Psychosocial Experience in Cheonan Warship Incident Survivors ('천안함 사건' 유가족의 심리사회적 경험)

  • This study is to understand the psychosocial experience in 'Cheonan Warship Incident Survivors'. The study question was how psychosocial experience in The Union of Family Bereaved by Cheonan Warship had been progressed. To answer this question 4 representers ofthe group and 2 reporters had been interviewed using a qualitative research method based on Phenomenology method. From this study the group's experience in had been revealed that they first crisis intervention are to identify and reinforce the strengths and coping skills of a one's family. Second, they gathered their opinion together and assigned the roles to the members, and then, requested what they want responding reasonably. The families' love, the representers' quick judgements and decisions, and the embarrassment of the military and media for the dead, who had been abandoned for long and decayed under the cold ocean, made the national support and respectful treatment possible for the dead and the family. The results of study will be applicable for individuals and groups, who need social work service as an empowerment intervention approach and crisis intervention are to identify and reinforce the strengths and coping skills of a one's family. The social worker's ability to anticipate, understand, and give therapeutic direction to the crisis reaction and the concerns of family members helps to bring around a successful crisis resolution. It is clear to us that wars, suicides, homicides in school settings, disaster and other events are providing unique challenges to social workers who are interested in learning more about the effects such events have on victims of traumatic events.

A study on behavior response of child by emotion coaching of teacher based on emotional recognition technology (감성인식기술 기반 교사의 감정코칭이 유아에게 미치는 반응 연구)

  • Emotion in early childhood has been observed to make an important effect on behavioral development. The teacher has coached to develop good behavior based on considering emotional response rather than rational response. This study was to determine significance of emotional coaching for behavior development according emotion recognized by non-verbal measurement system developed specially in this study. The participants were 44 people and were asked to study in four experimental situation. The experiment was designed to four situation such as class without coaching, behavioral coaching, emotion coaching, and emotion coaching based on emotional recognition system. The dependent variables were subjective evaluation, behavioral amplitude, and HRC (Heart Rhythm Coherence) of heart response. The results showed the highest positive evaluation, behavioral amplitude, and HRC at emotion coaching based on emotional recognition system. In post-doc analysis, the subjective evaluation showed no difference between emotion coaching and system based emotion coaching. However, the behavioral amplitude and HRC showed a significant response between two coaching situation. In conclusion, quantitative data such as behavioral amplitude and HRC was expected to solve the ambiguity of subjective evaluation. The emotion coaching of teacher using emotional recognition system was can be to improve positive emotion and psychological stability for children.

  • Ignominy are ashamed or that mind. It is noted that this article 'shame[恥]' will do for obtaining the social dynamics in some way in the literary aspect. To investigate this aspect, this article took the text produced on the basis of 'shame[恥]' to be analyzed. First, through the Sayuksin[死六臣]'s Sijo[時調], 'Shame[恥]' they have confirmed the room to go to form a sympathy by revealing without hidden. It is worth evaluating in common with these Sijo is that of justice or loyalty. But the parameters of evaluation described what people are rare. In this article, I saw the parameter to 'shame[恥]'. Second, through the Sijo created in the war of the middle age of Chosun Dynasty, I examined the aspect of 'anger' which sparked a shame[恥]. Thus shame[恥] is hard to change the world directly. However, the possibility that it can also be a psychological instrument was found to be sufficient. In conclusion, 'shame[恥]' is clearly greater tendency to dismiss as a private act of the heart. But, I understood that the negative region of 'shame[恥]' can be converted to positive region. At this time, The premise of 'shame[恥]' should always be oriented to justice.

