Analysis of Gender-Specific Relationships among Children's Important Self-Domain, Self-Evaluation and Global Self-Esteem (아동의 중요자아영역과 자기평가 및 자아존중감 간의 관계: 성별 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among children's important self-domain, self-evaluation and global self-esteem by gender. Information was collected on 376 5-6th graders from elementary schools in Busan. The major findings were that 1) The self-evaluation of peer domain was the most powerful determinant on self-esteem in both boys and girls 2) The percentage that valued domain of family self was higher than the other groups in both boys and girls(boys 36.3%, girls 55.4%). 3) In boys' domains of peer self and computer self, important self-domain moderated the effect of self evaluation on global self-esteem.

  • 노년기에 발생 할 수 있는 다양한 신체적, 경제적, 심리 사회적 문제들과 더불어 자아존중감은 정신건강의 문제 측면에서 새롭게 대두되고 있는 시점에서 노인의 정신건강을 이해하는데 중요한 요소 중의 하나다. 본 연구를 통하여 사회복지 실천적 측면에서 노인들의 정신건강 증진을 위한 새로운 변화를 모색 할 수 있으며 노인의 자아존중감 향상 프로그램 개발을 통해 자아존중감을 회복함으로 노인 스스로 자신감 있는 모습과 어려움의 사건들에 대해서도 적극적으로 대처하고, 늘 긍정적 요소를 찾고 생활의 부정적인 상황으로부터 자신을 보호 할 수 있는 영역을 활성화하는 체계를 마련하는데 목적이 있다.

Perception of Young Children Happiness (유아 행복에 대한 인식)

  • The purpose for this study is to research the perception of happiness among the kindergarten young children. The subjects were kindergarten young children of 6, 7 years old in Kwangju. The finding of this study were as follows : 1. kindergarten young children of 6, 7 years old considered that the most important elements of happiness to have a positive mind, to be loved. And kindergarten young children of 7 years old perceived spend time with family as happiness. 2. 'the most moment when you feel happy" perceived that the most important elements of happiness were to be loved, play with children and to spend time with children. 3. 'To be happy' perceived that the most important elements of happiness were the relationship of parents and friends. Especially, seven years old children perceived to be able to do self-development. Therefore, I suggested it is necessary to study a program of young children's happiness, a program of parent's participation for young children's happiness in kindergarten, and a program of young children' career education.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a measurement tool for self-image of the teacher librarian by semantic differential meaning scale and to analyse the correlation between their self-image and individual characteristics. This study suggests that the teacher librarians have regarded themselves as friendly, planned, sensitive and cooperative persons as well as persons with discernment. On the other hand, there are some negative self-images such as partial, poor and uninfluential persons plus disregarder and a reserved persons. The educational career of teacher librarians' background has influence on evaluation area of the self-image. This result shows that senior teacher librarians' role performance as a adviser or a leader is very important. So mediator role of KLA and KSLA has to be reinforced to beat the exchange and collaboration between the senior and the junior teacher librarians. It is necessary to appoint the teacher librarians obligatorily in oder to feel their professional security and sense of achievement, also to appreciate expertise of them through role clarification among the human resources of the school library.

  • This study focuses on the fact that the awareness of problems concerning self-reflection has not been sufficiently addressed in the realm of Library and Information Science, although it has an important effect on the professional development and individual maturity of librarians. Recent research on self-reflection, which is only at the beginning stages of study, has brought up the need for additional and more in-depth analyses of factors that influence self-reflection. This study on the progress of overall research will show the current status and definition of librarians' self-reflection. The study will also illuminate and make suggestions to help direct future research along the lines of librarians' self-reflection and corresponding educational requirements.

  • The availability of computers and the wide network of the internet of the 'Information Society' has created a new space: Cyberspace. In this situations, the matters of individual identities and morality are more important problems. Korean classical novel, Gu Wun Mong, embodied the exploration process of identities in virtual spaces, has gravity of a situation. Seong Jin, the hero experienced the life of Yang so you went throughing virtual life, be born again. And he met eight taoist fairy in that virtual world. In this process, Seong Jin overcame a dualistic world of view and established identity of genuine truth-seeker. The 'Dream-fantasy' experience differentiation real world and virture world and give to Seong Jin a new identity, So You. Seong Jin used avatar, So You was free from limits of self and became obtain multiple personalities. Finally, Seong Jin realized the fact that real world and virtual one is the same, for development self-perception. Seong Jin's enlightment provided solutions for modern netizens, who is ambivalent about contradiction the real and virtual, infinity and clash of desire.

