  • 개인의 탁월한 업적은 사회적 지위나 재산 등으로 평가되고 있지만 경영자의 경우는 자기 공헌이 조직내에서 매몰 되어 버리는 경우가 있다. 효율적인 경영자는 자기직무에 수행해 나가기 위해 혼자서 일하는 것이 아니고 조직의 구성원으로 일하지 않으면 안된다. 경영자는 조직을 약화시키는 관습들을 없애고 조직을 강화시키는 방법을 강구하여 조직구성원의 각자 상호의존성을 인식함으로써 조직의 유효한 구성원이 되어야 한다. 각 조직구성원은 조직전체의 직무과정이 원활히 수련될 수 있도록 자기 직무를 잘 인식해야 할 뿐 아니라 경영자는 조직을 강화시키는 전반적인 방법을 체득해야 할 책임을 져야한다.

A study on the effect of organizational culture recognized by organizational members of public organizations on learning organization and organizational performance (공조직의 조직구성원이 인식하는 조직문화가 학습조직과 조직성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of organizational culture on organization and organizational performance, and it was targeting for 350 public officials (local governments, foundation under local governments, public corporation) who research work and consulting were implemented for. When it comes to the response to questionnaires, 313 copies out of 350 were verified on the research hypothesis of the research model by using statistical package programs of SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 20.0. Results of the research hypothesis on research model show that firstly, regarding the research hypothesis 1 that the organizational culture of public organization will have a positive (+) significant effect on learning organization, the organizational culture recognized by the organizational members of public organizations showed a positive influence on the learning organization. In other words, it showed that the organizational culture recognized by the organization members of public organizations is a major factor in building a learning organization. Secondly, regarding the research hypothesis 2, the result of the relationship between organizational culture and organizational performance, that the organizational culture recognized by the organizational members of the public sector showed a positive influence and it implies the importance of recognizing and transforming the organizational culture of public organizations to improve organizational performance of public organizations. Thirdly, regarding the research hypothesis 3, the organizational culture recognized by the organizational members of public organizations showed an influence on organizational performance and also showed apositive(+) influence on organizational performance through learning organization. As the organizational culture recognized by the organization members in the public sectoris influencing the organizational performance through the learning organization, various implementation plans are required to improve organizational culture, improving learning organization, and improving organizational performance in accordance with the characteristics of public organizations.

The Effect of Individual Factors and Job Environment Factors on Employees' Organizational Adaptability -Focused on Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprises Employees- (개인특성 및 직무환경이 구성원의 조직적응성에 미치는 영향 -수도권 중소기업체 종사자를 대상으로-)

  • This study analyzed the factors affecting organizational adaptation among the members of SMEs. Until now, research on organizational adaptation has been mainly conducted in large corporations or public institutions. Very little research has been conducted on SME members. Factors affecting the organizational adaptation of employees were set by individual factors and job environment factors. In the individual factors, the sub-variables were set as self-efficacy, optimism, and resilience, and in the job environment factors, organizational fairness and organizational culture. The sample data were surveyed using a survey method such as visit, telephone call, e-mail and fax. 98 data were used for the analysis. Statistical analysis was performed using regression analysis. As a result, self-efficacy, optimism, and resilience of individual factors were analyzed as positive variables for organizational adaptation of employees, and organizational fairness in the job environment was analyzed as variables that did not positively affect organizational adaptation of employees. However, the organizational culture of the job environment was analyzed as a variable that positively affects organizational adaptation of employees. These results showed that the fair application of wage level, workload, compensation, and opinion reflection did not affect the organizational adaptation of employees. On the other hand, in the preceding studies, organizational adaptability was conducted mainly in large corporations, but this study was able to suggest practical implications in analyzing organizational adaptability among SME members.

