A Multi-layered Analysis Study on the Effectiveness Evaluation of the Social Welfare Errand Center (사회복지심부름센터 효과성 평가에 대한 다층분석 연구)

  • In order to evaluate the effectiveness of the Jeollabuk-do social welfare errand center, this study focused on identifying the effects of users' personal characteristics and workers' job environment characteristics on user satisfaction. The data analyzed are survey data collected from users and workers at 11 social welfare errand centers in each city and county in Jeollabuk-do. In the detailed analysis, the first-level independent variable for the users' personal characteristics, the second-level independent variable for the worker's job environment characteristics, and the user satisfaction were set as the dependent variables, and then a hierarchical linear model analysis model was applied. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that households with disabilities, sense of job value, job stress, role overload, and salary satisfaction had a significant effect on the service satisfaction of users. The results of this analysis show that the characteristics of the job environment of the workers have a major effect on the satisfaction of service users. This suggests that there is a strong need for improvement in the fields.

A Methodology to Develop a Curriculum of Landscape Architecture based on National Competency Standards (국가직무능력표준(NCS) 기반 조경분야 교육과정 개발)

  • This study began from the question, "is there a way to efficiently apply industrial demand in the university curriculum?" Research focused on how to actively accept and respond to the era of the NCS (National Competency Standards). In order to apply NCS to individual departments of the university, industrial personnel must positively participate to form a practical-level curriculum by the NCS, which can be linked to the work and qualifications. A valid procedure for developing a curriculum based on the NCS of this study is as follows: First, the university must select a specific classification of NCS considering the relevant industry outlook, the speciality of professors in the university, the relationship with regional industries and the prospects for future employment, and the need for industrial manpower. Second, departments must establish a type of human resource that compromises goals for the university education and the missions of the chosen NCS. In this process, a unique competency unit of the university that can support the basic or applied subjects should be added to the task model. Third, the task model based on the NCS should be completed through the verification of each competency unit considering the acceptance or rejection in the curriculum. Fourth, subjects in response to each competency units within the task model should be developed while considering time and credits according to university regulations. After this, a clear subject description of how to operate and evaluate the contents of the curriculum should be created. Fifth, a roadmap for determining the period of operating subjects for each semester or year should be built. This roadmap will become a basis for the competency achievement frame to decide upon the adoption of a Process Evaluation Qualification System. In order for the NCS to be successfully established within the university, a consensus on the necessity of the NCS should be preceded by professors, students and staff members. Unlike a traditional curriculum by professors, the student-oriented NCS curriculum is needed sufficient understanding and empathy for the many sacrifices and commitment of the members of the university.

A Study on the Structural Analysis among Organizational Climate, Multicultural Practical Competence and Job Embededness of Multicultural Family Service Center (다문화가족지원센터의 조직풍토, 다문화실천역량 그리고 직무착근도간의 관계에 대한 구조방정식 모형분석 연구)

  • This research examined organizational climate, multicultural practice competence, and job embeddedness of multicultural family service center and studied on the structural relationship among these variables. The study samples are 175 multicultural practitioners at 7 multicultural family service centers located at Seoul and Gyunggi-Do. The study data was analyzed with descriptive analysis, conformatiory factor analysis and structural analysis by SPSS Statistics 20.0 and Amos 21.0. The study results are as follows. First, organizational climate, multicultural practice competence, and job embededness of multicultural family service centers appeared to be posive by the mean value of 3.5 out of 5. Specifically, work reward and incentives(M=3.33) are relatively low, multicultural practice skills(3.27) are lowest among multicultural practice competence sub-factors and fitness is the highest(Mean=3.79) among job embededness sub-factors. Second, multicultural practice competence have a positive effect on job embededness(Ɓ=0.426, C.R.=5.293, p<.001), and has a mediating effect between organizational climate and job embededness. Third, organizational climate has a positive effect on multicultural practice competence(Ɓ=.206, C.R.=2.499, p<.05) and has a positive effect on job embedednes(Ɓ=0.488, C.R.=6.131, p<.001). Based on the study results, it was suggested to improve job embededness of multicultural practitioners by changing organizational climate and improving multicultural practice competence.