정성적 시뮬레이션에 의한 화력발전소 보일러 프로세스의 고장진단

  • 최근 산업 플랜트의 공정제어 시스템은 복잡하고 대규모화되어 고장 발생시 경제적 손실과 위험성이 증폭되어 규정된 안정서와 신뢰성 확보가 필수적이라 할 수 있다. 고장검출 및 진단기법은 시스템의 신뢰성을 높이기 위한 효과적인 방안을 연구하는 것으로 현대에 들어서 많은 학자들의 관심을 끌고 있으며 실제 계통에 점차적으로 응용되고 있다. 현재까지 개발된 고장검출 및 진단기법은 사용된 프로세스 모델의 형태, 고장검출 진단 알고리즘에 따라 다양하게 분류 될 수 있으며 일반적으로 사용된 모델에 따라 크게 1) 정량적 모델에 근거한 해석적 기법, 2) 정성적 모델에 근거한 기법, 3) 지식기반 진단 기법으로 구분 할 수 있다. 이중 정량적 모델 기법은 대상계통의 수학적 모델에 근거하여 운전 데이터를 분석함으로서 고장검출 진단을 수행하는 해석적 기법으로서 근본적으로 계통의 정확한 수학적 모델을 요구하므로 불확실성을 포함한 계통 및 비선형성이 강한 계통등에는 적용이 곤란하다. 정성적 모델 및 지식기반 기법은 정량적 진단 기법과는 달리 대상 프로세스에 대한 수학적 모델 대신에 운전자의 경험과 프로세스 변수간의 상호 작용 및 고장의 전파과정, 고장원인과 증상과의 직접적인 관계에 대한 구조적 지식에 근거한 것으로 고장원인에 대한 계통의 동작을 추론 할 수 있으며, 상황 변화에 따른 영향을 예측할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 정성적 모델 및 지식기반 기법에 근거한 고장검출 및 진단 기술을 화력 발전소 보일로 프로세스에 적용하여 정성적 시뮬레이션에 의한 설비의 고장을 조기에 발견하여 고장 파급으로 인한 발전 정지 및 설비의 손상 확대를 방지하고 고장 발생시 신속한 원인 규명 및 후속 조치관련 정보들을 운전원에게 제공할 목적으로 현재 전력원에서 개발중인 지능형 경보시스템에 대하여 기술하고자 한다.음과 같이 설명하였다. 서로 상반되는 것들이 다음과 같이 설명하였다. 서로 상반되는 것들이 부딛힘이 없이 공존하고 일상의 논리가 무시된다. 부정, 의심이 없고 확실한 것이 없다. 한 대상에 가졌던 생각이 다른 대상에 옮겨간다(displacement). 한 대상이 여러 대상이 갖고 있는 의미를 함축하고 있다(condensation). 시각적인 순서가 무시된다. 마음속의 생각과 외부의 실제적인 일을 구분하지 못한다. 시간 상의 순서가 있다가 없다가 한다. 차례로 일어나야 할 일이 동시에 한꺼번에 일어난다. 대상들이 서로 비슷해지고 동시에 있을 수 없는 대상들이 함께 나타난다. 사고의 정상적인 구조가 와해된다. Matte-Blance는 무의식에서는 여러 독립된 대상들간의 구분을 없애며, 주체와 객체를 하나로 보려는 대칭화(symmetrization)의 경향이 있기 때문에 이런 변화가 생긴다고 하였다. 또 대칭화가 진행되면 무한대의 느낌을 갖게 되어, 전지(moniscience), 전능(omnipotence), 무력감(impotence), 이상화(idealization)가 나타난다. 그러나 무의식에 대칭화만 있는 것은 아니며, 의식의 사고양식인 비대칭도 어느 정도 나타나며, 대칭화의 정도에 따라, 대상들이 잘 구분되어 있는 단계, 의식수준의 감정단계, 집단 내에서의 대칭화 단계, 집단간에서의 대칭화 단계, 구분이 없어지는 단계로 구분하였다.systems. Indigenous psychological analysis of elderly parents care among adolescents and their parents (청소년과 부모 세대의 노부모 부양인식에 대한 토착심리 탐구)

  • The main purpose of this research is to investigate the qualitative nature of Korean adolescents and their parent's perception of elderly parents care. In addition, this research exams the quantitative differences between the two generations in term of their elderly parents care self-efficacy and attitude towards caring for their elderly parents. Further, an examination of the parental influence upon their children's elderly parents care self-efficacy and attitude towards caring for their elderly parents. There were 2,460 participants in this study, with 820 adolescents, and 820 fathers and 820 mothers. The results of the study were as follows: First, in terms the participants perceptions of "the most difficult aspect of caring for elderly parents", the most representative response for adolescents was financial difficulties, while for parents differences in opinions. When it came to "the best aspect of caring for elderly parents" the most representative response for adolescents was harmonious family, while for parents good for children's upbringing. When it came to "actual acts (behavior) of elderly parents care" the most representative response for adolescents was living together with their elderly parents, while for parents looking after their elderly parents. When it came to "the best method of caring for their elderly parents" the most representative response for both adolescents and parents was providing a peace-of-mind for their elderly parents, followed by the second most frequent response of adolescents living together with their elderly parents, and for parents talking with their elderly parents. When it came to "how one feels when not caring for their elderly parents" the most representative response for both groups was a feeling of indebtedness. Second, for the quantitative analyses of the differences between the two generations, the parents showed a lower level of elderly parents care self-efficacy and a higher level of negative attitude towards caring for their elderly parents, when compared to the adolescents. Third, for the parental influence upon the adolescents' elderly parents care self-efficacy and attitude towards caring for their elderly parents, the only significant influence found was the mothers' elderly parents care self-efficacy.

  • Disgust is caused by human being incompleteness and also its denial. Therefore the understanding of disgust is concerned with the understanding of humans. Thinking critically about disgust, we can solve the problems of disgust and reflect on our limitations. I will refer to Nussbaum's view which finds out in "projective disgust" an antipathy to human fault and a wish for completeness. This article is interested in the fact that disgust is not only a rejective feeling of a person but also a collective emotion which is connected with an antagonistic relationship and power exercise. Specifically, this article focuses on the point that disgust is mobilized to maintain a dominative relationship between humans. This is associated with the inner characteristics of disgust because disgust in itself contains a one-sided perspective, exclusiveness, hierarchy, and domination. This article aims to reveal a collusion between disgust and domination. For the purpose we will pay attention to two basic inclinations which are immanent in disgust; purity and exclusion, while relying on Nussbaum's view of disgust. In accordance with this analysis, this article will specificity treat disgust which can be summarized as an ideological function of emotion and its violent tendency. Then, we can ensure that disgust threats the equal and dignitary worth of human beings and hinders the diversity and rationality of a liberal society. In addition, it will be emphasized that disgust should not be used as an ideology which discriminates and suppresses a specific group in a society.

