A Study on Performance Improvement of Adaptive SLC System Using Eigenanalysis Method and Comparing with RLS Method (Eigenanalysis 방식의 적응 SLC(sidelobe canceller) 시스템의 적용에 따른 성능향상 및 RLS 방식과외 비교에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we study the performance of eigencanceller which use a eigenvector and eigenvalue in order to update a weighter vector. Eigencanceller can suppress directional interferences and noise effectively while maintaining specified beam pattern constraints. The constraints and optimal weight vector of eigencanceller vary by using interference and noise or desired signal, interference signal and noise as array input signal. From the analysis results in the steady state, We show that weight vectors in each case are simplified the form of projection equation that belongs to desired subspace orthogonal to interference subspace and eigencanceller has the better performance than RLS method through mathematical analysis and simulation.

  • The efforts of reflecting the system's uncertainties in design step have been made and robust optimization or reliability-based design optimization are examples of the most famous methodologies. In their formulation, the mean and standard deviation of a performance function and constraints expressed by probability conditions are involved. Therefore, it is essential to effectively and accurately calculate them and, in addition, the sensitivity results are required to obtain when the nonlinear programming is utilized during optimization process. We aim to obtain the new and efficient sensitivity formulation, which is based on integral form, on statistical moments such as the mean and standard deviation, and probability constraints. It does not require the additional functional calculation when statistical moments and failure or satisfaction probabilities are already obtained at a design point. Moreover, some numerical examples have been calculated and compared with the exact solution or the results of Monte Carlo Simulation method. The results seem to be very satisfactory.

A Study on the Ooptimization of the Stiffened Cylindrical Shell (보강원통셀의 최적구조설계에 관한 연구)

  • The minimum weight design for the simply supported orthogonally stiffened cylindrical shell subjected to axial compression is studied by a mathematical programming. A smeared-out method is used for the computation of buckling load in the optimization process and optimization is accomplished by a gradient projection method. Maximum eight design variables and twenty-one inequality constraints considering the buckling, stress and geometric restraints are used. The three stringer types are considered as the optimization models : (1) rectangular stringer (2) I-stringer (3) T-stringer. Two design examples are compared with those in the other studies and the results demonstrate the validity of the present study. From the calculation the design with T-stringer can be more efficient than the one with rectangular or I-stringer.

  • In IEEE 802.16 system, it is important to allocate resources appropriately in order to the efficient utilization of resources among a variety of real-time and non real-time packets. although a lot of the real-time and non real-time packet scheduling schemes in OFDMA system have been proposed, it need to be modified to apply to IEEE 802.16 system. Since IEEE 802.16 supports five kinds of service classes, it is important to take QoS constraints of these classes into consideration. In this paper, we propose a efficient scheduling scheme to support various services by considering the QoS constraints of each classes.

  • The model predictive controller performance of the mobile robot is set to an arbitrary value because it is difficult to select an accurate value with respect to the controller parameter. The general model predictive control uses a quadratic cost function to minimize the difference between the reference tracking error and the predicted trajectory error of the actual robot. In this study, we construct a predictive controller by transforming it into a quadratic programming problem considering velocity and acceleration constraints. The control parameters of the predictive controller, which determines the control performance of the mobile robot, are used a simple weighting matrix Q, R without the reference model matrix $A_r$ by applying a quadratic cost function from which the reference tracking error vector is removed. Therefore, we designed the predictive controller 1 and 2 of the mobile robot considering the constraints, and optimized the controller parameters of the predictive controller using a genetic algorithm with excellent optimization capability.

  • 융합과 필터링(Fusion and Filtering: F/F) 기법은 신호처리, 제어 등 많은 공학분야에서 사용되며 현재 파티클 필터(Particle Filter: PF)가 최근 가장 각광받고 있다. 그러나 비선형 시스템과 모델링 하기 어려운 에러조건 때문에 기존의 파티클 필터조차 제대로 다루지 못하는 공학환경이 존재한다. 이에 파티클 필터뿐만 아니라 칼만 계열(Kalman varieties)의 필터 방법들을 통합할 수 있는 Constraint Manifold(CM) 기반 융합과 필터링 방법이 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 CM 기반 필터링을 효과적으로 수행할 수 있도록 제한 조건 표현에 대한 방법론을 제시하면 시뮬레이션을 통해 기존 파티클 필터와의 성능 비교를 수행하였다.

  • 사이버 물리 시스템의 발달은 네트워크 기반 제어 시스템을 다양한 형태로 진화시키고 있다. 네트워크에서는 전송 지연과 전송 오류에 의해서 다양한 불규칙한 지연이 발생하고 지연에 강인한 제어기 설계가 요구되고 있다. 마코프 프로세서를 따르는 지연을 갖는 제어 시스템에서 제어기를 설계할 때에 많이 사용되는 모델중에 하나가 확장된 상태 벡터를 기반으로 한 마코프 점프 선형 시스템 모델이다. 본 연구에서는 이 모델을 이용하여 리아푸노프 안전성 조건으로부터 유도되는 선형 행렬 부등식의 안정성 조건으로부터 저복잡도를 가지고 제어기를 유도하는 직관적 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 모의 실험을 통해서 성능을 확인하였으나, 직관적 방법 구조상에서 제한 조건의 수가 자유 변수의 수보다 많은 이유 때문에 성능이 배우 제한적임을 확인하였고, 이를 개선하기 위한 향후 연구가 요청됨을 확인하였다.

  • 새롭게 대두되고 있는 홈 네트워크(Home Network) 환경에서 정보가전은 댁내외에서 제공되는 여러가지 데이터 서비스를 제공받는 단말기로서의 역할을 담당하며, 이러한 데이터를 체계적이고 효율적으로 관리하기 위해서 정보가전용 내장형 데이터베이스 시스템의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이 시스템은 기존의 파일이나 메모리 기반 데이터베이스 시스템과 같이 동시성 제어를 지원하여야 하지만, 제한된 자원의 효율적인 활용이라는 제약 조건을 가지고 있다. 본고에서는 이러한 조건에 부합하는 정보가전에 탑재될 내장형 데이터베이스 시스템의 요구조건을 정의하고, 이에 부합되는 동시에 제어의 기법으로 제한적 다중 버전을 이용한 2단계 잠금 기법(Multiversion Technique with 2-Phase Locking)을 제시하고, 이 기법이 기존의 잠금 기법 및 다중 버전 기법보다 정보가전에 적합할 수 있음을 각각의 장단점의 분석을 통해 기술하였다.

Prevention System for Real Time Traffic Accident (실시간 교통사고 예방 시스템)

  • In order to reduce traffic accidents, many researchers studied a traffic accident model. The Cause of traffic accidents is usually the mis calculation of traffic signals or bad traffic intersection design. Therefore, to analyse the cause of traffic accidents, it takes effort. This paper, it calculates the optimal safe car speed considering intersection conditions and weather conditions. It will recommend calculation of 1/3 in vehicle speed when there are rainy days and snow days. But the problem is that it will always display the same speed limit when whether conditions change. In order to solve these problems, in this paper, it is proposed the calculation of optimal safety speed algorithm uses weather conditions and road conditions. Computer simulations is prove that it computes the traffic speed limit correctly, which proposed considering intelligent traffic accident prediction algorithms.
