This study explores the importance of semantic web-based network construction in art data archiving, as well as its meaning and value in the context of arts management along with its potential for future application. The study focuses on oral history obtained from the Arko Arts Archives that contained records of the lives and artistic views of early artists. In this study, the possibility of applying semantic web-based technology to materials concerning culture and the arts was discussed in five aspects based on the results of the case analysis. First, checking the relationship and discovering hidden artists are possible by revealing relationships between characters. Second, understanding and studying society and culture at a given time is possible by interpreting the contextual meaning of information. Third, art exploration can be done broadly and deeply, encompassing various genres from the perspective of the consumer. Fourth, through art construction, history can be reconstructed using a new and rich method. Fifth, expanding the scope beyond the boundaries of art is possible through convergence and collaboration of programs that handle big data. The network data can be used in various methods, such as art history research, art planning, and creation, throughout the art ecosystem. The results of the study suggest that digitizing a large quantity of data concerning culture and the arts is meaningful in arts management as well as identifying and analyzing the relationship network among data clusters using semantic web-based technology.

This study aims to explore the difficulties of Korean dance instructors targeting senior people and extends the difficulties found to developing PBL problems applicable to the instructors' education. To address the goal, this author employed an open-ended questionnaire consisting of four questions and 1:1 interview and collected data. According to the study results, total nine subfactors were drawn from four difficulties associated with student management, the curriculum, performances, and class environment. First, about difficulties related to student management, 'conflicts between students' and 'demand for personalized class' were explored. Second, regarding difficulties about the curriculum, 'refusal against new teaching methods' and 'level difference according to the ability of acquisition' were explored. Third, concerning difficulties related to having performances, 'lack of time for practicing', 'needs to achieve excellent performances', and 'the administration of organizations in charge' were explored. Fourth, about difficulties associated with class environment, 'environment in general' and 'spatial environment' were explored. Also, based on the difficulties explored from dance instructors for senior people, this researcher has developed four PBL problems through community dance for harmony, joint choreography-based creative dance, playful dance allowing role division, and mirroring-based dance.

The purpose of this study is to analyze musical styles emerging in modern musical history from the perspective of integration and deconstruction, and to academically investigate the characteristics contained in each style. The style of musicals can be divided into periods of non-integrity, integration, deconstruction, and convergence. The rise of musical styles and the associated meanings can be studied from the perspective of modernism and postmodernism. In modernism, the energies of 'integration' and 'concentration' form the major trend while in early postmodernism, the powers of 'deconstruction' and 'dispersion' play the main role. Late postmodernism is a dialectic result of both trends in which the philosophy of 'convergence' and 'harmony' operates as the main theme. The principle of integration and deconstruction, which forms the base of musical creation, emerged after the development of the unstable style of non-integrity in the early days of musical. Later, with the advent of Rogers and Hammerstein II, the principle of integration was established for book musicals, emphasizing the linearity of drama, and the principle of deconstruction was born for concept musicals to contain new contents. The 'convergence' found in later musical works turn the theme from non-integrity to integration, and from deconstruction to integration again, which indicates that integration is embracing the concept of deconstruction again in a more advanced sense. Such convergent compromise that constantly influences each other and develops in a better direction can contribute to the development of musical styles.
In this study, as the first attempt to develop an experiential game tourism program using Korean classical literature, the primary research was conducted on Kim Soo-Jang and his anthology "Hae Dong Ga Yo". To this end, a theoretical review of the value of hands-on games and Korean classical literature as tourism content was conducted first. Afterwards, the consumers for the program were set up into three categories: family unit, MZ generation including lovers, and foreigners. A survey was conducted to confirm the program preference of each group. According to the analysis framework, the main value of each historical and cultural resource in "Hae Dong Ga Yo" and seven sijo pieces created by Kim Soo-Jang was discovered and, based on the survey, the preferences of the consumer related to the target were analyzed. Accordingly, the narrative structures were organized differently for each group. An adventure plot was designed for the family unit, a love plot for MZ generation and lovers, and a mixture of adventure and love for foreigners. Utilizing stories from Kim Soo-Jang and his works, which are rarely used despite their value, this study attempted to develop them into hands-on game tourism programs to create new outlets in terms of both Korean classical literature and the tourism area. In the future, if various Joseon literati are discovered and their storytelling is continued, we can expect the vitalization of the travel product line with the concept of classical literature travel.

Ajaeng is the bowed string instrument among zither instruments in East Asia, which has a circular form to date, and it has established itself as an important instrument in today's creative Gugak along with traditional music. Looking at previous prior studies, musical instrument studies have not been actively conducted due to insufficient data from musical history studies, and this study looked at the origin, form of musical instrument, and performance methods of zither bowed string instrument through historical records of Chinese Yazheng and music drawings. The analysis of various documents showed that Ajaeng originated from an ancient Chinese traditional musical instrument called Chuk. In terms of the performance style, the Chinese Yazheng had different musical forms depending on the purpose and location of the performance, and there was a method of standing up and fixing the musical instrument horizontally to the ground. Ajaeng in Korea has been handed down without much change in the form of musical instruments introduced in China during the Goryeo Dynasty and the way they sit on the floor and play on a pedestal. Through this study, we hope that it will help to preserve and develop traditional music and Korean traditional musical instruments by enhancing understanding of musical.

