Notwithstanding various discourses among scholars on the unique characteristics of comics, in Korea there is nevertheless a scarcity of quality research on the subject. Therefore, to promote quality research, it is important to consider how to best use source materials in the field of comics scholarship. Source materials can generally be categorized into three types: pre-existing comics, scholar-generated comics and user-generated comics. For this study, user-generated comics are the primary source materials, specifically comics created by mothers of children with disabilities. It is intended that this research will contribute to the future direction of education for mothers who suffer from a relative sense of alienation as the primary caregivers of children with special needs. Although therapeutic arts and cultural programs make a tremendous difference in the lives of these mothers, teaching methodology and educational opportunities are extremely limited. Furthermore, existing scholarship focuses primarily on either the psychological transformation of the individual or a phenomenological approach for parents to understand and deal with the problematic behavior of children with disabilities. However, this research does little to help improve learning programs for these parents. Against this backdrop, this research sets out to consider the potentiality and effectiveness of using comics in the education of mothers of children with disabilities. These mothers, by creating comics, develop better awareness of themselves in a positive and enriching way. It is therefore hoped that this research provides a useful analysis for developing the potentiality and effectiveness of these programs.

인류의 해양에 대한 의존도가 점차 높아지면서 해양과 인류의 관계를 이해하고 이를 통해 해양의 지속가능성을 유지하기 위한 해양교육은 외국뿐만 아니라 국내에서도 더욱 활발하게 진행되어 가는 추세이다. 북미의 경우 해양교육의 증가에 비례하여 해양교육에 대한 연구도 양적으로 급격히 증가하였음은 물론이고 그 방법 또한 매우 다양하게 이루어지고 있다. 연구란 연구자가 가진 패러다임, 존재론, 인식론을 기반으로 이루어지므로 이에 대해 개략적으로 고찰한 뒤 양적, 질적, 혼합 방법론이 지닌 장점과 제한점을 논의한다. 해양교육과 관련된 북미의 연구논문들(1980년~ 2011년)을 대상으로 연구자들이 사용한 다양한 연구방법 및 디자인을 연구사례와 함께 소개하여 한국에서의 해양교육 연구 설계를 위한 참고자료를 제공한다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the culture of an academic library, fictitiously titled the New Millennium Library(NML). The study employed various research methods: pilot interviews with academic library workers, field observation at NML, a value survey conducted among NML workers and structured interviews with selected volunteers fromthe pool of survey respondents. Information gathered on the NML's culture is presented in a chart of five cultural dimensions and three organizational layers. The study is expected to inform library culture research as well as organizational culture research through a utilization of mixed methodology.

Modern cities' paradigm is rapidly changing to evolve into multi-functional spaces including living space, culture, welfare and environment. Therefore, upon these changing needs, the cultural images and the quality control became major issues in this area. This thesis will examine cultural contents development, a successful case-study, and the analysis of complex space development plan. Thereby each development case in cultural contents area will be extracted and it will seek to find out how they could make a complex cultural space. Moreover, the role and boundary of each Project Management case and Project Manager will be analyzed. The analysis showcases the importance of comprehensive and systematic management system. As a result, along with the recognition of the strong ground for Project Management and Project Manager, comprehensive planand the most effective management system for various complex cultural space development plans would be PM application which is expected to be new alternatives to improve complex space development quality.

This study conducted in-depth interviews of seven parents with autistic adults and analyzed them using qualitative case study methods in order to understand overall meaning of care experiences of parents with autistic adult children. Thus, four key topics which are 'experience of embracement', 'experience of anticipation', 'experience of despair', 'experience of resistance' were constructed. Under these key topics, 12 subcategories which are 'accepting reality', 'positive experience', 'gradual improvement', 'desire to provide better quality of life', 'expectation towards the society', 'strenuous lives', 'psychological exhaustion', 'predicted anxiety', 'defensive attitude', 'distrust of social welfare', 'confronting injustice', 'active behaviors' were constructed. According to the analysis, care experiences of parents with autistic adults are not segmentary, but they are intertwined which make them more dynamic. Thus, easing their despair, empowering positiveness to them, and assisting them to have healthy resistant voice are needed to support the parents with autistic adults. Based on the analysis, we suggest an intervention plan to support autistic adults and their parents.

