considerable foundations supporting their secured future. The research results are in the follow. For the results of main factors of relative influence on the suicidal ideation, the relative dangerousness levels were 5.5 times more likely to experience with drugs, 4.5 times more likely to have depressive symptoms, 3.2 times more likely to experience violence at school, and 2.8 times more likely to experience drinking alcohol, 1.4 times more likely to feel unhappiness and 1.3 times more likely to be bad off in economic status, all of which contribute to suicidal ideation. All results turned out to be statistically significant. Therefore, the findings and results of this study indicate that appropriate and practical prevention strategies to address the suicidal behavior of adolescents in a multicultural family need to be carefully considered and designed in a most urgent manner.

  • Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the effects of the amount and duration of smoking on gingival symptoms in adolescents. Methods: We used the web-based survey data of youth health behaviors from 2016 conducted by the Korean Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The subjects of the study were 67,983 middle and high school students. Data analysis was performed using the SPSS Ver 20.0 program, and complex sample multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to analyze gingival symptoms according to short- or long-term smoking habits. Results: In subjects with short-term smoking habits, there was no significant difference in gingival symptoms according to the smoking amount. However, after adjusting for socioeconomic characteristics and oral health behaviors in subjects with long-term smoking habits, a heavy smoking amount (${\geq}0.52PY$) had a 1.25 times higher effect than a light smoking amount (<0.52 PY) on gingival symptoms. Long-term heavy smoking (${\geq}0.52PY$) and low daily tooth-brushing frequency in high school students were factors affecting gingival symptoms. Conclusions: When conducting a project on the oral health of adolescents, it is argued that specific investigations and measures should be set up regarding health behavior factors, such as the amount and duration of smoking among adolescents.

  • Objectives: The study recognizes the seriousness of depression in youth with atopic dermatitis, and tries to identify factors that affect depression. Methods: Data were obtained from the 2014 Korean Youth Health Behavior Risk Behavior On-line Survey. In this study, 17,232 people who were Atopic dermatitis without missing variables were included in the final analysis. It conducted frequency, chi-square and logistic regression analysis by SPSS 20.0. Results: An analysis of factors affecting depression showed that subjective health level, subjective happiness satisfaction, subjective sleep satisfaction, subjective stress level, smoking, and drinking had an effect. Conclusions: The factors affecting youth depression with atopic dermatitis revealed health status, life behavior. These results are thought to require attention and research on youth with atopic dermatitis, along with the development of practical treatment programs and systematic management by applying them to teenagers in an appropriate time and method.

청소년 인터넷 사용시간이 청소년 주관적 상태에 미치는 영향에 대한 융합연구 (A Convergence Study on association of Internet Use Time with Perceived Status in Adolescents)

  • 본 연구는 청소년을 대상으로 학습 목적 이외의 인터넷 사용시간을 파악하고, 인터넷 사용시간에 따른 주관적 상태를 파악하여 이들의 상호 관련성을 파악하고자 하였다. 2016년 청소년건강행태온라인조사를 이용하여 인터넷 사용시간에 따른 주관적 상태의 교차비와 95% 신뢰구간을 이분형로지스틱회귀분석을 통해 산출하였다. 주관적 건강인지와 주관적 구강건강인지에서는 학습 목적 이외의 인터넷사용을 하지 않는 경우에 비해 인터넷 사용시간이 길수록 주관적으로 불건강하다고 느끼는 경우에서의 각각의 교차비가 유의하게 증가하였다. 주관적 체형인지에서도 인터넷사용시간이 길수록 살이 찐 편이라고 느낄 교차비가 유의하게 증가하였다. 주관적 행복은 인터넷을 300분 이상 사용하는 경우 주관적으로 불행하다고 생각할 교차비가 1.19배(CI=1.10-1.30) 높게 나타났다. 학습 목적 이외의 장시간의 인터넷 사용이 청소년 건강과 행복에 부정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있으므로 인터넷 사용에 대한 권장시간이 필요할 것으로 생각한다.

청소년들이 학교에서 받는 영양교육과 식생활에 관한 연구 (A Study on Nutrition Education and Dietary Life Received at School in Adolescents)

  • 본 연구는 한국의 청소년들이 학교에서 받는 영양 및 식습관 교육이 실제로 식생활 문화와 어떠한 연관성과 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 한다. 본 연구의 대상과 방법은 2022년도(제18차) 청소년건강행태온라인조사(KYRSB) 자료를 이용한 이차분석연구이다. 아침식사 빈도, 아침식사 결식 이유, 과일, 고카페인 음료, 단맛 나는 음료, 패스트푸드, 채소, 우유, 물, 야식 섭취 빈도를 변수로 SPSS프로그램을 활용하여 통계적 유의성을 확인하였다. 학교에서 영양·식습관 교육을 받은 그룹과 받지 않은 그룹은 아침 식사, 패스트푸드, 야식에 대해 유의한 차이 있었다(p<.001). 아침식사 섭취 빈도를 비교한 결과, 교육을 받은 그룹이 7일 이상 먹는 비율이 높았고, 0일의 경우는 교육을 받지 않는 그룹이 높게 나타났다. 우유 섭취에 대해서는 교육을 받지 않은 그룹이 더 높은 비율로 먹지 않았고, 물 섭취에 대해서도 교육을 받지 않은 그룹이 더 높은 비율로 1컵 미만으로 먹었다. 본 연구는 학교에서의 영양·식습관 교육, 아침 식사 및 음료 섭취에 대한 개선을 위한 연구의 기초자료 및 학교에서의 영양·식습관 교육이 더욱 효과적일 수 있는 방안 연구의 토대로 활용하고자 하였다.