Impacts of Punishment and Ethics Training on Information Security Compliance: Focus on the Moderating Role of Organizational Type (처벌과 윤리교육이 정보보안준수에 미치는 영향: 조직유형의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • Although organizations are given various benefits with information technologies, they sometimes have suffered fatal damages due to information security incidents now such as computer virus, hacking, counterfeiting, plagiarizing, etc. The fundamentalcauses of information security incidents are closely related to individuals who do not comply with information security policy or rules. The spontaneous self-control of individuals and monitoring for individuals could be the most essential solution for the ongoing observance of information security policy. Thus, the purpose of this study is to analyze effects of punishment and ethics training on compliance of information security policy of individuals in organizations, to determine individual divide among security propensity depending on organization types, and to find the more fundamental solution which leads change of organizational members’ behaviors and self-control. Regardless of the type of organizations, the results of the study suggest that there exist positive effects of punishment and ethics training in all types of organization on compliance of information security rules or regulations. A member of unitary form organization has higher cognition of punishment than a member's cognition of the multi-divisional form organization, while relatively lower awareness of ethics training. Also, a member of public organization has higher awareness of ethics training than a member’s awareness of private organization, while lower cognition of punishment. Finally, the result shows that punishment and ethics training may be major factors which affect information security. It also suggests that organizational security managers have to understand and consider organization member’s propensity relying on organization form and organization characteristics for establishment and enforcement of information security policy.

Effects of Pre- and Post-Employment Experience Factors on Individual and Organizational Priority -A Case of Korea Airports Corporation- (입사 전·후 경험요인이 개인 및 조직 우선가치에 미치는 영향 -한국공항공사 사례연구-)

  • This is a case study of Korea Airports Corporation(KAC) examining the effects of pre- and post-employment experience factors on individual and organizational priority. This study surveyed 240 employees of KAC and analyzed the results. The influence of pre-employment experience (number of times applying to public sector, reason to choose public sector, and job changing experience) and post-employment experience (years of employment, position, and job types) on personal value (authority, achievement, welfare, vacation, and personal life) and organizational value (responsibility, obligation, performance, compensation, and participation) was studied. The results indicated that organizational value is generally greater than personal value. Preference value (=organizational value/personal value) was greater than one for every group. Education, years of employment, position, reason to choose public sector were confirmed to influence preference value. For pre-employment factors, as an employee chooses to work in the public sector because of better balance of work-personal life, preference value was confirmed to be lower. For post-employment factors, when the years of employment are longer and the position is higher, preference value is significantly higher. The results imply that an organization should establish a fair evaluation and compensation system to help employees display their full capability to produce maximum performance.

The Effects of Compensation and Pay Dispersion on Organizational Productivity and Performance: The Case of Korean Professional Basketball Teams (한국프로농구 기업의 임금수준과 임금격차가 구성원의 생산성과 조직성과에 미치는 영향: 한국프로농구를 중심으로)

  • Compensation and pay dispersion has been rigorously scrutinized to investigate their impacts on productivity and organizational performance. However, it is difficult to find a systematic study on the systematic dynamics of compensation and pay dispersion effects specifically in the context of Korean venture companies. Venture companies should manage their organizational resources efficiently to maximize their organizational performance through pay structure by efficiently managing the inherent resources. However, we acknowledge that empirical studies on how compensation and pay dispersion affect organizational productivity and performance are rare to find in the Korean context. To overcome this supplement limitation, this study hypothesized that (1) pay and members' productivity are positively related, (2) pay dispersion and organizational productivity have U shaped relationship, and (3) organizational productivity mediates the positive relationship between compensation and organizational performance. Venture companies and professional sports teams share manifold common characteristics such as size, financial circumstances, and operational objectives. We collect 9 seasons (2013~2014 - 2021~2022) of 10 teams' data of Korean Basketball League teams to test our hypotheses. Methodologically, the assessment of our analysis is rendered with PROCESS macro model 58. The statistical results showed that all hypotheses are statistically supported. This study explains how compensation and pay dispersion affect organizational productivity and performance of venture companies in Korea.