Effects of Individual Motivation on Turnover Intention among Social Workers : Focused on the mediation effects of multiple commitment (사회복지사의 개인적 동기가 이직의도에 미치는 영향 - 다중몰입의 매개효과를 중심으로 -)

  • This study set out to investigate the effects of individual motivation on turnover intention among social workers and examine their turnover intentions in details by focusing on the mediation effects of multiple commitment. To be specific, it aimed to propose and test a prediction model for social workers' turnover intentions based on the Self-determination Theory and Theory of Planned Behavior. For those purposes, a mail survey was taken among social workers working for use facilities, residential facilities, public health centers, social welfare foundations and associations, and all kinds of centers and institutions in 15 cities and provinces across the nation. Total 1,918 questionnaires were distributed, and 1,671 ones were returned, and 979 whose respondents expressed a turnover intention were used in final analysis. The analysis results indicate that psychological motivation of social workers had direct impacts on their turnover intention. However, their role stress had no direct impacts on their turnover intention, which suggests that the impulsive routes model for turnover intention is supported only in psychological motivation and job characteristics. Secondly, their psychological and job motivation turned out to have indirect impacts on turnover intention through the multiple commitment, which suggests that the reflective routes model for turnover intention is supported in all career, job, and organizational commitment. Career commitment had the most significant impacts on turnover intention, being followed by job commitment and organizational commitment in the order, which suggests that the social welfare academy should increase their interest in career commitment. Task Satisfaction, Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment, and Turnover Intension of Center for Children's Foodservice Management Employees (어린이급식관리지원센터 직원의 업무만족, 직무만족, 조직몰입 및 이직의도)

  • The objective of this study was to provide information on difficulty of performing tasks, degree of task satisfaction, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention as well as investigate correlations among these factors. Data were collected on employees working at Centers for Children's Foodservice Management, which had been operating for over 6 months until December 2013. The recruitment period was from December 16, 2013 to January 30, 2014. A total of 228 employees (79.7%) participated in the study, and 227 completed questionnaires were analyzed. Statistical analyses were performed on the data utilizing the SPSS V20.0 and AMOS V21.0 programs. The main results of this study were as follows: task satisfaction of employees in charge of 'visiting-teaching' for children was highest (4.24 points), whereas that of employees in charge of financial management was lowest (2.92 points). In terms of evaluation of job satisfaction factors, the score of 'co-worker' was highest (3.99 points) while that of 'payment' was lowest (2.45 points). Average scores of general job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention were 3.56 points, 3.54 points, and 3.07 points, respectively. Job achievement was the most significant influencing factor on general job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention. According to the path analysis results, the degree of task satisfaction affected job satisfaction. Organizational commitment had a more significant effect on turnover intention than job satisfaction and mediate both job satisfaction and turnover intention. Although employees of CCFSMs endeavor to improve the quality of child-care facility foodservice, some facilities do not. Controlling turnover intention of employees is especially critical for CCFSMs since it is important for each employees to form strong bonds with child-care facilities as well as to shorten the time required to train new employees. Thus, job satisfaction, which is related to organizational commitment and turnover intention, can be improved by considering poorly scored job satisfaction factors such as wage or workload.

Impact on Job Satisfaction to Job Stress of Physician Assistant Nurses (Physician Assistant(PA)간호사의 직무스트레스가 직무만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to investigate the factors influencing job satisfaction to job stress of physician assistant(PA) nurses. This research design was a descriptive study. The subjects in this study were 104 PA nurses. Data were collected from September 1, 2010 to January 10, 2011, and analyzed by SPSS PASW statistics 18.0 program. The mean score of men on the job stress was 43.47(${\pm}13.77$), The mean score of women was 45.07(${\pm}9.78$). The mean score of job satisfaction was 2.72(${\pm}0.30$). There was no statistical difference between general characteristics and job satisfaction. There were statistical difference between unmarried subjects and organizing system(p<.05), inadequate compensation(p<.01). In the results of multivariate regression analysis, adjusted $R^2$ value was 0.567. The model fit was 56.7%. Job satisfaction was low in the insufficient job control and inadequate organizing system. It is hospital policies for the reduction of job stress(particularly, insufficient job control, and organizing system stress).

