A Study on Measures of Professional Ethics Education for the Department Related to Guard (경호 관련학과 직업윤리교육 방안 연구)

  • The professional ethics for the guard is defined as the professional ethics that the person working as a guard to have. The professional ethics education builds the certainty and confidence about professional ethics recognition as well as behavior for guards so that helps the successful performance of the job. Therefore, this study tried to consider previous researches, understand the current professional ethics education for the department related to the guard and the case studies of incidents due to lack of professional ethics education to suggest the measures of activating professional ethics education. First, it is to consider the specialty of the guard to build the guard-martial spirit. Second, the professional ethics education must be out of the central culture study but develop as a major subject. Third, the quality and professionalism of the responsible professor of the professional ethics subject shall be considered. Forth, the professional ethics education must be performed not only at school but also continuously through the various ethics programs of the work places as well as organizations.

The Process of Construction of Korean Journalism Ethics as Job Ideology (직업이데올로기로서의 한국 언론윤리의 형성과정)

  • This study examines the characteristics of Korean journalism ethics as job ideology by analyzing the specific conditions revealed in the historical process of the construction of Korean journalism ethics, focusing on the change of social relationships which intervene in the construction of journalism ethics. By this interpretation, this study proposes the desirable directions in journalism ethics discussion and practice strategies in the journalism field. Therefore this study analyzed the historical process and the development phase of discourse in journalism ethics in which the job position of Korean journalists have changed. In result, this study found that the discourse of Korean was used for the instrumental and rhetorical means to cope with the outside pressure in the lack of occupational self-control which becomes the premise of ethics. Because of this, the Korean journalism ethics characterize the rhetorical feature of ethical code, the structured separation of practice from cognition, the conceptual confusion of responsibility from ethics.

The Meditating Effects of Public Employees Professionalism on the Relationship between Public Occupational Ethical Awareness and Organizational Commitment (공무원 직업윤리의식과 조직몰입의 관계에서 직업전문성의 매개효과)

  • Occupational ethical awareness is a system of norms and standards of behavior and an important component of professionalism that affects organizational performance and commitment. The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effect of professionalism on the relationship between job ethics and organizational commitment of civil servants. A survey was conducted on 300 central government officials with more than one year of employment. 261 copies were used for the final analysis. The results are as follows. First, the vocational ethics of civil servants had a significant effect on professionalism. The higher the years of service, the higher the level of ethics. Second, the work ethic of public officials had a significant effect on organizational commitment. These results can be interpreted as the internal commitment of civil servants to the state of work ethic. Third, the mediating effect of professionalism was verified in the relationship between public morality and organizational commitment. Based on these results, the public ethics of public servants are the basis for accepting public values and goals. Vocational expertise with embedded codes of conduct and value systems influences organizational commitment. As a practical implication for improving the ethical ethics of public officials, education programs for improving ethical consciousness according to job titles and duties were provided, and the ethical ethical competence was presented.

Ethical perception from practice of ethics education (윤리 교육경험에 따른 윤리 지식수준에 관한 연구)

  • 이 연구는 보건계열 학과에 재학 중인 학생들의 윤리교육 경험과 윤리교육 필요성인지에 따른 윤리지식수준의 차이를 살펴보고자, 보건계열 학과에 재학 중인 596명을 대상으로 자기기입법에 의한 설문조사법으로 2005년 4월 한달 동안 실시하였다. 연구에 사용된 연구도구로 독립변수는 의료 윤리 교육경험, 전문윤리 교육경험, 직업윤리 교육경험, 임상실습 경험, 전문윤리 교육 필요성 인지, 의료윤리 교육 필요성 인지이었고, 종속변수는 면허관련법규 지식수준, 전문윤리 지식수준, 의사결정판단 지식수준, 팀웍 지식수준이었다. 수집된 자료를 SPSS 12.0을 사용하여 기술통계와 t-test를 실시한 결과, 임상실습경험 직업윤리 교육경험 의료윤리 교육경험, 전문윤리 교육경험, 전문윤리 교육 필요성 인지에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 이 중 직업윤리 교육경험에 따라서는 4가지 윤리지식수준에서 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 정상적으로 학교에서의 윤리교육이 이루어져야 하고, 일반 윤리교육에 비해서 직업 윤리교육이 강화되어야 한다고 사료되었다.

The Effects of Teaching Professional Ethics on the Occupational Value and Educational Belief of Preservice Childcare Teachers (예비보육교사들의 교직윤리의식이 직업가치와 교육적신념에 미치는 영향)

  • The objective of this study was to understand factors of occupational ethics affecting occupational value and educational belief of preservice childcare teachers. In order to achieve this objective, a questionnaire survey was conducted targeting a total of 270 preservice childcare teachers in A city. Study results found that preservice childcare teachers highly perceived the ethics in young children and family out of the occupational ethics, the intrinsic value out of the occupational value, and the maturism and interactionism out of the educational belief. Second, the occupational ethics, occupational value, and educational belief of preservice childcare teachers showed statistically significant correlations. Third, the occupational ethics of preservice childcare teachers had positive effects on the occupational value and educational beliefs. Based on these results, it is necessary to conduct diverse research studies for the formation of clear and appropriate occupational values and positive educational beliefs, so that childcare providers could perceive the importance of occupational ethics and provide high-quality childcare services.