  • Although organizations are providing information security policy, education and support to guide their employees in security policy compliance, accidents by non-compliance is still a never ending problem to organizations. This study investigates the factors that influence employees' information security policy compliance behavior using elements of Triandis model. We analyzed the relationships among Triandis model's factors using PLS(Partial Least Squares). The result of the hypothesis tests shows that organization can induce individual's information security policy compliance intention and behavior by information security policy and facilitating conditions that support it, and proves the importance of members' expected value, habit and affect about information security compliance. This study is significant in a way that it applies Triandis model in the field of information security, and presents direction for members' information security behavior, and will be able to provide measures to establish organization's information security policy and increase members' compliance behavior.

  • 코로나 시대를 거쳐 뉴노멀로 향하는 이 시점에 메타버스 플랫폼을 활용한 다양한 조직의 운영이 기대된다. 조직에서의 리더는 구성원들을 이끌며 조직의 목표에 도달을 수 있도록 리더십을 발휘한다. 이런 리더십은 예전부터 다양한 형태로 발전되어 져서 전통적 리더십에서 변혁적 리더십, 카리스마 리더십, 슈퍼 리더십 등을 거쳐 최근에는 서번트 리더십이 각광을 받고 있다. 현실에서의 조직을 이끄는 리더십과 가상의 공간의 메타버스상에서의 리더십은 분명 많은 차이가 있을 것으로 예상된다. 본 논문에서는 리더의 서번트 리더십의 지각수준과, 서번트 리더십의 구성요소가 현실과 메타버스 플랫폼을 사용하는 조직을 대조하여 구성원의 직무태도 및 조직몰입의 영향에 대하여 질문을 던지고 새로운 리더십의 방향을 찾는 연구에 대한 기준을 제시한다.

  • CoP(Community of Practices)란 구성원간 새로운 정보 및 지식의 상호학습 및 문제해결방안을 모색하기 위해 활동하는 공동체를 지칭하는 것으로, 통상 학습공동체 또는 실천공동체 등으로 지칭된다. 연구개발조직은 통상 내부 구성원간의 상호학습은 물론 외부 전문가와의 정보교류 및 상호학습을 촉진하는 CoP 활성화를 토대로 구성원의 역량개발은 물론 해당 조직의 연구개발 성과를 향상시키려고 노력한다. 본 연구는 대전에 소재한 4개 국가연구개발조직의 151명 연구원을 대상으로 한 설문조사 결과를 바탕으로 응답자들이 참여한 CoP 운영특성과 해당 CoP 창출 성과와의 관계를 실증적으로 연구하고 있다. 실증연구 결과, 신규멤버 증대, 외부연계 도전적 풍토, 다양성지향 자율적 풍토와 같은 실질적인 CoP 운영특성이 CoP 성과에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 비해 참가자수나 모임횟수와 같은 외형적 운영특성의 영향력은 유의성이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이 조사결과는 참여한 구성원의 역량개발은 물론 해당 조직의 성과 향상에 기여하는 CoP를 활성화 하기 위해 CoP의 수, 참가자 규모, 운영횟수와 같은 외형적 특성에만 치중하기보다, CoP의 운영내실화를 기하고, 창의적 조직풍토를 강화하는 노력이 보다 효과적일 수 있음을 시사한다.

The Relationship Between, Situational Factors, Psychological Empowerment and Employee's Attitudes (조직상황 특성, 심리적 임파워먼트 및 구성원 태도간의 관계)

  • To date, the majority of research on empowerment has focussed on the individual job incumbent's psychological experience of empowerment and linking this with various work-related outcomes. However, a model that focuses on individual subjective reactions is at best incomplete if it does not include an examination of the contextual factors that shape those perceptions. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the relationships among situational factors, psychological empowerment and employee's attitudes. The data were collected by questionnaire from a sample of 525 employees who were working at business organizations in Kangwon area. Results indicated that organizational characteristics such as access to information, LMX, and participative climate were positively related to an employee's psychological empowerment. Psychological empowerment was positively related to an employee's job attitudes such as organizational commitment and innovative behavior. Finally, theoretical and practical implications from the results were discussed.
