Parameter Sensitivity Analysis of Induction Motor Sensorless Drive with Full-Order Observer (전차원 관측기를 이용한 유도기 센서리스 운전 시 제정수 오차의 영향 분석)

  • 본 논문에서는 전차원 관측기를 이용한 유도기의 센서리스 운전에서 제정수 오차가 제어 성능에 미치는 영향을 수식적으로 분석하였다. 주파수 응답 함수를 이용해 실제 자속과 추정 자속의 관계를 운전 속도와 슬립 주파수의 함수로 나타내었다. 적응(adaptive) 법칙을 이용하여 추정 속도를 수식에서 제거하였다. 또한 각오차가 존재하는 상황에서 전류 운전점 변화를 고려하여 슬립 주파수를 토크 지령으로 변환하였다. 결과적으로 모든 운전 속도와 토크 지령에 대해서 임의의 제정수 오차가 시스템의 안정도, 속도 오차 및 토크 오차에 미치는 영향을 계산할 수 있는 수식을 구하였다. 기존의 분석 방법들이 많은 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통해 제정수의 영향을 평가했던 것과 달리, 구해진 수식에 근거하여 계산을 통해 빠르게 주어진 센서리스 운전 방법을 평가할 수 있는 방법을 제공하였다. 제안된 분석 방법은 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통해 검증되었다.

A Half-Rate Space-Frequency Coded OFDM with Dual Viterbi Decoder (이중 Viterbi 복호기를 가지는 반율 공간-주파수 부호화된 직교 주파수분할다중화)

  • In this paper, a space-frequency coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (SFC-OFDM) scheme with dual Viterbi decoder is proposed and analyzed. Here, two independent half-rate OFDM symbols are generated after convolutional coding of the binary source code. A dual Viterbi decoder is exploited to decode the demodulated sequences independently in the receiver, and their path metrics are compared. Accordingly, the recovered binary data in the proposed scheme are composed of the combination of the sequences having larger path metrics while those in a conventional system are simply the output of single Viterbi decoder. As a result, the proposed SFC-OFDM scheme has a better performance than the conventional one for all signal-to-noise power ratio.

  • It is important to analyse the frequency spectrum for the measurement of modulated signal, distortion, and noise. The frequency spectrum analysis is performed by the execution of Radix-2 DIT DFT i.e. FFT algorithm. The discrete input signal converted by A/D converter from the input signal in time domain is mathematically transformed to the frequency spectrum by FFT algorithm. In this study, we design the digital spectrum analyser by the hardware based on the TMS320F2812 DSP and AD9244 converter, and by the software based on the C28x S/W modules. We can timely analyse the frequency spectrum in mobile communication system by the digital frequency analyser based on the high performance DSP and S/W modules. This real-time analysing capability is the important performance in the internet-based mobile communication server system.

  • 본 논문에서는 진공 차단기의 투입 시 발생하는 고주파 재발호 진동현상을 모의하여 계통의 전압-주파수 특성을 분석한다. 우선 시간영역에서 차단기 투입에 따른 개폐 서지 현상을 모의하여 다중 재발호에 의한 진행파의 주파수 특성을 검토한다. 모의 결과를 통해 추정된 고주파 회로저항과 기존 전원, 고압케이블, 변압기로 구성된 고주파 재발호 진동해석용 등가 회로를 구현하고 주파수 스캔 기능을 이용하여 인가되는 전압의 주파수 변화에 따른 계통의 임피던스 크기변화를 확인한다. 끝으로, 시간 영역 및 주파수 영역에서 도출된 계통의 공진 주파수와 철도차량용 주 변압기의 공진주파수를 비교하여 내부 공진 여부에 따른 권선간 전압 확대 가능성을 논하고자 한다.

Performance Analysis of Extended QRD-RLS Equalizer (Extended QRD-RLS 등화기의 성능 분석)

  • In this paper, performances of the extended QRD-RLS equalizer is analyzed. Since the extended QRD-RLS equalizer is efficiently implemented by systolic array architecture, we analyze performances of this structure with signals of different lengths. By multiplying the frequency responses of the unknown channel and proposed equalizer, we observed the flatness of the overall system function. Through the simulation, it is shown that the performance of the extended QRD-RLS equalizer is remarkably increased with input signals of length 16.

  • In this paper, a high speed code synchronization circuit is proposed. for fast code synchronization, matched filler method is used for initial code acquisition with two channel correlators. Particular frequency patterns of the limited number having the information about PN code start time are composed and transmitted repeatedly to increase the probability of accurate initial synchronization. And digital frequency synthesizer is proposed. And it's performance is analyzed theoretically. The analysis show that fast frequency hopping is possible in frequency hopping system that use digital frequency synthesizer.

  • The phase noise characteristics of the phase-locked loop frequency synthesizer were predicted based on the analysis for phase noise contribution of noise sources. The proposed phase noise model in this paper more accurately predicts the phase noise spectrum of frequency synthesizer. To accurately model the phase noise contribution of noise sources in frequency synthesizer, the phase noise sources were analyzed via modeling of the frequency divider and phase noise components using Leeson model for reference signal source and VCO. The phase noise transfer functions to VCO from noise sources were analyzed by superposition theory and linear operation of phase-locked loop. To evaluate the phase noise prediction model, the frequency synthesizers were fabricated and were evaluated by measured data and prediction data.

Selective Quantization Based on Band Property for Wideband Signal Codec (광대역 신호 압축기를 위한 주파수 대역 특성에 선택적인 양자화 방법)

  • In this paper, a novel quantization method for wideband signal codec with 7 kHz bandwidth is proposed. In the transform-based wideband signal codecs, the signal is transformed to frequency domain and the spectral coefficients in each frequency band are quantized based on human perceptual model, followed by Huffman coding. However, the property of each band varies with frequency, and the codec has poor performance when all bands are quantized with the same method. Therefore, a selective quantization method is proposed, which analyzes the band property and selects the quantization domain between frequency domain and time domain based on the quantization efficiency. It is confirmed that the proposed method has better performance than the quantizer of G722.1 codec.

  • In this paper, we have investigated ultrahigh frequency nano-mechanical resonators, made of DWCNTs with various wall lengths, via classical molecular dynamics simulations. We have aimed our analysis on the frequency variations of these resonators with the DWCNT wall lengths. The results show that the variations can be well fitted by either the Pearson VII function when the resonant frequency of normalized by its maximum frequency is plotted as a function of the inner/outer wall length ratio L5/L10 for different values of the outer wall length L10, and the Gauss distribution function when the resonant frequency of normalized by its maximum frequency is plotted as a function of the outer/inner wall length ratio for different values of the inner wall length.

Analysis of Phase Noise in Frequency Synthesizer with DDS Driven PLL Architecture (DDS Driven PLL 구조 주파수 합성기의 위상 잡음 분석)

  • In this paper, we have proposed a phase noise model of fast frequency hopping synthesizer with DDS Driven PLL architecture. To accurately model the phase noise contribution of noise sources in frequency hopping synthesizer, they were investigated using model of digital divider for PLL, DAC for DDS and Leeson's model for reference oscillator and VCO. Especially it was proposed that the noise component of low pass filter was considered together with the phase noise of VCO. Under assuming linear operation of a phase locked loop, the phase noise transfer functions from noise sources to the output of synthesizer was analyzed by superposition theory. The proposed phase noise prediction model was evaluated and its results were compared with measured data.