  • Adolescence is a period when ego resilience, the ability to overcome stress, is important because self-identity is not established. Culture and arts education has various effects on the ego resilience of adolescents, so school culture arts education and social culture arts education use teaching and learning methods appropriate to the situation of adolescents. Self-understanding of the effects of culture and arts education has a significant effect on emotional control, vitality, interpersonal relationships, optimism, and curiosity of adolescent ego resilience, On the other hand, it was found that emotional stability among the effects of culture and arts education did not have a significant effect on all factors of adolescent ego resilience. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare a plan to provide opportunities for career exploration as a more practical program for adolescence to understand themselves and develop themselves. In addition, Culture and arts education should be conducted with convergence research that enables youths to maintain good relationships with others, have high self-confidence, and play a role in a wide range of stable and mature lives.

An Analysis on Differences between Freshmen and The Other Students' Career Development Competencies and Educational Needs (대학 신입생과 재학생의 진로개발역량 수준 및 교육요구도 차이 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences between freshmen and the other students' career development competencies and educational needs. To achieve this, the survey was carried out and 362 undergraduates participated. The findings of the survey were shown as follows: First, the students perceived that effective interpersonal relationships and positive self-concept formation were more needed. Second, only the positive self-concept formation showed statistically significant differences. Third, the rating of the educational needs was identical from the first place to the forth, but different from the fifth to the sixth. Fourth, by the Locus for Focus model, more information was identified about educational needs of students. These results will contribute to develop the career education programs.

Research on Christian self-identity in the metaverse era (메타버스시대의 기독교 자아정체감을 위한 연구)

  • Purpose of study: The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction of Christian self-identity while paying attention to the metaverse era. It suggests the direction of education that forms a Christian self-identity based on the problems of identity crisis that may arise due to the problem of de-realization while accepting the situation of the metaverse that has emerged due to the digital revolution. Research content and method: Focusing on the discussion of metaverse and de-realization, this paper suggests the importance of Christian self-identity and the direction of education. For this purpose, four tasks of practical theology were carried out based on Richard Osmer's consensus model. As the desciptive-empirical task was carried out, the opportunities and risks of the metaverse were brought up. Through the interpretive task, the problem of metaverse and de-realization was presented. The normative task emphasized the importance of Christian self-identity, and the pragmatic task proposed an education oriented towards Christian self-identity. Conclusions and Suggestions: It is important for education in the metaverse era to form a sense of Christian self-identity. The purpose of education is the formation of Christian's self-identity, and the content is to build the Christian relationality self, equality self, and openness self. The teaching method is interactive teaching, and the teacher and learner can be presented as an encounter between interpreters. The environment is any area of interpreted life, and evaluation can manifest itself in Christian life as disciples and citizens. The suggestion is to suggest compedency education methods for acquiring Christian self-identity while considering various generations.

The effect of using portfolio-based lessons on the development of self-identity of female middle school students and its two-year follow up - Focusing on the 'Understanding Adolescents' unit in middle school technology and home economics - (자아정체감 발달 수업에서의 포트폴리오 수업방법의 효과와 학년별 추이 - 기술.가정 교과의 청소년의 이해 단원을 중심으로 -)

  • This research looks at the effects of portfolio-based lessons to help female middle school students understand and develop their self identity, and to examine the influence of various factors within the school and home environment. The participants were 256 female middle school students in Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do and the analysis was done using the SPSS/WIN 12.0 program. The 6 portfolio-based teaching lessons were made with the aim of developing each subordinate scope in every module for development of self-receptiveness, uniqueness, closeness, tendency of planning the future, and independence. Results of the pre and post-test revealed that scores of self-receptiveness and uniqueness increased. Content analysis revealed that the students pursued their talents and interests through the portfolio activities, and made specific plans for their future careers. In sum, the results demonstrate that the students became specifically and systematically concerned about their future career. The results of hierarchical regression showed that self-receptiveness developed when their parents' attitudes were not rejecting and their peer relationships were positive. Uniqueness was shown to develop as the fostering attitudes of parents were receptive. Closeness developed as fostering attitudes of parents were receptive and as their relationships with peers were positive. The students' tendency to plan the future developed as fostering attitudes of parents were receptive and as their relationships with teachers were good, and independence was shown to develop as the fostering attitudes of parents were not rejecting. Results of a two-year follow-up study appeared that self-receptiveness scores decreased as time passed, so students had highest scores in their first year and lowest scores in their third year. Scores of uniqueness, tendency of planning the future, and identity increased in the students' second year and then remained steadily afterward.
