The purpose of this study was to discuss the example that developed geometry model textbook based on storytelling using real-life context. To achieve this purpose, we first elaborated the meaning of the textbook based on storytelling with real-life context, and then we discussed the outline of the story and the summary of each lesson. This study defined the storytelling textbook with real-life context as the textbook consisting of activities that explored and organized mathematical concepts by using real-life situations as materials of stories. The geometry textbook we developed employed two real-life materials, a map and a set square: we used a map for the coordinate geometry and a set square for the equation of a line. To attract students' interest, we introduced confrontation between a teacher and two students and a villain. We implemented experimentation with the textbook based on storytelling in order to verify its validity. The participants were 25 students that were enrolled in a high school in Seoul. Among them, 17 participants were surveyed. Students' answers from the survey questionnaire suggested that the geometry textbook we developed based on storytelling helped them learn mathematics and that the instruments such as a map and a set square helped them understand mathematical concepts. However, their opinion implied that the story of the textbook needed to be improved so that the story reflected more realistic contexts that were familiar with students.

The purpose of this paper is to study the spatial sense that is introduced for the first time in our 7th mathematics curriculum. For this purpose, we first investigated the factors of the spatial sense ability and with this factors, we analyze the errors those was founded in elementary school students' carrying out tasks related to the spatial sense, and the contents of elementary mathematics textbook. From the analysis, we found that the teaching topics in the spatial sense is disagreed with the students' learning level and for each similar topics is cut off into not adjacent grades, connecting these topics to each other and to the other traditional geo-metric topics is not easy. we must consider this findings in the future revision of mathematics curriculum.

Multiplication is able to be described by using repeated addition, a Cartesian product, a scalar operation, rectangular array and area in many various context. Multiplication in various problem situations is learned by various of the teaching method and the order of teaching more than any other mathematical concepts and operations in elementary school. Nevertheless, the context of multiplication leaves further room for improvement. The purpose of this study is to examine the similarities and differences between the conceptual aspects of multiplication through the literature and to analyze the appropriateness of the teaching method and the order of teaching through textbook analysis. As a result of the study, it was found that multiplication of a scalar operation was introduced too early and did not properly reflect of meaning of multiplication as a scalar operation. There is also a need to use the concept of the rectangular array or area as a meaning of multiplication two quantities.

웹 상에서 전자지도 서비스를 제공하기 위한 시스템으로써 클라이언트인 벡터지도 Viewer와 서버인 지도 서버, 주소-좌표 변환 서버를 개발하였으며, 또한, 웹 환경에 적합한 지도 데이터의 구축을 위해 지도 가공 및 구축 자동화 프로그램을 개발하였다. 그리고, 한국통신에서 현재 서비스 중인 전자 전화번호 서비스와의 결합을 통한 보다 진보된 형태의 서비스 제공을 위하여 연동 기능을 구현하였다. 본 시스템의 설계 및 구현은 불특정 다수를 대상으로 하는 서비스의 특성을 고려하여 웹 환경에 적합하도록 데이터의 전송 속도 문제, 동적인 사용자 인터페이스 제공, S/W 설치 부담 제거, 시스템의 효율적인 유지 보수 및 향후 시스템 확장 등에 초점을 맞췄다.

To activate the use of GIS, it is required to support a reliable digi-tal map. A digital map could be the base for other forms of maps as well as for direct applications, In this paper, the structure of such a basic map is pro¬posed. The structure is designed on the consideration of generality and classifica¬tion. The map data files are all character files and classification codes are pro¬posed.