Idol music, which began to gain huge popularity in the domestic music market in the mid-1990s, has become one of the major global contents thanks to the global popularity of K-POP. As a result, the Korean music market continues to grow, forming the world's sixth-largest music market, and domestic music agencies are focusing more on fostering idol groups and producing idol music. The global success of idol music is surprising, but this has resulted in the domestic music market being biased toward idol music. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that there are several problems with the phenomenon of being biased toward similar types of musicians and music content. First, just as trend-oriented cultural contents face the problem of life expectancy all the time, the "Korean Wave" is also forced to think in terms of identity and sustainability. Second, it was observed that only consumers of a certain age may cause cultural alienation of other age groups, and thirdly, various problems such as shrinking creative paths due to the size of the cost required for idol group production and the lifespan of idol musicians' art activities. This paper derives the reality of the domestic idol bias phenomenon through comparative analysis of the English-American music market and the domestic music market, which have had a profound influence on the global music market in popular music history, and verified the theory and results through an expert survey using the Likert scale. In addition, the problems caused by the idol bias phenomenon were considered based on the theory of cultural diversity, and improvement directions were also suggested to solve this problem.
Presenting symbolic concepts consistent with the culture of the host country and international trends at international events will win the favor of the world and raise the image of the host country. The international event mascot symbolically represents the host country's unique culture, and is a good means to enhance the sense of belonging and pride of its members and to display the image of the host country in an outwardly. This study discussed the symbolic elements of the host country characteristics reflected in FIFA's World Cup event mascot. A total of 14 mascots of World Cup events were held from 1966 to 2018, and their materials can be divided into animals, plants, people and creations. The mascot was applied with the characteristic elements of regional specialties, the flag of the host country, symbolic attire, language of the hosting area, social issues and the mascot's dress, posture, props and expression characters of soccer events were used as symbolic elements. First of all, the implications of the research were that mascots were more strongly expressing the "football" signifying element, the theme of events, rather than regional characteristics. Second, the use of 'national flag' was highlighted among the elements of expressing regional characteristics. Third, 'animal' was preferred for mascot material. Fourth, mascots have become integrated with 'cultural perfumes' and play an extended role in raising social awareness. Implications derived from the classification of characteristics and symbol representation elements raised in this study will be used as a basis for the planning of international event mascots.
Hahoebyeolsingut Talnori, which is under permanent performance, has lost its relevance to folklore and rituals of the villagers and has secured the possibility of change depending on the actor's choice. This article seeks to expand the current stuck performance of Hahoe mask play, which has great significance as a play and play for the audience. To this end, We studied the possibility of expanding the performance of Hahoe Talnori by trans-identity of the Choragi. Chorangi character derides yangban, seonbi and monk, who are representatives of the establishment. Those who have a consciousness of potential transformation, those who passively represent the masses, and those who are tacitly authorized by the audience to ridicule the ruling class. The audience feels exhilarated by the super-cool, but at the same time reduces the limits. We transformed Chorangi who is clever but cannot overcome the limits of his status, into a character with a sense of transformation by applying the method of turnning identity and changing identity of the theory of trans-identity. And I applied the method of expansion of the media conversion storytelling theory to create a new Chorangi Madang that conforms to the audience's needs and the spirit of the times. In addition to the performance of Yangban Seonbi Madang(Act of Nobleman and Scholar) which ends with an ambiguous reconciliation, we wanted to complete it in a way that even today's audiences could accept by applying the function of the Hahoebyeolsingut Talnori ambassador and the principle of implementation. And We writed it in a script. This article is meant to be an experimental study that attempted to transform traditional performing arts in the context of new creation of tradition. Preservation and transmission of traditional performing arts are important, but it is necessary to move forward according to the trend and spirit of the times.
Profound changes have occurred in the archival landscape since the advent of community archives and the global spread of archival art. This trend can be seen in Korea where a noticeable growth in archival arts and local community archives can be observed. This study explores how archival arts in Korea function when they are specifically intended to play a role in local community archiving. For this purpose, we analyzed the 'Gyeonggi archive_Now (2018)' and 'Seongbuk Documenta (2016-2018)' exhibitions, which were both exemplary cases of archival arts exhibited in connection with local community archives. Based on the analysis of the Gyeonggi Archive, which was aimed at strengthening the local identity of Gyeonggi Province, as well as the analysis of Seongbuk Documenta, which focused on the loss of place that resulted from redevelopment projects in the area of Seongbuk-gu, this study identifies the multiple roles of artists in archiving work. This study also reveals the variety of archiving works that exist and illuminates the value that such initiatives have in constructing local identity and reviving a sense of place. In particular, this research shows that archival art has the potential to empower local community archives while also providing opportunities to boost artistic creation. Our research concludes by highlighting the necessity of promoting the right environment and conditions that are required for archival arts if they are to play a role not only in keeping records and memories but also in producing further knowledge and discourse in a local community.
This study critically analyzed the user experience (UX) of mobile applications, focusing on the advertising platforms of mobile applications for culture and arts content. This study aims to examine the direction for growth of the related mobile applications and propose alternative approaches to improve usability. In this study, a mobile app named 'Moviepre' was selected, and a heuristic evaluation was performed for in-depth exploration. For the selected case, the UX Honeycomb model was reconstructed to analyze useful, usable, desirable, findable, accessible, and credible elements of the case. First, since the users' preference for the price factor did not show a significant correlation with the usefulness of the content and the interface, it is necessary to make sure that the mobile application has unique values to gain a competitive advantage in the market. Second, by adopting customer path stages for analysis, the result indicated that users continuously interact with the service from the first moment they are aware of the mobile application. Third, if the user feels uncomfortable, it is likely that these factors hinder the establishment of a long-term relationship between the users and the mobile application. Finally, brand identity should be clearly established, and brand image strategy needs to be developed to satisfy users' expectations that high-quality culture and arts content will be available through the mobile application.
