A Study of Shared Values as Moderating Effects on the Relationships between Learning Organization and Organizational Effectiveness (학습조직과 조직유효성의 관계에서 공유가치의 조절효과)

  • This study is to find out that how the personal, collective, and organizational learning method three learning organization affect the job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and innovative action through the questionnaire of company members, and to verify the moderating effects of shared values in this relation. The results show that three learning organization have a positive effect on the job satisfaction, and a partial effect on organizational commitment and innovative action, and shared values influence positively on the job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and innovative action. The moderating effects of shared values in the relation between three learning organization and Organizational Effectiveness are as follows : First, shared values can moderating the influence of collective and organizational learning organization on the job satisfaction, but can't moderating the relation between a personal learning method and the job satisfaction. Second, shared values can moderating the influence of collective and organizational learning organization on the organizational commitment, but can't moderating the relation between a personal learning method and the organization commitment. Third, shared values can moderating the influence of personal and organizational learning organization on the innovative action, but can't moderating the relation between the collective learning method and the innovative action.

The Effect of Organizational Efficacy, Self-efficacy, Nursing Professionalism on Organizational Commitment in General (종합병원간호사의 조직효능감, 자기효능감, 간호전문직이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was designed to help the operation of the hospital organization through analysis of factors influencing organizational commitment of general hospital nurses. 129 nurses in general hospitals were targeted in G City. This study was conducted to analyze the effects of group efficacy, self-efficacy, and nursing professionals on organizational commitment. T-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, Descriptive statistics and multiple regression were used. Stepwise regression analysis found that organizational commitment was affected by group efficacy(β=0.240, p =.003), nursing professionalism(β=0.229, p =.004) and daytime work(β=0.249, p =.003), The F statistic was 10.478 (p <.001). Therefore, in order to improve organizational commitment, it will be necessary to prepare communication programs and cooperation programs per unit to improve collective efficacy. In addition, it is necessary to improve the system, such as a system dedicated to night workers, so that the working hours of nurses in general hospitals can be maintained constant. In addition, it is necessary to develop a support program so that nursing professionals do not decrease due to disappointment in reality in the nursing field.

The Impact of Communication and Conflict on Group Cohesiveness and Organization Effectiveness in Ship Organization (선박조직의 의사소통과 갈등이 집단응집성 및 조직유효성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the relation between communication and conflict in the ship organization and to analyze the affect of the conflict on the group cohesiveness and organizational effectiveness in the view of dysfunctional conflict that would play on the negative role to decrease the group cohesiveness and organizational effectiveness. The empirical survey showed that the intragroup and intergroup communications in the ship organization affect on the conflict of within and between groups, these conflicts decrease the group cohesiveness and organizational effectiveness, and that cohesiveness affect the organizational commitment and the job satisfaction of ship organization member significantly.

Relationship between Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment According to Women Leaders' Gender Role (여성 리더의 성 역할에 따른 직무만족과 조직몰입의 관계)

  • This research attempts to carry an empirical study on women leaders' gender-related leadership styles and relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. For these purpose, this study built two hypotheses based on literature review and tested them using the survey method of 1,172 female workers in sales departments of the K company. The results of this study show that both the androgynous gender role and the masculine gender role are superior to the feminine gender role in employees' job satisfaction and organizational commitment level. But there isn't significant level difference in job satisfaction and organizational commitment between androgynous gender role and the masculine gender role.

  • This study attempted to verify the relationship among Job Attitude, Personality and Demographic Characteristics according to Dual Commitment Type. The groups were named 'very high dual commitment group(both highly committed to the organization and union)', 'normal dual commitment group(average level of commitment to both of them)', 'resisting dual commitment group(no commitment to both of them)', 'organization commitment group(only committed to organization)', 'union commitment group(only committed to union)'. This research was analyzed by 388 Hyundai and Kia motor company members and 'very high dual commitment group' and 'organizational commitment group' showed the highest Job Satisfaction and Job Involvement. Through group segmentations considering sub-concepts could contribute to design a strategy to increase the company's competitiveness in aspects of the direction to the HR policy.