The Effects of Employees' Career Development upon Person-Job Fit and Job Satisfaction in the Hotel Industry (호텔 직원의 경력개발이 개인직무적합성 및 직무만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the influence of employees' career development in the hotel industry on person-job fit and job satisfaction. Based on total 353 employees obtained from empirical research, this study reviews the reliability and fitness of the research model and verifies a total of 3 hypotheses using the AMOS program. The hypothesized relationships in the model test are also analyzed using a structural equation model(SEM). The proposed model provided an adequate fit to the data, ${\chi}^2$=563.417(p<0.001), df=236, CMIN/DF=2.387, RMR=.070, GFI=.881, AGFI=.848, NFI=.921, CFI=.952, RMSEA=.065. The SEM results show that employees' career management (${\beta}$=.138), career plan ${\beta}$=.284), and career identity (${\beta}$=.437) among employees' career development plans have significant positive effects on person-job fit. Also, employees' career management (${\beta}$=.238) and employees' person-job fit (${\beta}$=.637) have significant positive effects on job satisfaction. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.

  • This study attempted to reveal the influence of the exchange relationship (TMX) between Pilates leaders and members on job performance. Accordingly, from April 1 to July 12, 2023, 82 lines of couple data (164 people: 82 leaders, 82 members) were sampled and the following results were derived. First, the higher the leader exchange relationship, the higher the leader's job performance, and the higher the member exchange relationship, the higher the leader's job performance. Second, it can be seen that the higher the leader exchange relationship, the higher the member's job performance, and the higher the member exchange relationship, the higher the member's job performance. Therefore, it can be seen as a result of reflecting the systematic demand for exchange activities because the dependent relationship leads to active job participation through mutual relationships with colleagues.

Impact of Internal Marketing on Job Satisfaction, Job Commitment, Organizational Commitment, and Customer Orientation in Hospital Employees (병원의 내부마케팅이 직무만족, 직무몰입, 조직몰입 및 고객지향성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze impact of internal marketing on job satisfaction, job commitment, organizational commitment, and customer orientation in rapidly changing health care environment. The data were collected from 635 employee of 3 hospitals using a standardized questionnaires in Busan and Gyeongnam province. The results were as follows. All internal marketing factors had a direct impact on job satisfaction, job commitment, management support, empowerment, reward systems but affected the indirect through the job satisfaction all factors of internal marketing. Based on the results of this study members of the hospital in order to improve customer orientation, job satisfaction, job commitment create a pleasant working environment, give an appropriate decision-making and compensation for work performance. Compensation for work performance and organizational development suggestions should be considered by executive support.

The Role of Emotional Labor Strategies Based on Job Demand- resource Theory (직무요구- 자원 이론에서의 감정노동전략의 역할)

  • This study investigated the effects of job demand-resource variables that appear in a special organizational environment such as a hospital on job burnout and job engagement using the job demands-resources model of Schaufeli & Bakker(2004). And also the study investigated to verify discriminatory mediating roles of emotional labor strategies in the process. The main finding of this study was as follows: Job demands-resources showed a positive relationship in the job burnout and job engagement, and job demands induced surface acting and job resources induced deep acting. However, deep acting showed a positive relationship to job engagement, and surface acting showed a negative relationship with job burnout unlike in previous study results, which was not significant. The results of verifying the meditation model through Boostrap showed that since the two indirect effects were not significant, the meditating role of emotional labor strategies was not verified in the effects of job demand-resource levels on job attitudes, including job burn out and job engagement.
