Development of e-PBL Based on Web 2.0 (웹 2.0 기반의 e-PBL 모형 개발)

  • Although the acquisition of information may be done individually, knowledge is created from the social context of peers, teachers. And feedback on the appropriateness and effectiveness of their knowledge and skill is commonly received. Learning occures effectively within environment that have shared understanding of problems and various tools to solve problems. The purpose of this study is to apply the main principles of creative Problem solving and develop e-PBL(Problem-Based Learning) to enhance creative problem solving skill. In this research, the group of students who studied by means of e-PBL based on web 2.0 showed much more satisfaction and problem solving skill than the other group of students who did by e-Learning.

Middle-School Programming Classes Utilizing App Inventor Game Creation and the Analysis of their Educational Outcomes (앱 인벤터 게임 작성을 활용한 중학생의 프로그래밍 수업 및 학습 성과 분석)

  • In many countries, recently computer programming eduction has become mandatory for K-12 students. Generally since programming is difficult for K-12 students to learn, a lot of previous works have been published in which the study motivation and class satisfaction increased when game programming was applied to programming classes. We investigated a research in which we used game programming in the programming classes for middle-school students, and analyzed educational effects. In this paper, we described the specification of the games and our class model that were applied in the research. Also, we analyzed changes made to computation thinking abilities, creative thinking abilities, and perceived support for programming after the programming classes. As a result, it was found that those abilities and the perceived support were increased. Additionally, we applied Havruta learning, a kind of paired learning, in the programming class, and have known that it increased the educational outcome with respect to the traditional method.

  • This study aims to enhance learners' creative and integrative thinking through the use of a practical music education program, facilitating high-quality artistic activities and the integration of various disciplines. To achieve this, a practical music education program incorporating the PDIE model was designed, and the content validity of the developed program was verified. Through this process, We have researched and described methodologies for multidisciplinary research that can be applied in practical music education. This paper focuses on the fourth session of the study, which deals with the creative and integrative education of practical music and mathematics. The mathematical theory of interest in this research is the Fibonacci sequence, fundamental to the golden ratio in art. The goal is to enable balanced and high-quality creative activities through learning and applying the Fibonacci sequence. Additionally, to verify the validity and effectiveness of the instructional plan, including the one used in the 15-week course, we have detailed the participants involved in the content validation, the procedures of the research, the research tools used, and the methods for collecting and analyzing various data. Through this, We have confirmed the potential of creative and integrative education in higher practical music education and sought to develop educational methodologies for cultivating various creative talents in subsequent research.

Educational Effectiveness of Elementary School Expressive Activities and Various Convergence Education (초등학교 표현활동과 다양한 융합수업의 교육적 효과)

  • This study was to verify the effects of education in expression activity and various convergence education found in the class scene of one elementary school man teather to research of qualitative pattern and analyzes how it is expanded. This study were made through two class participation observation and six video analysis. In addition, we measured in-depth interviews of participants and students, a 10-week jump band training program, and applied a step-by-step physical activity program to enhance creative expressiveness. Based on the results of the study, the conclusions are as follows. First, It was found that the Jump-band training positively affects the students' speed, agility, and cardiopulmonary endurance. Second, It was found that the application of the step-by-step physical expression activity program had a positive effect on the students themselves. Third, It was found that it has an educational effect on the whole life of students beyond the curriculum and the field by attempting various fusion education. Based on this study, we propose the educational effects of the pre - curricular activities and the convergence lessons in elementary school during the follow - up research.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 PEST 방법론을 적용한 STEAM 프로그램 개발 및 적용에 대한 효과성을 알아보는 창의교육을 위한 연구이다. 특히, 이 연구는 과학문화 소외지역에 대한 이동천문대 활용 STEAM 프로그램을 개발하여 이에 대한 학생들의 수업효과 및 만족도를 알아보는 연구로, 과학 문화에 소외된 지역의 학생들에게 천문에 대한 흥미를 주어 향후 천문과학의 올바른 과학적 개념을 이해하고 미래 직업으로서 천문관련 분야에 관심을 갖도록 하는 데 있다. 이 연구에서 개발한 STEAM 프로그램은 관련분야 전문가 5명이 한국천문연구원을 통해 이동천문대 교육 프로그램에 대한 지속적인 연구와 PEST 방법론 적용 및 소외지역에 대한 현장 적합성 연구를 5회의 워크숍과 전문가 타당화회의와 Pilot test를 통해 최종 STEAM 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이 연구에서 개발된 STEAM 프로그램의 적용 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이 연구에서 개발된 이동천문대는 모든 학생들에게 천문에 대한 호기심을 자극하는 긍정적인 효과를 나타내었다. 둘째, 이 프로그램은 총 11시간의 PEST 방법을 적용한 프로그램으로, '상황제시 1차시, 감성적 체험 5차시, 창의적 설계 5차시로 구성되어 과학문화 소외지역 학생들에게 높은 수업 만족도를 나타내었다. 따라서 PEST 방법을 적용한 이동천문대 STEAM 프로그램은 학습자의 천문과학에 대한 과학적 소양과 과학적 본성을 불러일으키는데 매우 긍정적인 효과를 나타낼 것으로 사료되며, 추후 연구에서 다양한 학년과 지역 및 위계에 따른 프로그램의 개발과 적용될 필요가 있다.