Influence that Wage Satisfaction of the private Security Guards has on Devotion Organization (민간경비원의 임금만족이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • As the society changes, the Private Security has developed highly in a short time. However, it has brought about various problems. The best urgent problem of those problems is the wage problem. This study is examining into the difference with the wage satisfaction and devotion to organization, and analyzing influence that wage satisfaction has on devotion to organization. According to this research, the first, women appeared higher numerical value than men in satisfaction with a wage level, wage disparity, wage system and the welfare system and the highest age group is over 26 year-old. While the college graduates appeared high satisfaction with a wage level and wage disparity, the university graduates is high satisfaction with wage system and the welfare. This shows that as the scholarship is high, they think they must be getting wages higher and higher as their work result or produce. The second, in devotion to his(her) organization, the men is higher than the women. The third, the men show the high emotional devotion because the men devote to his work on his own initiative while the women show the high continuos service devotion because they are passively. The fourth, over the 26-year old group appeared high level in devotion to his(her) organization, the university graduate group appeared high level both the emotional devotion and the continuous service devotion. The long-term employed person showed the satisfaction with job position, pay grade, and career and also appeared high in devotion to his(her) organization. The fifth, as the scholarship is low, they were concerned about a wage level and wage disparity but, as the scholarship is high, they were concerned about the wage system and the welfare. The wage satisfaction has influence on the scholarship, job position and career therefore, the long-term employed persons showed high wage satisfaction and devotion to his(her) organization. In conclusion, for the development of Private Security and high devotion to organization, the wage level of private security guards must be systematize and the quality of the welfare must be improved. And the many factors about the wage and welfare must be studied and analyzed to occupy as one of the skill lists through the educational-industrial collaboration.

The Effects of Authentic Leadership on Employee's In-role Performance in Ppuri Company : Analysis of Moderating Effects between Foreigner and Native (뿌리기업 진정성리더십이 조직원 역할 내 성과에 미치는 영향 : 외국인과 내국인의 조절효과 분석)

  • The ppuri industry is growing in technical importance due to the 4th industrial revolution and is growing steadily. However, securing skilled workers is hardly realistic, and foreign workers are increasing. The purpose of this study is to find organizational commitment on for improvement of in-role performance of foreigners and Koreans working in ppuri companies and to find ways to support differentiation through comparison between groups. The subjects of this study were foreigners and Koreans in the ppuri company. Through the survey, 393 valid samples were collected. We use structural equation modeling to verify the research hypotheses, and conducted a survey on the employees of organization with information security policy. The results showed that in the case of foreigners, balanced processing affects in-role performance through organizational commitment. In the case of Koreans, relational transparency, balanced processing, and internalized moral perspectives affect in-role performance through organizational commitment. The results of the analysis suggest a strategic approach to improve the in-role performance of each group.

The Influence of Organizational Collectivism and Individualism on Affective Commitment: Comparative Study of Korea and China (개인주의-집단주의 성향이 개인-환경 적합성과 정서적 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 관한 한국·중국 비교연구)

  • In Korean companies, traditional collectivism have been merged into individualism caused by meritocracy. In order to better understanding about change of cultural characteristics, we examine the relationship between collectivism / individualism and person-environment fit. The data was obtained from 203 employees working in 5 Korean company and 173 employees in 4 companies in China. Results confirmed that collectivism increases employee's person-environment fit (person-organization, person-supervisor, person-coworker) and further leads to high levels of affective organizational commitment. The moderating roles that individualism play upon the relationships between collectivism and person-environment fit (person-organization, person-supervisor, person-coworker) were also investigated. Results confirmed that individualism enhance the impact collectivism has upon person-environment fit. In addition, this study found the significantly difference between Korea and China in effect of collectivism on person-environment fit. Lastly, the study also has explored theoretical and practical implications and the limitations of this research as well as the future directions of research.

From Contemplation to Participation: Empirical Study on Effect of Audience Participation on Aesthetic Experience (관조에서 참여로: 관객참여가 미적경험에 미치는 영향에 대한 실증연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the differences in aesthetic experience according to the level of audience participation. Flow experience and aesthetic distance were utilized as proxies for aesthetic experience. A total of 70 undergraduates participated in the experiments of this study. In terms of flow experience, active participation groups were found to have relatively greater flow experiences compared to contemplation groups and passive participation groups. However, there was no difference in flow experience between the contemplation groups and the passive participation groups. In light of aesthetic distance, which means psychological distance, people in active participation groups were found to have a closer psychological distance from artwork than those in contemplation groups and passive participation groups. Also, those who belonged to the passive participation group showed a closer psychological distance than the contemplation group. The results of this study provide artists and art organizations with implications for enhancing audience attraction as well as the completeness of artwork.

The Effect of Job Embeddedness on Seafarer's Turnover Intention (직무배태성(Job Embeddedness)이 선원의 이직의사에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to empirically identify how job embeddedness which is consisted of links, fit, and sacrifice affects seafarers' turnover intention via organizational commitment. The results of covariance structure analysis on the questionnaire data collected from 362 seafarers are as follows. First, as job embeddedness increases, the seafarers' organizational commitment also increases. Second, organizational commitment seems to have negative relationship with seafarers' turnover intention at the marginally significant level, since links and fit have direct negative relationship with turnover intention.