This case study tried to explore the food insecurity experiences of poor households with children, since 'food insecurity experiences' of poor households represents economic inequality and social deprivation in the midst of a affluent society. Interviewees in this reports reported that they have found difficulties with buying right or enough food materials due to short of income. As well, they have usually experienced the selection and use of only low-grade foods, substitution for more cheap food materials, limitation of available food materials(especially, meats and fruits), and monotonous diets in their everyday lives. Sometimes, their children skipped their meals due to their monotonous diets. To sum up, I could identify that they(poor households with children) had experienced many components of 'food insecurity' constructs in their daily lives. In spite of, there are some distinction between reports through food insecurity scale and records of interviews and the various foods-supply programs have supplemented their food insecure situation. Therefore, we should give consideration to these in the use and interpretation of the results of food insecurity scales.

The purpose of this study is to understand the experiences of older adults living in the public welfare housing for the elderly and to examine what kind of this housing is as the housing alternative. Through the Robert Stake's intrinsic case study, it explored how older residents experienced this place, and how the relationships between residents, office workers, and community had been in the process, and what kind of issues were there. Various kinds of data, such as resident surveys, participant observations, interviews with 76 elderly residents and 4 office workers, and related newspaper articles, were analyzed using the thematic analysis method and methods suggested by Stake(1995). The results are presented as follows. First, it looked at who lived here and explored what was happening in this place where people of various backgrounds were gathered. Second, four types of life could be seen centering on the social relationship and daily life of older adults. Third, this study examined how the various ways of life were related to the main reasons for moving in here, and summarized how the residents perceived this place. The fourth and the fifth examined the relationships and dynamics among older residents, with office workers, and with the community, focusing on the two issues most commonly mentioned by residents. The results of this study show that, as a living organism, the interaction between the systems affects not only the culture of the housing, but also the lives of older adults. In particular, it can be seen how the perceptions of the practitioners are affecting the lives of the elderly. Based on the results of the study, further considerations were discussed.

공학교육인증제도는 질적으로 우수하고 국제적인 감각을 갖춘 엔지니어 양성을 위하여 전 세계적으로 실시하고 있고, 국내에서도 1999년 한국공학교육인증원이 설립되어 전국적으로 확산되고 있는 추세이다. 하지만 인증 관련 업무가 까다롭고 방대하기 때문에 수작업으로는 처리 할 수 없을 정도이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 공학인증 업무를 심층적으로 분석함으로써, 복잡하고 방대한 시스템을 효율적으로 구축할 수 있는 구성 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 제안한 방법에 따라 대학에서 실제로 사용 가능한 시스템을 구축한 사례를 소개하였다.

미래창조과학부는 공공기술 기반 기술창업을 가속화 하기 위해 2016년부터 '연구소기업'의 설립을 촉진하고 이에 대한 지원을 강화하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 공공기술 기반 기술창업 활성화의 문제를 진단하고 이에 대한 글로벌 관점의 성공기술창업플랫폼을 제안하는 것이 목적이다. 본 연구는 공공기술 기반 기술창업의 성과 창출궤적으로 제시되고 있는 공공기술-제조- -BtoB-글로벌의 라인 중 글로벌 관점에서 공공기술 기술창업기업의 성과창출을 도모할 수 있는 방안에 대해 전문가 인터뷰조사와 사례조사등을 통해 연구를 수행하였다. 연구결과, 공공기술기반 기술창업인 연구소기업등은 질적인 성과 즉 성공적 회수사례를 창출하기 위해서는 현재의 양적인 성과에서 벗어나 창업초기 신규창출형 연구소기업에 대한 민간벤처투자가 활성화되고, 혁신적인 사례창출을 다수하기 위해서는 글로벌 성과창출이 요구됨을 도출하였다. 특히 본 연구는 이에 대해 공공기술 기술창업의 문제를 배태한 성공창업 솔루션 플랫폼으로"Inbound" 글로벌플랫폼을 제안하고 있다.

A case study to show MS Excel's convenient and powerful functions was conducted to test hypotheses with subway data. Quantitative variables were described using descriptive menu, and qualitative variables were described using histogram menu of a MS Excel software. Relationships were tested using regression menu, differences were tested using t-test menu, and factors were tested using variance-layout menu of a Excel software. Data input, management, and statistical analysis were done successfully with only a MS Excel software.
