The pilot project for type diversification of self-sufficient support center that convert the centre corporation into social cooperative was introduced in 2015. That aimed to increase the number of participants of self-sufficient programmes and to create more jobs for the working poor through expanding the center's autonomy of usage of budget and arrangement of self-sufficient programmes. This study analyzed the organization transmitting processes and changes of the centers took part in the pilot project, then aimed to suggest the improvement schemes to be helpful for reinforcing positive efforts and removing obstacles in the process converting. The results show that converting into social cooperative is a choice for the sustainability of the centers led by surroundings rather than self-initiated plan. There are some positive changes that are increasing the enterprising spirit and obligation of the center staff. Further more, the cooperation with other community organizations is enhanced based on achieving regional recognition, and support of local governments and the opportunity for new businesses are expanded. However, these are very limited in the regions where social economy is undeveloped. Eventually, we should seek the development schemes of the pilot project considering the reduction of the number of participants in self-sufficient programmes and decreasing of their ability to work, even if some positive aspects are revealed.

This study analyzed social effects of participating in living culture activities for Daejeon citizens. The social effects were set to creativity and self-esteem at the individual factor and community involvement and exchange at the social factor, this effects were tested by the method of participation in living culture activities. We used SPSS 22 to analyze this effects, factor analysis, analysis of variance, and logistic regression analysis were used. The results showed that participation in lecture programs increased the effects of community involvement and exchange at the social factor. Participation in the club activities showed a decrease in creativity, and further analysis of the club activities was necessary. Participation in cultural art events increases self-esteem. Participation in performances and exhibitions of cultural art events increased creativity. Through these analysis results, first, development of living cultural programs to improve the characteristics of local residents and community of village culture. Second, revitalization through support of various community club activity programs. Third, support for the formation of village cultural community through exchange and cooperation between local Culture and Art Activists and local residents. Fourth, development and expansion of living-oriented and generation-integrated living cultural programs for young and old generations.

The purpose of this study was to explore the role of home economics education in a low fertility society in the contexts of curriculum contents, community involvement, public policy participation, and advocacy. The results showed following. First, home economics is a key subject matter in dealing with a low fertility problem among 2007 revised curriculum for secondary education level. Home economics curriculum contents was systematically organized through 8th grade to 10th grade in 4 units, where as curricula contents of social studies, science, and moral education deal with a low fertility problem in partial. Second, it is proposed to be active in community involvement incorporating with secondary education, college education, and lifelong education by service learning, outreach program, and extension program. Third, public policy and advocacy participation of home economics teachers are crucial for transformative leadership and practice in enhancing the condition of individual, family, and community wellbeing such as a low fertility problem. To perform this role of home economics education, home economics teachers should participate in developing curricula and teaching materials for the extra curricula activity, creative experiencing activity, and service learning activity. Home economics teacher educators also should actively involved in outreach program and extension program as well as in public policy advocacy activity for solving a low fertility problem.

본 연구는 충남 아산시 "찾아가는 맞춤형 여성교육" 프로그램 참여하는 중년여성의 참여를 통해 지역사회 발전을 위한 여성이 사회참여 필요성 증대 및 여성들의 다양한활 동 등 삶의 질 향상 등 맞춤형 여성교육 프로그램 확충 방안을 모색하기 위함이다. 4주간 매1회씩 인터뷰를 통해 여성의 전문성 향상 및 지속적인 사회참여활동을 지원하는 것에 만족감, 대인관계 및 인맥을 확장등의 긍정적인 반응들이 나타났다. 반면 전문 강사진, 프로그램에 대한 체계적인 관리가 필요함이 나타났다.

연구목적은 고령화의 사회에서 노인들이 지속적인 일을 통해 사회구성원으로 참여하도록하는 노인 일자리 및 사회활동 지원사업의 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 노인일자리 사업에 의 참여가 생활만족도와 성공적 노화에 미치는 영향을 검증하고자 한다. 본 연구의 방법은 KJ지역에 거주하는 65세 이상의 노인 중 노인일자리 사업에 참여중인 노인 700명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하려고 한다. 이 논문의 주요연구내용은 노인일자리 사업 참여가 생활만족도와 성공적 노화에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 2023년 11월부터 설문조사를 진행하여 결과를 spss 27.0을 활용하여 분석하려고 한다. 연구결과는 노인일자리 사업 참여가 생활만족도와 성공적 노화에 유의한 영향을 미치고 생활만족도는 매개효과가 있을 것으로 본다.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships among cognitive function, activities of daily living (ADL), participation and quality of life in community-dwelling elderly. Methods : Cognitive function, ADL, participation and quality of life were assessed in the 144 elderly people residing in the community. We used MMSE-K for measuring cognitive function, K-ADL for ADL, K-ACS for participation, and GQOL for quality of life. Results : Cognitive function was significantly correlated with social activity of participation and quality of life (physical health, psychological health, social relations and economic level). ADL was significantly correlated with participation (instrumental ADL, leisure activity) and all sub-areas of quality of life. Social activity of participation were significantly correlated with all subarea of quality of life except physical health. Among the variables, the most relevant variable was leisure activity. Conclusion : It was related to quality of life in the order of participation, ADL, and cognitive function. Among the sub-areas of participation, leisure activity was the most correlated with quality of life. This study, thus, aimed to provide basic data for successful elderly life by examining the correlation between cognitive function, daily life activity, participation and quality of life in community-dwelling elderly.

Objectives: This study was performed to investigate the relationship between individual-level social capital and depression. And, we assessed if depressive symptom mediates the relationship between social capital and self-rated health status. Methods: Data from the 2011 Community Health Survey were analyzed for this study. We used chi-square tests and analyzed a four step approach in which several regression analyses were conducted and significance of the coefficients was examined at each step. Results: In men, the results of controlling mediating factor (depression): social participation was not significantly associated with self-rated health status(p=0.082), the finding supports that social participation was fully mediated by depression. In women, the relationship between social capital(trust, social participation) and self-rated health status was partially mediated by depression. Conclusions: In order to increase self rated health status, not only improvement in trust and social participation are needed but effort to reduce depression must be combined.