지리정보시스템(GIS)에서 사용하는 지도는 여러 가지 목적의 응용 프로그램이나 지도의 축척등에 의해 서 다양하게 나타난다. 본 논문은 지리정보 시스템에 사용되는 지도중에서 관광안내지도를 대상으로 최적의 레이블링과 아이콘 표시방법을 통하여 관광지도 정보를 최적화하여 표현하기 위한 논문이다. 이를 위하여 서울시내의 여러 가지 관광버스의 노선도를 분석하여 이를 최적화된 방법으로 배치하고 표현하는 위한 방법을 연구하였다. 복잡한 버스의 노선은 주요 시설물을 중심으로 선분 간략화 알고리즘을 통하여 간략화 하였으며 간략화된 노선에서 중첩되는 레이블은 레이블 재배치 알고리즘을 이용하여 재배열하였다. 이러한 방법을 통하여 지리정보 데이터베이스로부터 자동화된 방식으로 구조화된 지도를 손쉽게 생성하는 방법을 제시한다.

자율주행 자동차의 개발을 위해서는 다양한 기능 평가, 성능 평가, 안전성 평가 등이 필수적이다. 이러한 평가는 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션과 실제 주행을 통해 이뤄질 수 있으며, 현실의 도로 상황을 고려한 단위시험환경들을 조합 구성한 통합시험환경에서 수행하는 것이 일반적이다. 여기서 단위시험환경은 도로망 구성, 장애물, 표지판 등의 정보를 포함하는 정밀도로지도를 기반으로 주행차량수, 보행자, 기상환경, 동적 이벤트 요소 등을 고려하여 구성할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단위시험환경을 구성하기 위한 정밀도로지도 처리 방법을 소개한다. 구체적으로는 정밀도로지도 처리를 포함하는 데이터 파이프라인을 설계하고, 정밀도로지도 객체분석을 통해 시험환경의 특성 및 상호 유사성을 파악한다. 국토지리정보원에서 배포한 정밀도로지도를 사용하여 객체를 추출하고 분석하는 실험을 수행했으며 전반적인 동작 상태를 확인했다. 개발한 소프트웨어는 향후 자율주행 학습을 위한 단위 및 통합 시험환경 구축 및 법규 및 규제 대응 서비스 시나리오의 구성에 활용할 예정이다.

With the spread of wireless internet, the interest in mobile applications and services is increasing. Korea Wireless Internet Standardization Forum has been establishing the standards for mobile platform and map service in the wireless internet environment. This study aims to present a paragon of mapping middleware that plays the role of broker for wireless internet map service: in particular, it focuses on the interoperability with generic map servers. In this study, we developed a method for applying current map servers to the wireless internet map service, and analyzed the request/response structure of the map servers which have different operation characteristics in order to allow our middleware to fully utilize the functionalities of the map servers. The middleware we developed is composed of .NET-based XML Web Services: it has a lightweight module for image map and a map representation module for choropleth map, symbol map, chart map, etc. This mapping middleware is a broker between mobile client and generic map server, and supports .NET clients and Java clients as well. Its component-based interoperability grants the extensibility for the wireless internet dedicated map servers of the future in addition to the current generic map servers.

일본정부는 지난 7월 14일 독도 영유권이 일본에 있다는 내용을 사실상 포함시킨 '중학교 사회과목 새 학습지도 요령 해설서'를 공표했다. 이에 우리나라 정부는 권철현 주일 대사를 독도 영유권 명기에 대한 항의 표시로 일시 귀국조치 시켰다. 이처럼 독도가 일본땅이라고 억지주장하는 것과 비례해 독도에 대한 관심도 그 어느때보다 높아지고 있다. 이에 본지는 독도가 한국영토임을 증명하는 역사적 객관적 사실을 지도와 책자 등 인쇄물을 통해 정리해 본다.

현행 교육과정에서는 서로 만나는 두 직선의 둘레로 회전하여 얻는 곡면 즉 직원뿔을 꼭지점을 지나지 않는 평면으로 잘라 만들어지는 원추곡선 중에서 원을 제외한 포물선, 타원, 쌍곡선에 대한 시각적 직관적 개념 형성 지도가 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 시각적, 직관적 개념 형성에 적합한 상황과 대상을 제공할 수 있는 컴퓨터 응용소프트웨어를 이용하여 이차곡선을 도입하고 Computer Algebra System을 적용한 MathView를 이용하여 포물선, 타원, 쌍곡선 방정식의 개념 지도 방안을 구안하였다.