Influence of the Perception of Vocational Ethics and Education on Job Stress and Job Commitment in Occupational Therapists (작업치료사의 직업윤리와 교육에 대한 인식이 직무스트레스와 직무몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • The aimed of this research was to identify the influence of perception of the vocational ethics and education on job stress and job commitment in occupational therapists. 173 occupational therapists measure for perception of vocational ethics and education, job stress and job commitment, the findings of the study were as follows. First, perception of vocational ethics and education was correlated with job stress, job commitment(p<.01). Second, perception of vocational ethics and education sub-factor of education experience(p<.01), seriousness of ethical issues(p<.05) was found to have affected the job stress. Third, perception of vocational ethics and education sub-factor of education experience(p<.05) was found to have affected the job commitment. Through the results of this study, systematic education will be needed to recognize the importance of vocational ethics and improve it.

Consciousness of Biomedical Ethics and Professionalism among General Hospital Nurses (종합병원 간호사의 생명의료윤리의식과 전문직업성)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate nurses' consciousness of biomedical ethics and professionalism in general hospitals. Participants in this study were 163 nurses working in 3 general hospitals. Data analysis was done using SPSS / WIN 24.0 program. As a result of this study, the consciousness of biomedical ethics of the nurse was moderate. The highest sub-area was 'right to life of fetus' and 'artificial abortion' was the lowest sub-area. The professionalism of the subjects was moderate. The highest sub-area was 'reference professional group' and 'sense of mission' was the lowest sub-area. The nurses' consciousness of biomedical ethics was related to professionalism. Therefore, nurses should be educated to help ethical decision making so that they can have bioethical value and bioethical decision making ability according to the changes and demands of the times. In addition, institutional arrangements to improve professionalism should be provided.

A Study on Ethical Values and Professionalism of Dental Hygienists (치과위생사의 윤리적 가치관과 전문 직업성에 대한 인식 조사 연구)

  • This study conducted a survey of 265 dental hygienists working in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province from January 10 to February 28, 2021 to understand the ethical values and professional occupational characteristics of clinical dental hygienists. The difference in ethical values and professional occupational perception between subjects was post-tested using SPSS WIN 20.0 program and Scheffe test using independent sample T-test and one-way ANOVA. According to the results of the study, ethical thinking in ethical values was statistically significant in dental hospitals with higher final education, more work experience, and ethical work experience (p<0.05). The higher the age, the higher the final education, the more ethical education experience at university, the higher the sense of mission, the fewer working days, the more satisfying the job, the higher the organizational compliance with professional organizations and public service (p<0.05). The results of this study confirm the necessity of regular ethics education such as continuing education for dental hygienists, and are expected to be used as basic data to maintain ethical values and professionalism in clinical practice.

  • The growth of CM(construction management) market poses business opportunities and challenges to improve vocational ethics of CM professionals and firms. Ensuring the vocational ethics of CM professionals is an important issue not only for individual CM professional but also CM firms and CM industry in general. The objective of the study is to investigate relationships between the importance and performance of CM professionals' vocational ethics and discuss key characteristics and implications. The IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) technique is used as a research tool. Findings show that quality CM service and competencies are the core of CM professionals' vocational ethics. But there exists a gap between importance and performance of CM professionals' vocational ethics.

The Effect on Professional Ethic, Organizational Trust and Job Satisfaction among Private Security Guard (민간경비원의 직업윤리의식이 조직신뢰, 직무만족에 미치는 영향)

  • Based on the status of which the research is not active and the analysis is not progressed, the purpose of this study life up pride, value and professional ethic of private security guard. Also, through this research, it offers the effect on professional ethic, organizational trust and job satisfaction. The data collection and survey are taken by the private security business members who work staff member or manager. They are surveyed with convenience sampling that among 500 data, 46 data which are thought to be answered insincerely or lack are excluded, so the total of 454 answered data are included in the final analysis. After coding and input process, the data is analyzed by factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using window SPSS 19.0 version. Significance level is 0.05. The conclusion that has been made based on the statistical analysis results are the followings. Professional ethic has a positive impact on organizational trust, job satisfaction. The educational training of the company is connected job satisfaction resultantly. Also the professional ethics education will improve the ability of the individual. Finally, the professional ethics raises a job satisfaction. Also, Organizational trust has a positive impact on job satisfaction. This the while to agree with a research result about the other type of business worker who is researched. In order raising the job satisfaction, the effort for raising a organizational trust is necessary.