  • This study examined the effects of STEAM program using authoring tool on elementary school students' creative personality and science-related attitude. For this study, after analyzing curriculum from the first term of 6th grade and extracting the learning elements and topic, I developed lesson plans and App contents. As a result of applying STEAM program using Storyline to 6th grade elementary school class. dividing two groups-experimental group, comparison group-for this study, tested t-test, the test result of experimental group got a meaningful result statistically. There was positive effect on improving elementary school students' creative personality and science-related attitude.

  • This study is a case of convergence education using the AI model of entry in elementary schools. The subject is English, and the class was conducted based on the image learning model among the convergence activities with the art department drawing and the AI model of the entry. In order to effectively achieve the learning goals of speaking and writing in English education. The class was designed by combining art and SW. Students experienced communication using AI, improved confidence, and were able to improve creativity and communication skills by expressing not only listening and speaking but also expressing through various media such as pictures and photos. In addition, in order to find out the effectiveness of the class, a survey was conducted on students and the results were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it was found that it had a positive effect on students' participation rate, degree of understanding AI after class, interest in AI, satisfaction with AI classes.

Analysis of Changes in the Actual Condition of Distance Learning due to COVID-19 (COVID-19에 따른 원격 수업 운영 실태의 변화 분석)

  • In this paper, the results of previous studies and surveys conducted in this study were compared and analyzed to find out how the actual condition of distance learning being conducted due to COVID-19 is changing. As a result, it was found that the'content-oriented class' is being used the most in the current online class, and teachers are spending a lot of time preparing for class. In addition, it was found that' providing appropriate contents as learning materials' is the first item to be supported for online classes. Therefore, in order to improve online classes in the future, it is needed that learning materials that can be used to create class content should be provided to teachers sufficiently. Also, IT equipment and network expansion and the training of teachers for distance learning should be provided.

An Effect of Storytelling-based Robot Programming Class (스토리텔링을 활용한 로봇 프로그래밍 수업의 효과)

  • 21C future learners are required to have creative thinking and problem-solving capability to address an issue wisely by integrating and applying knowledge and functions. The robot education that has recently been studied in primary and secondary schools was reported to be effective in satisfying the requirements. The robot education varies ranging from the existing after-school education to an integrated approach used for regular curriculums, and has actively been studied. Nevertheless, aside from positive study results, any studies on the environment where primary school students can learn robot and programming knowledge more friendly is still insufficient. Therefore, this study was intended to give students a robot class with the use of storytelling friendly to students in order for primary school students to learn robot and programming knowledge with ease. The study result showed that acquirement of programming knowledge was improved, and that the students had a positive learning attitude. In addition, it was found that the storytelling of the robot class helped provide the entire learning context and continuous learning motivation for the students.

  • 2015 개정 교육과정에선 소프트웨어 교육이 강화되고, 정보문화소양, 컴퓨팅 사고력, 협력적 문제해결력을 교과 역량으로 제시하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에선 창의적 인제양성을 위한 효율적인 소프트웨어 교육을 위해, 하브루타를 접목한 알고리즘과 프로그래밍 수업모형을 제안하고자 한다. 여러 교과의 선행연구에서, 학습능력과 창의력 향상에 대한 하브루타 교육방식의 긍정적 효과를 입증하고 있다. 이에 질문, 토론 중심의 유대인의 교육방식인 하브루타를 소프트웨어 교육에 접목하여 협력적 문제해결을 통한 컴퓨팅 사고력의 신장을 기대해본다.
