This study was about developing a diagnostic assessment tool for the health of Baptist Church. To enable this, the definition of healthy Baptist churches and health factors was examined, diagnostic questions by church health factors was developed. Literature review and research of Delphi were used for research methods. Based on the quarter sampling method, the main survey was conducted on 395 people about factor analysis and needs analysis. Through this study, a healthy Baptist church is defined as a community of believers who glorify God by performing the functions of the church well, having the attributes of the church and the identity of the Baptist church as a body member of Christ. Factors of the healthy Baptist churches are community, loyalty of function, identity of Baptist church, and the essential qualities of the church. It was confirmed that there are 17 factors such as community of faith, worship, priesthood of all believers, and apostolicity. For measuring healthy Baptist Church, it consists of 199 diagnostic assessment questionnaires which can be reduced to 53 or 23 condensed diagnostic assessment questionnaires.
The purpose of this research is to compare and analyze differences in modern 'Hyo' concepts and behaviors between the gifted and the general students of the elementary school. In this study, two groups(the gifted and the general students of the elementary school) were compared, in grade, birth-order, family members, education and religion factors in family, to seek for a better way to teach the Korean gifted students. The results are, as follows. First, the gifted had higher 'Hyo' concepts than the general students, because developments of the gifted in the field of intellect, emotion and will are faster than the general. The gifted had many interests in values and moral decisions. There are no meaningful differences between boys and girls in the gifted group. But in the general group, girls have higher 'Hyo' concepts than boys. This is because girls emotional developments are faster than boys. Second, in the gifted group, 5th graders have higher 'Hyo' concepts than 6th graders. On the other hand, in the general group, there are no meaningful differences between 5th graders and 6th graders. Third, there were no differences between the groups(gifted/general) by birth-order, family members and having religions or not. However, the comparison between nuclear families and large families shows that Korean traditional ethics - 'Hyo' is still in existence as a basic concept in the family, in spite of the changing family size and unit. In addition, in the family with a religion, the' Hyo' concept is revealed stronger than the other group. This is caused by the power of commanding love and affection which are emphasized through religions. From the results of this research, the gifted students of the elementary school have high consciousness concerning 'Hyo' concepts and behaviors. It is very essential for them to improve their 'Hyo' concepts until adulthood. Therefore, teachers and parents should pay more attention to help them improve their senses of Korean traditional morality - 'Hyo'.
The purpose of this study is to investigate of the North Korean adolescents defectors' mathematics learning. We have investgated the characteristics of the North Korean adolescents defectors' mathematics learning states and their difficulties in mathematics learning. As a result, the affective domain of the North Korean adolescents defectors was less confident, worthy, and motivated to learn than the South Korean students. The abandonment rate of the North Korean adolescents defectors was higher than that of the South Korean students. According to the results of the survey, the North Korean adolescents defectors who attended elementary school in Korea compared to the births of the North Koreans and other countries had higher interest and desire for learning. Especially, the result showed that the difficulty of learning the mathematics of the North Korean defectors was the linguistic factor.
This study aimed to develop a measure of professional identity for Korean dental hygienists and to analyze the factors and characteristics of professional identity of these dental hygienists. In this study, 890 dental hygienists completed a self-administered survey. The final analysis was conducted with a total of 880 responses, excluding 10 questionnaires with unreliable responses and partial responses. A systematic literature review was conducted to establish the definition of professional identity, while content validity, exploratory factor, confirmatory factor, and reliability analysis were conducted to establish the constructive factors. Descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, and one-way ANOVA were used to identify the level of each factor. Authors conceptualized the professional identity for Korean dental hygienists and item generation, item reduction, and questionnaire formatting. The developed measure of professional identity for dental hygienists consisted of five factors, with 15 items. "Sense of calling," "need for academic capacity building," "performance of delegated authority," "compliance of code of ethics," and "usage of professional organizations" were the constituent factors. Based on these factors, the level of professional identity was the highest in the "performance of delegated authority" and lowest in the "usage of professional organizations." These finding indicated that dental hygienists with higher education levels have higher professional identity levels. The dental hygienists working at the general/university hospital had the highest level of professional identity. Thus, further research is needed to establish a model that consists of factors affecting and influencing the professional identity of dental hygienists.
The objectives of this study are to identify significant antecedents of trust and satisfaction and to examine the relationship between trust and satisfaction and interrelationship between trust, satisfaction, loyalty, relationship retention and intention of words of mouth based on buyers of Chinese internet shopping mall. The questionnaire was collected by personal interview. A total of 448 completed questionnaires were collected. Confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to test the validity of the measurement model, and the structural model also was analyzed to examine the associations hypothesized in the research model. This study uses AMOS program to investigate the research model. Results in this paper indicate that the antecedents of trust and satisfaction have three dimensions, namely communicational, traditional and relational factors. All these three functions are positively related to trust and satisfaction. Also the results show that trust and satisfaction are positively related to loyalty, relationship retention and intention of words of mouth. Finally, this study suggests the implications of these findings and offers directions for future research.