Disaster : Concepts and Responses in Prehistoric Times from the Viewpoint of Analytical Psychology (선사시대 원시인의 재난과 대처양식에 대한 분석심리학적 연구 : 신화와 암각화를 중심으로)

  • Disaster is externally an incident that causes enormous damage to society and humanity. Disaster also internally stimulate a variety of personal and collective complexes in the human mind. The sinking of Sewol Ferry in 2014 was a disaster that took away countless lives. People not only in South Korea but around the world were deeply affected by the incident. While directly taking part in disaster mental health support and meeting with people who were sunk in sorrow and helplessness and feeling the collapse of conceit against modern technological civilization, I realised the need to conduct study and research on the conscious and unconscious response from the viewpoint of analytical psychology. This research investigates the response and management of disaster in prehistoric times mainly through myths and petroglyphs. This study aims to consider the problems and improvements of disaster response in the modern times by finding the distinct cultural characteristics and the universal, fundamental, and archetypal human nature inherent in the concepts of disaster and responses to disaster and discovering their meaning and wisdom. Creation myths around the world show that in the beginning there was a disaster as part of the universal creation. Humanity has understood disaster as a periodic renewal of the world by the oppositeness between destruction and creation and had the idea that violation of taboo to be the cause of disaster since prehistoric times. Disaster could be interpreted as the intention of the Self that renews the fundamental consciousness through the externally appearing destructive action. Various rituals performed by man on earth renovates the human consciousness during a mental crisis situation, such as a disaster, and corresponds with the unconscious to create an opportunity for psychological regeneration that seeks harmony. Modern society has neglected the importance of internal dealing and the suffering human soul and concentrated on the external, technological and administrative actions related with disaster response. We cannot determine the occurrence of a disaster, but we can determine how to deal with the disaster. While developing external disaster response, we need to ponder on the meaning of disaster and conduct internal disaster response that care for human mind. Through this, we will understand the meaning of pain and have renewed mature psyche.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the "map of mind" or subjectivity regarding consumption behaviors of consumers in the digital environment. This study investigated the values and psychological and behavioral characteristics that motivate consumption for each types of consumers in digital environment. 76 Statements were selected from literature review and popular press articles that introduced consumption related phenomena. A total of 33 participants included experts on digital consumption and lay person, The results indicated that there are 6 groups representing Korean consumption patterns in digital environment: Digital Modernist, Digital Boomer, Digital Chic, Digital Ludens, Digital Conservative, and Digital Renaissance. This research is meaningful in that it provides a framework to view the diverse consumption behaviors in a more holistic rather than independent perspective, considering psychological aspects such as personal values and lifestyles.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze work values of undergraduates according to major and gender. The result of this research is following. First, undergraduates from engineering and social science department took a very serious view of achievement and leasure of body and mind in work values. Second, undergraduates made much of achievement, job stability, leasure of body and mind, economic compensation and reputation. And undergraduates thought that internal value orientation was more important than external value orientation. Third, two groups had significant difference in service, knowledge pursuit, patriotism, economic compensation, reputation, and indoor activity. Fourth, the result of this analysis according to gender is following. Male undergraduates made much of leasure of body and mind, achievement, job stability, knowledge pursuit, and economic compensation in order. But female undergrduates made much of economic compesation, leasure of body and mind, achievement, and job stability in order. Fifth, that undergraduates make little of domain of service and patriotism gives a suggestion as to improvement of course education. As a result, this study is suggestive of instruction and advice in course search curriculum.

Moral Implication and Contemporary Value of 'Harmony but not Sameness' Stated by Confucius (자 '화이부동(和而不同)'의 윤리적 함의와 현대적 가치)

  • Confucius made endless thoughts on such themes as enlightening for the internal value of human, how to draw out such value and how to make personal relationship in order to overcome the chaotic Chun-qiu age. The spirit of 'Harmony but not Sameness' stated by Confucius passes us the theoretical meaning for making a good relationship with the others, which is realization of Benevolence. The spirit of 'Harmony but not Sameness' pursues moral, public and golden-mean value. This pursuit is made to look for harmonization and coexistence in personal relation, community based relation and, furthermore, relation with the nature, so that a great man is an entirely-good person who has realized the spirit of 'Harmony but not Sameness'. The spirit of 'Harmony but not Sameness' throws to us many issues to think of for the social unity, 'living together', which is the central theme of today. The objects for which the 'living together' shall be embodied are the minor groups of our society and those who are relatively expelled from the power and benefit including multi-culture based families, north Korean refugees and etc. Such open mind for harmonization and coexistence gives us, furthermore, another important issue to think of also in the matter of environment that includes the ecosystem and the entire nature.