The purpose of this study is to find out the relation between co-cognitive factors, personal affective and characteristic features as the basis that prompts talented behaviors and leadership. The subjects of the study were 77 elementary mathematically gifted students attending at the gifted education center affiliated with University of Education in D metropolitan city and 110 elementary students in metropolitan city and provinces. The results of this study are as follows. First, elementary mathematically gifted students had higher levels than general students in every subdirectory of co-cognitive factors and the difference was statistically significant. Second, there was a difference between leadership of elementary mathematically gifted students and that of general students. Also, the level of gifted students' leadership was higher than the latter. Third, when it comes to the relation between co-cognitive factors and leadership, both of gifted students and general students showed positive correlation between subdirectory of co-cognitive factors and that of leadership. Consequently, development of co-cognitive factors will lead to improvement of leadership since co-cognitive factors positively influence on leadership. Therefore, it is desirable that co-cognitive factors are considered when developing a program for leadership.
This study investigates the relationships of perfectionism and the affective traits(academic self-concept, learning attitude, interest, mathematical anxiety, learning habits) in mathematics between the gifted students and the regular students in Korean Middle Schools. The findings of this study can be used for the understanding of the gifted students, and as data or resources for counsellors when they advise the gifted students on enhancing study strategies and developing future courses. This study was investigated by measuring the relationships between perfectionism and the affective traits on mathematics between two groups. Here, the correlation analysis, t-test, and regression analysis of the SPSS for Window 12.0 Program were applied to measure the differences of both groups. Therefore, there were no differences in perfectionism between the gifted students and the regular students. But the self-oriented perfectionism of the gifted students appeared higher compare with regular students. The affective traits in mathematics of the gifted students appeared more positive compare with regular students. There were a few correlations between the perfectionism and the affective traits in mathematics at two group all. however the self-oriented perfectionism and the affective traits in mathematics showed to correlation. There were several suggestions based on the results of this study. First, the results showed that professional assistance is needed for the gifted students so that their perfectionism flows positively into developing their gifts. Secondly, the results suggested that specialized mathematical program reflecting on the affective traits of the gifted students in mathematics should be offered.Lastly, tthe results of this study suggested a researcher regarding relevance with perfectionism and affective traits regarding subject shall be performed more. The result of research shall be included to contents of training for the gifted students and their parents.

In this study, a science museum teaching-learning model was developed with emphasis on play. In order to do this, the models of factor-centered museum education and process-centered museum education were reviewed and characteristics of science museum education were considered. The model developed in this study is called 'Play-Learning Model in Science Museum', and 'play' is defined as activities to achieve the mission in accordance with methods and rules set by individuals or small groups including scaffolding and play is divided into competition, simulation, and chance. 'Play-Learning Model in Science Museum' emphasizes learning using the articles on exhibition, scaffolding and interaction in small groups, and play. The model consists of four steps: 'Preparation', 'Exploring the exhibits', 'Experience', and 'Summary of learning content'. In the 'Preparation' step, the students form related knowledge and are ready to play. The 'Exploring the exhibits' step is the core step of this model, and entails the students solving problems in the mission by interacting with members of the small group. When they cannot find resolution, they get help. In the 'Experience' step, hands-on activities related to the prior step are included. In the 'Summary of learning content' step, the students summarize what they learned while playing. As science museum education is implemented in a variety of forms, continuous research about the science museum learning model and development of various programs are needed.
The bio-data processing is used for a suitable purpose with bio-signals, which are obtained from human individuals. Recently, there is increasing demand that the bio-data has been widely applied to various applications. However, it is often that the number of data within each class is limited and the number of classes is large due to the property of problem domain. Therefore, the conventional pattern recognition systems and classification methods are suffering form low generalization performance because the system using the lack of data is influenced by noises of that. To solve this problem, we propose a modified additive factor model for bio-data generation, with two factors; the class factor which affects properties of each individuals and the environment factor such as noises which affects all classes. We then develop a classification system through defining a new similarity function using the proposed model. The proposed method maximizes to use an information of the class classification. So, we can expect to obtain good generalization performances with robust noises from small number of datas for bio-data. Experimental results show that proposed method outperforms significantly conventional method with real bio-data.
This paper analyzes the factors affecting the relationship characteristics of firms and public research institutes, in-addition to analyzing the effect of relationship characteristics with the industry-public research institute cooperation. We selected factors influencing relationship characteristics of firms and public research institutes based on the study of existing industry-university-institute cooperation. These factors include the willingness of the industry-public research institute cooperation, firm's R&D capabilities, and the firm's perceived public research institutes competence. The relationship between these factors, their relationship characteristics, and the performance of the industry-public research institute cooperation was studied using six hypotheses. In order to test this research model, we conducted a survey on industry-public research institute cooperation firms and received responses from 116 companies. Partial Least Square-Multi Group Analysis (PLS-MGA) was used to test the research model. The results of the empirical analysis show the following results. First, the willingness of the industry-public research institute cooperation, firm's R&D capabilities and firm's perceived public research institutes competence have a positive impact on the relationship characteristics of firms and public research institutes. Second, the relationship characteristics of firms and public research institutes have a positive impact on firm performance in the industry-public research institute cooperation. Third, firm's R&D capabilities and firm's perceived public research institutes competence directly affect firm performance in the industry-public research institute cooperation. These results provide policy and practical implications for enhancing firm performance of the industry-public research institute cooperation.
